A lovely and private location, this pristine condo is located on the beautiful and historic Old Church Place property on Pacific Street in downtown San Luis Obispo. One of four attached homes behind a charming old church that now functions as private offices. An excellent downtown SLO location, close to everything yet quiet and relaxing.

This luxurious newer unit features a spacious open concept living, dining and kitchen area up the stairs on the 2nd level with beautiful wood floors, quality stainless steel appliances, powder room and a charming balcony for enjoying views of the surrounding hills. The 3rd floor is home to a large soothing master suite with Queen bed, sitting area, walk in closet, full bathroom and convenient access to the interior laundry. On the ground level you will enjoy the attached single car garage, beautiful entry, 2nd bedroom with a very comfortable queen futon bed and desk that can double as work space (if desired) and 1/2 guest bath. Wood, travertine and carpet flooring throughout, quartz countertops, plantation shutters, individually zoned heating and cooling, lots of natural light and charming window seats are just some of the details that help make this your very special home away from home.

This unit is well equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, heating + air conditioning, full sized washer and dryer, single car garage with automatic door opener and all of the furniture, décor, linens and dishes needed to make for a comfortable stay.

Charming as advertised

We had a wonderful stay. The property is just large enough for our family of four to stay comfortably. Perfectly located. Minor issues: With open windows at night for natural cooling, the unit is close enough to downtown to be occasionally awakened by loud noises. Parking is extremely tight, three point turns were standard for the 90 degree turn into/out of the garage. When a car parked in front of the unit to the right, a nine point turn was required. Bonus points: Our AC unit failed on July 3. The service technician diagnosed the problem on July 4 and the unit was fully operational the morning of July 5.

Immaculate property in perfect location

Location, location, location! Downtown within walking distance of shops, Thursday night farmers market, restaurants. Very clean and beautiful home. Kitchen was well-equipped. The pictures don't do it justice. It was nice having a desk in the second bedroom (where my husband worked). Internet speed was excellent. It was convenient having a bathroom on each floor. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

Great downtown condo

Really enjoyed our family stay here, it felt like a home away from home. We loved the open concept kitchen. Management was very easy to communicate with. Neighbors were lovely, so many great shops and parks within walking distance. Very thoroughly clean, except areas for improvement are that the rubber seal on the washer really needs to be replaced (mold) and the rugs could use a wash. Everything else was perfect.

Great getaway in SLO

We were there for a month and overall we would highly recommend. Very helpful team especially Harley. Pluses: Walking distance to restaurants and bars, modern and well equipped (kitchen, linen, laundry detergents, etc.), airy + light, split level A/C and off street parking. Minuses: Tight garage space and a bit noisy with the windows open because of location next to main business area.

Beautiful Condo

We enjoyed everything about our two-month rental and highly recommend it. However, you must enjoy stairs and have a small auto. The only suggestion we have is to place a large tv in the living room and take the small one upstairs to the bedroom.

Outstanding Downtown SLO Location

Walk everywhere enjoying SLO downtown shops, countless restaurants,, historic neighborhoods, nearby parks, and mountain hikes. This listing has location, location location. The unit’s bottom story is compact but has a bed and desk and a 2 piece bath. The light fixture in the bath needs to be brighter. The second floor is the living space with a lovely lounger couch. It is very attractive. The television Ste is a bit small for the space. The kitchen is well appointed. There is a powder room on this floor and an outdoor balcony. The third floor is sleeping quarters with a washer and dryer, walk-in closet and full bath. Each floor has an independent heating/cooling system. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 week stay. Hopefully if you have a car you and park in the garage you will have a partner who can jump out and guide you so you don’t hit anything in the narrow awkward space.

Nice condo, great location

Great location, within walking distance to downtown SLO. For guests looking to work remotely, the internet was sufficient the whole stay (I'm a software engineer with lots of virtual meetings). The garage is very tight - our crossover just cleared the mirrors - but it was nice to have a garage where we could lock up our bikes and car. There was a minor hitch on checkin where the VRBO instructions didn't match the ones Cindy sent, but we got in and I think she has fixed that. There's a bathroom on each floor but the shower is on the 3rd floor and could use some extra towel racks. I would come here again and would recommend the condo to friends and family.

Great location and convenient. Just loved being able to walk to most places we wanted to go. The weather was great, especially in January. The condo was a nice size for us and we fixed most of our meals there. We’ll equipped and comfortable.

Excellent property and perfect location

We stayed in San Luis Obispo for a couple of months and are so happy we chose this property. It is walking distance to everything this charming city has to offer. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and cooking utensils. There is just one bed and shower which are located in the master suite. The other sleeping options are futons. Would have liked one extra bed -but other than that the stay was terrific. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent Location and Very Comfortable Stay

This property is an excellent place to stay if you want to be right in downtown San Luis Obispo. It is convenient to the attractions, hiking, restaurants and other shops. It was extremely comfortable staying there: from the furniture to the ease of use of the kitchen. It is exactly as pictured and even better. We would consider staying there again.

Perfect SLO experience

We came for a month and stayed for almost six! That's how comfortable we found the place. The location is ideal - off the main drag and back of the lot for quiet and privacy, but only 1-2 blocks away from great restaurants, movie theaters, Doc Burnstein's ice cream, and the famous SLO Farmer's Market. 10 minute walk to the AMTRAK station. The home itself is perfect if you're comfortable with stairs. There are bathrooms on every floor, and the main bedroom is quite secluded up at the top. A previous guest noted that it's perfect except for the garage, which can be difficult to enter - a small car is best, but we managed it with a mini-van, very carefully. Management was completely responsive to our needs, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay.

Ideal Spot for Extended Stay In San Luis Obispo

I was fortunate to find such accommodations at a very affordable rate in downtown San Luis Obispo. For 5 weeks I enjoyed SLO and surrounding attractions and came home every day to the best accommodations imaginable. Everything about the condominium is just as described and pictured in its' online presence. I think I may have been the first occupant of this property. The only drawback is the challenge of parking in the condos garage. If I had the need and opportunity, I would certainly rent this property again! Dr. Mike

Really loved the home and the location!

What a great spot! San Luis Obispo is a great town with lots to do, but living so close to downtown was the icing on the cake. I could walk to my new favorite sushi place, Goshi, and get to know the chef. Or easily drive to any of the nearby trails for a hike. And after a day of work, I could come back to a clean and comfortable home and wake up refreshed. Next time I'm back in town on business, I'll be contacting Mary again. It was a pleasure.
