If you can tear yourself away from the pool and tennis court, the local towns of Citta di Castello, San Sepulcro, Monterchi and Anghiari are flush with adventures promising an unforgettable Italian experience. If that's not enough Florence, Perugia, Sienna, Assisi and the enormous Lake Trasimano are all within easy reach.

The Climate: On the whole the region enjoys very comfortable weather. When is does get too hot Casivieri is situated up in the hills benefitting from the cool evening breeze.

The walls of the house are roughly four feet thick and all the windows are shuttered. On hot days the interior stays very cool allowing for pleasant uninterrupted sleep.
