One of your favorites from Beach Bird Properties ! Golf cart included. Beautiful open floor plan 3 BR, 2BA house just a few rows back from the ocean. Great view of the lake and fountain for your morning coffee with even better views of the sunset. Just minutes to the 2 outdoor pools, children's water park and indoor pool (open year round). Private beach parking with access to the magnificently soft sand of Surfside Beach. Amenities include baseball field, basketball, volley ball, bocce ball, tennis, pickle ball, and a shuffle board courts.
We are a pet friendly property, there is a 45# limit on dogs size unless cleared by the owners. There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee.
We reserve the right to monitor the outside area of this property via home security devices.

Perfection

This is our second year staying at this incredible home. Everything about this home is amazing. It is super clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. Dream Home

The Lazy Pelican is a great home with a view to enjoy while sitting on the porch. The rooms are spaceous . The home has a great decor. Equipped with everything you need, and Mark & Diane were very helpful with any questions that we had.The welcome basket was so nice of them. We will definetly be back next year.

Great vacation home

We enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Pelican very much. The perfect amount of space for our four generations girls trip, 3 adults, 2 children and a little dog. It had everything we needed, even a kennel for my dog. The golf kart made getting to the beach and around Ocean Side Village so easy. The beach was so nice and the kids had fun at the kiddie pool, too. Mark and Diane were very responsive to all messages that I sent them. I hope to be a repeat customer next year. -Amy Horton

My boyfriend and I enjoyed staying at this beautiful vacation home! The house had everything we needed, a lot of space and was very clean! We loved sitting out on the screened in porch! A Wonderful Experience at The Lazy Pelican

My family had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Pelican. I have never stayed at a cleaner rental! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the hosts were fantastic! You are just a quick golf cart ride from the ocean. The property had everything needed for a day at the beach including umbrellas, chairs, beach toys and more. We hope to stay at this property next year!

Super clean and great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Pelican!! It was perfect for us! The house is exactly as described and extremely clean!! The use of golf cart was awesome! Just a short 2 minute ride to the beach. We really loved sitting on the front porch overlooking the little lake. The communication from the owners was excellent!! Would definitely stay there again!! Great house and location

We loved this house! Location was perfect and home was very clean and cozy. The owners and property manager were great and communication was great. The neighborhood was really quaint and very friendly people. We look forward to staying there again!

Great Stay

The only negative I have would be that there was only one key card to get in and out of the gates and it did not work (I couldn’t get it to work, maybe it was my fault.) Other than that, the house was great. Check in was simple. The place was very clean and the view from the front deck was great. Definitely recommend staying here!

Wonder place to stay

We love this house. It has such an open layout with the bedrooms on either end. The kitchen feels big and all decor is so beachy. Nice furniture and amazing screened porch. The golf cart is so much fun and it is in a wonderful subdivision!!!! Loved it.

A wonderful property

This is a great property, close to the beach,the house is exceptional. Great house!

This is a great house - it doesn’t always happen that you see pictures of a home and it is exactly that when you arrive - this house is! It’s clean and stocked with plenty of items to be used during our stay. The screened in front porch was one of our favorite places to be. We immediately booked it again for next summer when we arrived!

Great Trip!

The house is beautiful! Very thoughtfully laid out and beautiful bedding and furniture. Loved reading on the screened porch and enjoying the golf cart. Clean and most importantly provided vaccum and broom to keep up with sand control! The only deduction was made because of communication. Its not actually managed by the host. I texted asking about the air conditioning upon arrival and never got a response. I called with no answer and voicemail box full. When I did get a hold of someone they resolved the issue but would have been great to deal with it at 7:00 vs 10:00 at night. Everything else was a breeze and overall would highly recommend.

Enjoyable, very nice property

We all were impressed with the decor, high ceilings, TV's, kitchen appointments. Liked having laundry on site. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. Golf cart was perfect. Two suggestions. Grab bar outside the tub/shower for less agile renters to safely enter and exit tub/shower. Leave more than one extra trash bag in the kitchen.

Fabulous Vacation rental

We had a lovely family vacation at the Lazy Pelican. Everything we needed for a restful time with family was provided. There was a slight issue with the dishwasher- the new granite countertop installers didn’t connect one thing. Kevin came over and worked his magic and everything worked well after that. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the safety to walk in the neighborhood, and the closeness of Murrels inlet and marsh area. We look forward to a future visit.
