Inside this open and sunlit vacation rental, you'll find an open floorplan featuring a stainless steel kitchen with a breakfast nook, an attached breakfast counter, and a comfortable living area with lots of seating options, a Netflix-equipped flatscreen TV, and a full-size pool table for when it's time for a little friendly competition. And right outside, relax, dine, or entertain on the large, furnished deck with the Gulf of Mexico as your backdrop.

Located on a beach access road, just a short walk from the sand, you will have plenty to do during your stay here in Crystal Beach. When you're not spending time on the shore, rent a golf cart for the day and discover all the activities close by. Take a ride up to the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, a protected coastal marsh for bird-watching, hiking, and fishing, just 30 miles away, or pick up some takeout from the Stingaree Restaurant & Marina, less than two miles from your front door.

Great Stay for 3 Generations

Loved the natural light, open floor plan & how every bedroom had its own bathroom. The large deck had nice water views. When inside, we enjoyed playing pool and piling onto the big couches to watch TV. Easy & quick walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. A great time was had by all!

Very impressed

Our original beach house had to be renovated and was not available anymore. They got us into an new beach house with no extra cost to us. We really enjoyed the home and amenities it offered. Their help center was very responsive and helpful when ever I had a question. I wouldn't recommend renting a golf cart from West Canal Beach Buggies but that's not this companies fault.

Perfect Stay

House is spacious and so close to the water. We all loved our bedrooms and the fact that we get our own private bathroom attached. We spent the days playing pool, sitting on the back deck, and when we wanted to go to the beach, it’s just a simple walk over! We did have a slight problem when we first arrived but it was immediately fixed by guest services.

Wonderful living space.

Overall, this house is amazing. The living space was perfect for two families of 4. Beach access is awesome and the beach was wonderful. Our neighnorhood was ideal. Lower level shower is a must. It works great. Large picnic table is a bonus. There is a keurig and a regular coffee pot. The pool table was also really cool and kept everyone occupied when it was too cool at the beach. A couple of things to bring. Foil and trashbags. We would definitely recommend!

Family Vacation

Great for multi family. Every family had their own bedroom and bathroom, which is makes it nice for privacy. Loved the pool table, it was a big hit with the family. Easy access to the beach. Perfect Beach House

We had 5 people ranging in age from 11 to 90! Everything at this house was perfect for all of us. The three bedrooms each with en-suite baths were perfect. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of plush towels, sectional in great room was comfy, kitchen well stocked. It was cold so we didn’t use the deck but it has plenty of seating and a good view. The pool table was a great bonus. Not one single negative, we hope to rent this gem again.

It was not the best. I’ve never checked into a beach house that hasn’t been cleaned, then got to experience how it was “cleaned” by the lady that was rushed over. Then there was the septic issue. We couldn’t even get a late check out. Not happy at all. Location was the only thing was satisfying.

Second timer

Starting texting and calling about the grill not working didn’t get any help at all!! My son in law had to figure out how to fix it with a missing piece!! Cleaning crew showed up at 3:50 check in 4:00 had to wait about 40 mins! Several things I reported on check in like the toilets running!! And shower door was broke and water ran on the floor! Just miscellaneous things! When you plan vacations and outdoor grilling is always the plan and getting standard responses was maddening!

It needs care but would definitely come back

It was a great vacation. The location of the house is wonderful. Beautiful view. The size and layout of the house is perfect for 10 people. Not crowded, great kitchen space, good bathrooms. Negatives: refrigerator is awful. It could not handle being loaded with frozen drinks and items from our ice chests. Made the temperature go up to 60 degrees. Freezer was worse. Ice maker did not work at all. Refrigerator was better 8 hours later. Only one door shelf in fridge, no shelves at all in the freezer. Very inconvenient for a family of cooks. Several light bulbs were burned out. A couple of electric outlets did not work. Cabinet door in bedroom nightstand broken. Chair legs loose. House needs basic maintenance throughout. Digital door lock was not explained. We were given a code before arrival time but no instructions on how to open the door and how to lock the door when we leave. Left two or three messages asking for instructions. We ended up leaving someone in the house at all times so we wouldn't have to lock it. Just lucky we got in the first time because no one knows what we did to get it to work Other than these little problems the place is awesome. We loved the house and our family vacation there.

Great time for all with a couple of hitches

First, we had a great time overall. The listing is just like the pictures and the view is phenomenal. I hope they never build up around the property to cover the ocean view you do have. The walk is very quick as well as promised. And since you rarely see a review, the beds were comfy as well. We had what we needed and made do with what we had a little of or bought more. No big. However, the bathroom my mom stayed in, the toilet had an issue where it didnt flush right and eventually not at all. I messaged Vacasa that night and was told someone would be at the property the next morning. The next morning, almost noon, I didnt hear anything and contacted Vacasa again, and they didnt seem to know what I was referring to so, maybe a lack of communication? Whatever the case may be, this agent was more communicative and even called me to confirm that I still needed help. We were not at the property because we were enjoying a relaxing beach day, but I was pleased to find that help had arrived and serviced the issue within the hour or so when I went for provisions, and no other issues with that occurred, so my mom was grateful. The only other issue we had was the Keurig - on the Thursday before we left, it decided to stop working. It turned on, stated it was ready, filled up half my cup, and then stopped. On inspection, the pod chamber had filled with water and grounds...but wasnt clogged. Rather then mess with it further or call Vacasa again, I left a note on it. Time for a new one?

House is wonderful

The house itself was really nice. The layout was perfect with plenty of room and we loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The view of the Gulf was perfect and you're just steps away from the beach. The pool table was a big hit for all of us. We definitely put it to good use, seeing as the weather was pretty "blah" all weekend and we were forced to stay inside for much of it. Two of the chairs (that spin) on the outside deck were broken and will need to be replaced. Or just removed. I do have a complaint. We were notified the day before our trip that the A/C had gone out in the house and were offered either a refund or a credit along with portable A/C units during our stay. As it was my birthday weekend and I had friends planning to join to celebrate, we opted to use the portable units and receive a credit. The portable units actually did a great job keeping the house mostly cool. It was a relief when we arrived. When I returned from my trip, I contacted Vacasa to inquire about the credit I was told I'd receive. They have since told me twice that they've credited my account and we have discovered they have confused me with another guest more than once. It has been 2 1/2 weeks since my trip to this beach house and as I type this, I still have not received my credit. It definitely should not take this long. I intentionally waited to write a review in hopes that the property management would come through on their end, in a timely fashion, and then I could praise them here for a job well done. I wish that had been the case. With that being said, the house itself really is lovely. If you don't experience any issues where you have to deal with Vacasa, you're probably going to have a great stay. I would like to suggest that Vacasa consider changing check-in and check-out times though. Checking in so late (almost evening) and checking out at 10:00am is a bummer. I am looking to book another house this fall and have noticed that home owners and even other property management companies have much more desirable in and out times. Again, I adore this home. And I would love to stay here again if it weren't for the issues I listed above.

Beach views

The pros: the house is so close to the beach. You can sit out on the deck and enjoy the view. The deck is great to sit outside and watch the waves. The set up in the home is great. Each room has its own restroom. The house is spacious and the AC runs fantastic. Also you cannot beat the outdoor shower. It has hot and cold water. They provide chairs too for the beach. You never run out of hot water. The cons: the house needs some attention. The light fixtures, furniture, bed sets were all dirty. The kitchen looked like it needed attention. We used Clorox wipes to clean up the stove, fridge and microwave. The bar stools some are loose, the outdoor chairs some are broken and some are very rusty. The grill was not usable and when I mentioned it I was told it had “blown up” and got picked up yet it’s listed as an amenity. The washer and dryer needs to be unplugged and plugged back in or it gets stuck in spin and rinse. The first bedroom has the toilet paper holder missing and it’s just plastered up. In all honesty I would stay there again. I would maybe just bring more cleaning products with me.

The property is located a half block from the beach. You can use a golfcart but a walk is only a minute. The property is nice and would be nice for a couple or a family. Overall the property is a Great place to stay.

Absolutely loved our stay, it’s one minute from your porch to the beach! Whole family loved the pool table, and everything we needed for a great beach stay was there. We will be back to this one!

Keenly a Plus!

The perfect spot for a little vacation! Great views of the gulf, sunrise and sunsets. Beach access is a hop skip away. Plenty of room for sleeping and keeping the teenagers entertained. Love the open concept of kitchen and living room.
