Welcome to our second Air BnB, A Peaceful Place #2! Our spacious and cozy home is located a mile to Thumb Butte and is a short 6 minute drive to Courthouse Plaza. Prescott offers so much to keep you busy, from numerous trails you can hike, bike, run or trail ride, to many lakes to visit, kayak or fish. Prescott's historic downtown is something you won't want to miss also.
The space
A Peaceful Place #2 is our second Air BnB purchased last year and renovated extensively. This home was previous owned and loved on for over 50 years by the same family which leads to lots of character added over the years. We have updated most of it but have a few more projects to tackle in the next year. We wanted to be able to offer it to guests now as it's the perfect time of year to visit beautiful Prescott!

Our home is 2000 sq feet with a very large great room which includes the dining room, family room, kitchen and sunroom. We have 3 bedrooms which sleep 8 people and 2 bathrooms. Out back, there is a nice covered porch with table and chairs and a BBQ for your use. Out front, there is a little table you can enjoy your morning coffee and a cute little wishing well.

Our neighborhood is a very safe and quiet. We ask that NO parties or gatherings are thrown here or loud talking outside after 10pm to be respectful to the neighbors. Our neighbors will inform us if the appearance of a party/gathering is happening!

Pets: We do allow dogs in this house but ask that if you leave the home that your dog is in the crate that we provide in the laundry room. The backyard is fenced to keep your dogs safe but there are critters that roam the area so we suggest never letting them out at dusk/dark unattended. Please do not let dogs on furniture and also clean up their mess outside before checking out. If excess hair/mess is on furniture, beds, etc we will send a request for additional funds to cover extra time in cleaning fees.

Living a healthy life is important to us so we clean with organic non-toxic cleaners and hope that you appreciate that. We also do not allow smoking in the house or on the property... this is a NON-SMOKING property.

Lovely Getaway!

Our weekend away was so much fun. We played games, took walks, played outside and watched movies. We enjoyed the little town feel of Prescott while we had a big city departure. The home was lovely, super clean and really comfortable. Communication with Stacy was impressive. We will definitely come back and refer others!

Perfect Prescott Home

We stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving and had an incredible time. The home was cozy, super clean, and we had all the necessities that we needed. The hosts were attentive and made sure we had all of our needs met. I spent many days researching homes in the Prescott area looking for just the right one for our family and our Thanksgiving holiday. I read many reviews, and this one checked all my boxes. I feel like I hit the jackpot! If we ever return back to Prescott, I will definitely stay here again. :)

Peaceful Place

We enjoyed our stay so much! This place is better than described. It is incredibly clean and so private and peaceful. There are no strong smells from chemicals at all. That was very important to us. We had our 2 pups with us and the large yard was completely fenced. We could sit outside and enjoy while the dogs explored and enjoyed as well. The home is only a few miles from groceries and whiskey row and yet it feels much further out. The beds were comfortable, the furniture was comfortable, and it is decorated so pretty. There was a great tea, selection, and some coffee and snacks! That was so nice and unexpected! We would love to stay here again next time we visit Prescott we will be back!

Charming Clean Home and Accommodating Caring Host!

When you walked through the door, this vacation rental was a welcoming 'WOW FACTOR.' It is as if the owners lived there with the finer things in life, from lovely dinnerware to tastefully decorated decor, sturdy furniture, comfortable linen, and fully stocked essentials, then vacated to 'pay it forward' for others to take pleasure in. It is immaculate and newly renovated, without harsh chemical smells. In-person, this place is surprisingly spacious and has a vast open floor plan, with much natural lighting and a decent size for more guests. Each bedroom (of which there were three) was very attractive, totaling five beds, and the backyard was completely fenced off for your four-legged friends—our two dogs royally enjoyed themselves. I'd bring a portable ramp or elevated support for short-legged pets getting in & out of the sliding doors, maybe less than a foot ledge to clear, leading to the outdoors. The yard had a cute tree with a feeder that brought many birds, including dozens of small finches. It was such a nice touch. The sunroom, with a small bistro table, had little heaters at the base of your feet. Everything was extraordinary, excellent by design, and genuinely felt like a vacation. I also appreciated the new kitchen sponge. You'd be surprised how some stays do not supply the bare essentials of TP, paper towels, and dish soap, but this place had it all: top-notch, good quality, and non-toxic. I highly recommend & a very kind, professional A+ rated host! Thank you!

What a fabulous home! The renovations are fabulous and it is just a relaxing wonderful place to be. The home is clean and very well stocked!!!!! Thank you for all the attention to detail. The back yard is a dream. And the foosball table was a hit!!!! We would LOVE to come back again.

Relaxing, peaceful get-away!

Very peaceful and quiet. Lovely Arizona room to enjoy morning, noon and night. Accommodations wonderful and the cleanliness excels…especially that the owners use non toxic products (very much appreciated) Very close to everything so didnt have to spend much time driving. Will return.

Perfect Prescott gathering

A small group of us went to Prescott to enjoy the 36th annual cowboy poet gathering. It was wonderful! The highlight of our trip though was the lovely home we rented. We can’t say enough good things about the house. It was clean, very comfortable and the attention to small details and amenities was really appreciated! This is one of our favorite places we have stayed.

Clean & Comfortable

This home was super clean and comfortable! It was under 5 mins to downtown Prescott. We enjoyed having our family from Phoenix meet us up here for a mini vacation together under one roof. Everyone had their own space. Great communication with the owner. Easy check in/check out. Fenced backyard for the dog. Nice, safe neighborhood for walking. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Perfect Proximity

We moved to Prescott two years ago. Gathering extended family here has already become a Christmas tradition. It's five minutes from downtown and to our own home here as well. This home near Thumb Butte is spacious, spotless, and thoroughly updated. Five-Star all the way.

Amazing Stay

One of the nicest VRBO's we have rented. Gorgeous, clean and updated home very close to downtown Prescott. Very comfortable home and loved our stay. Appreciated all the "extra's" - snacks, coffee and the gift card to a local coffee shop was such an extra special treat! Hope to be back soon!!

Hi there... I am Stacy, wife, mother and Nana to one. I run our rentals and we've been married for over 31 years! We just recently left California to be closer to family and to prepare for retirement from the fire dept. We enjoy the outdoors, hiking, boating, kayaking, etc.

We wanted to purchase our second rental in Prescott to spend more time visiting family and enjoying all that Prescott offers. Then a few months into owning this, we actually packed up our lives in CA and moved to Prescott full-time! This neighborhood is a highly desired area and I knew this home had great bones. We spent 10 months renovating almost the entire home...definitely a labor of love as I LOVE the way it came out!
