Experience the ultimate mountain getaway at our 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath luxury cabin in Panguitch Lake, Utah. Surrounded by aspen and pine trees, this family-friendly cabin offers tranquility and serenity in a peaceful rural location.

The cabin features a variety of sleeping arrangements to accommodate up to 10 guests, including a king size bed in the master bedroom, a full over full bunk bed in the bunk room, and two twin beds in the twin room (which can be bridged into a 2nd king bed upon request) as well as 2 twin sofa beds in the loft. The cabin also includes 2 large streaming televisions and a BBQ grill for your enjoyment

Relax on the covered deck or inside by the cozy fireplace/wood stove, and take in the beautiful views. The cabin is professionally decorated and offers a variety of amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, including a fully-stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a children's play area.

The cabin's location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, as it is just 16 miles from Cedar Breaks National Monument, 17 miles from downtown Panguitch, and less than an hour's drive from Bryce Canyon National Park. Panguitch Lake offers year-round activities including trout fishing and ice fishing, snowshoeing, and ATV and boat rentals. During the winter months, skiing is available at Brian Head ski resort, just 20 miles away.

She brought her extensive knowledge through years of training on customer safety to this business. The staff at My 2nd Home, LLC is always putting our guest's safety at the top of the list of priorities. We start by providing professionally laundered linens through American Linen Supply Company (ALSCO). This assures your sheets, towels, bathmats, etc. have been cleaned using commercial machines with boilers and commercial grade cleaners which kill more germs than a home washer/dryer can do. We also make sure every surface of the home is wiped down with commercial cleaners with bleach, paying special attention to items such as remote controls, doorknobs, cupboard handles, and anything within the home which are touched by hands on a regular basis. We provide single use products rather than large bottles of shampoos, soaps, etc. which have been used by previous guests. Our goal is for our guests to have a safe, enjoyable time staying at a My 2nd Home property, knowing that the home they are staying in has been cared for and cleaned by the best in the business.

Great Cabin Experience
We really enjoyed our stay. It was a bit further from the Brian Head Ski Resort than we anticipated but we loved our stay. Beautiful location and the kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

Log cabin between Zion and Bryce National Parks
There are motion activated lights on the stairs but do not work. Slipped a few times at night. Also, the smoke alarm chirped our entire visit. Other than those issues, the property is lovely and spacious.

Great cabin, beautiful location
My family really enjoyed our stay in this cabin! There is plenty of room to spread out, lots of seating for everyone including three tables to dine at and a porch swing to enjoy the cool morning and evening mountain air. We loved that the location is off the main road and feels more private than many of the other cabins. The kitchen was equipped with a good array of cooking ware, mixing bowls, a griddle, etc. I would suggest including more kitchen towels and some disinfectant spray for cleaning countertops, as well as extra garbage bags (only one was supplied - luckily we had brought more) and maybe at least a couple laundry detergent pods (there was only one). We also ended up buying liquid hand soap as we didn't care for the mini hotel-sized bars that were supplied. There were no sheets or bedding provided for the pullout couch beds so we had to remove some of the bedding from the bunk beds to share with our family members who slept on the pullouts. The description for the cabin is incorrect where it states that there is air conditioning. It was very warm when we arrived and when we called the management company to ask how to turn on the ac, they told us the listing was wrong and there is no ac. The upstairs rooms got especially warm and we ended up buying some oscillating room fans to try to help cool things off. That sounds like a lot of complaining but we did have a very enjoyable time and really liked the cabin. Just wanted to point out those few drawbacks that could be easily fixed or to help future guests know what to expect.

This was a nice cabin, located a bit off the main road on a quiet, peaceful street. We loved the cute little stream just down the road as well as the close vicinity of the cabin to the lake. We enjoyed chatting in the porch swing and eating meals on the outdoor table. And the huckleberry shakes at the nearby Burger Barn are to die for! The cabin was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating for everyone. There are a few things that should be noted for future guests. We have stayed at cabins and condos in Brian Head and Panguitch Lake for over 20 years, and this cabin had the least amount of essential supplies compared with all the others we've stayed in. There was only one extra garbage bag, the hand soaps, lotions, and shampoos were the cheap mini hotel bar type (we bought liquid hand soaps and used those instead), and there was only one clothes detergent pod. There was also only one kitchen towel and no disinfecting spray to clean countertops. Also, there was no bedding provided for the pullout beds so we had to take sheets and blankets from other beds to use on those. The list of amenities is wrong in stating that the cabin has air conditioning. It was pretty hot when we arrived and some of our family members are especially sensitive to overly warm temperatures - which is one of the reasons we selected this cabin with its advertisement of air conditioning. We ended up going to Panguitch and buying an oscillating fan to help cool things off a bit. In spite of those few things, we really enjoyed this cabin and spending time in this beautiful area!

Wonderful rental. Very nice to come home to and relax on the front porch. Communication is very good with the owner and the listing is accurate. Very nice home. Duck Creek is a great place for a side by side rental with wonderful views/hikes along the way. The town has a very good restaurant at Panguitch lake Resort--same people that own the Burger Bardn (which is also good). Good steak and service.

This cabin is very nice and was spot on with the description very clean when we arrived had essentials needed for our stay. Nice cabin but far from nearest town (Panguitch, Utah). and tourist attractions.Wanted to bring to management or owner a few safety issues we noticed. The residence is exactly as described. The interior is spotless, everything one would need is present. Plenty of room for comfort and beds were comfortable. Only issue is the surrounding property needed a little upkeeping. Probably from the spring growth. The outdoor Bar BQ had plenty of propane. Thank you and I will recommend to others who vacation there.

No toiletry items, no dishwasher( which is understandable be because of septic system ) but property manager did not know. Local tv was not available without a code other netfix used personal id. Ty and Pam owned timeshares, and Pam was the general manager of a Wyndham timeshare resort while Ty owned and operated multiple quick lubes. But years ago they realized their timeshare quarterly fees just kept growing while usage of their timeshare kept shrinking due to the fact that the timeshares were rarely located in places they needed to travel for family events, etc. They hated using hotels/motels after being spoiled with the comforts of a timeshare, so they searched for a better option and started using marketing sites such as Airbnb and VRBO to rent vacation rentals. They soon discovered they could have the quality of a time share in locations wherever they needed, and not have to pay quarterly dues! So they sold their time shares, and over time, when it was time for Pam to take on a more regional role within the resort she managed, she decided she did not want to live the next several years in airports and cities nationwide with grandchildren close to home, so she and Ty decided to start their own business managing vacation rentals.

With Pam's experience in hospitality, the business has grown in leaps and bounds. They soon discovered that most vacation rental management companies come from a real estate background and have no knowledge of what it takes to operate a hospitality business. Pam knows that regulations to the vacation rental business are coming soon, so she insists on being ahead of the curve. This is why they have contracted with ALSCO for professionally leased and laundered linens. While most vacation rentals rely on their in-home washers and dryers, Pam knows from her training that only commercial washers reach temperatures hot enough to kill bacterias which can be brought into a rental home from guests traveling from anywhere in the world. Ty and Pam also discovered other management companies as well as personally managed properties allow various cleaning chemicals to be stored under cupboards or closets where children can easily reach, leaving the property owner with an unecessary liability. As they began to manage homes which had previously been managed by other nightly rental management companies, they realized quickly that very few management companies had preventative maintenance programs in place, which Pam knows the importance of, to ensure the best condition of the property. Pam says, "Each property must have a baseline of cleanliness that must be brought back to after each guest stay. Straying from that baseline can cause long-term issues with a home that is unacceptable in hospitality standards and expectations."

Another concern Pam had was noticing that property management companies, as well as private managed homes, used either keys, (which can be easily copied) were stored in lock boxes with combinations which were rarely, if ever, changed. Or they were using inexpensive keypads which were also rarely changed. She knew there needed to be a better way to secure a property. So with a little investigation they discovered that WiFi locks were the latest technological advancement in the vacation rental industry and she insisted we needed to provide these locks for the properties we managed so we could ensure a new code for each guest which would activate at their arrival date at a specific time, and deactivate on the day of their departure, also at a specific time. Each vendor would also receive their own expireable code so that nobody could enter the property without her knowledge, thereby securing the property better than a key or cheap keypad lock ever could.

Pam's wealth of knowledge she has from her professional training, traveling to Seattle, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, and countless more places over her years as a manager for Wyndham is priceless for property owners and guests alike. She brings a unique set of skills to the industry of vacation rentals which can be a great asset for a property owner wanting the best results from their 2nd Home.
