Oceanfront Villa - 2 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths

Just steps from the beach, this is the perfect 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath, oceanfront villa (approximately 1300 sq ft). Located at the center of the island, Captain John Fripp Villa #410 offers beautiful views of the 3.5 mile length of Fripp Island beach.

As part of Phase II in the Captain John Fripp Villas community, this unit offers a pool for use by guests in this section only. Private parking spaces are conveniently located behind the building. There are NO amenity cards with this villa; therefore, renters cannot purchase them.

Completely remodeled 2022, this two level, 2nd/3rd floor, island villa is kept up-to-date to ensure guests are comfortable and can relax during their stay. A fully-equipped kitchen provides guests the opportunity to dine at home (new st

and then relax in the evening on the oceanfront balcony or stroll along the beach. The fa

Sleeping arrangements include one king-size bed in the master bedroom plus one queen and one twin bed in the 2nd bedroom. There is a queen self-inflatable air mattress for an additional two people. Maximum occupancy is seven.

Fripp Island, a gated community, is a wildlife preserve that is 19 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina and an easy trip to Hilton Head Island, Savannah and Charleston. There are several challenging golf courses around Beaufort plus wonderful dining in town - expanding every year. The Island itself offers a long beach that is seldom crowded so there is plenty of room to spread out the family beach blanket to enjoy the surf and sun.

This is a great island for biking as there are bike paths and little traffic so bring your bikes and explore while enjoying the wildlife -you are sure to see deer. Fripp has everything you need for a safe, family holiday away from home. Come see for yourself!

Great unit to enjoy beautiful Fripp!

Our family lives the Beaufort and Fripp Island area, and this unit served as a perfect spqce to stay for our quick weekend trip! You cant beat the location and view (ocean front!) on Fripp, the space was clearly recently updated and the kitchen amd other areas were well stocked, and Danna (your host) was friendly, responsive, and eager to help make our stay pleasant. We would stay here again!

Beach Vacation

Accommodations were excellent! We loved the natural environment - very peaceful. Though a resort atmosphere, we loved that this was not a commercialized place; basics were available, but the overall goal was to unplug from civilization. This place met that objective.

Home away from home

Absolutely gorgeous home, with everything we needed for our short stay. Pool and beach access at end of unit, family friendly environment, and comfortable beds and seating. Owners were responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure our stay met our expectations. If you need somewhere to relax, have quality family time and connect with nature, this is an excellent place to do so.

Fripp is our favorite

This was our fourth stay at this villa. It is super clean and has everything you would need. Sitting on the oceanfront deck is wonderful. We loved seeing all the deer. The beach is within walking distance and is beautiful. Very peaceful. My eight year old granddaughter loved the pool. The owner is easy to work with and will respond to any issues. Another great stay!

Great location but could use improvement

The owners were great to work with when booking and location was nice but the villa needs attention as far as overall cleanliness and condition. Carpeting and furniture were very worn and need updating and sofa showed visible signs of being dirty. We had problems with no WiFi and owner asked us to call ourselves to try to correct with internet provider. After no luck and several calls from myself and the owner the problem was fixed half way through our stay. Grill that was advertised was not accessible and pushed behind several rusty beach chairs in a storage area outside the unit. Bathroom door hinges were very rusty and needed to be replaced. Overall the unit was acceptable but we would not stay again.

This renter was completely unprofessional, their unit was disgusting, and their listing was false. Prior to ever arriving, simple questions were asked in which the renter came across as very erratic and unstable as she complained about previous renters instead of just answering our simple questions. We asked for a picture of the port a crib to know if it would be suitable for our 1 year old. We never received the picture. Unfortunately, we did not ask about the booster seat or baby monitor that were listed as amenities as those are pretty straightforward items and would suffice regardless....as long as they were in the unit which they were not. Nor was the air mattress that was listed as an amenity. This made our trip very cumbersome as we were not able to stabilize our child while feeding her each day, nor were we able to monitor her during naps which made our time unenjoyable as we were constantly having to check on her. Furthermore, the unit itself was disgusting. The carpets were filthy, trash left underneath the ottoman and sofa which of course our baby found quite quickly. A disgusting, soiled t shirt was found again by our daughter behind the chair in a bedroom and a pair of woman's underwear were found in the dresser. My wife was absolutely disgusted. The renter then had the nerve to accost me once we departed when we did everything we could to leave the unit in better condition than when we arrived. Do yourself a favor and find a different rental. Absolute nightmare!

Lovely unit

It is not at all like a rental, more like staying at a friend's beach condo. Recently completely updated interior, good appliances, beautifully decorated with modern taste and not too much "stuff"! This unit is so much nicer than the typical real estate company managed units that we have stayed in before at this same location and no more expensive.

Amazing beachfront property

There is not one thing that I would change about this place! The interiors were beautifully decorated in a coastal vibe with attention to detail and comfort. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and would love to stay here again. The kitchen is well stocked for those who prefer to cook. Such a peaceful and tranquil place to stay and the view of the beach was gorgeous. I witnessed many beautiful sunrises over the course of the week. This property is the best VRBO that I've found and we'll visit again.

The owner was super helpful, responsive and accommodating. The property was updated and very comfortable, great beach feel. There are stairs which I missed in the description so prepare if you have a baby like we do! Great downstairs storage for beach stuff and very EASY access, awesome view!

Girls weekend

The property was very nice. The only negative thing was this unit does not come with an amenity card. This means you cannot eat at any of the restaurants or food court. You can not rent golf carts or any extra curricular activities. We had to drive 18 miles to go eat. If I had known this in advance I would not have rented. We managed without it. It really is a very nice unit great beach access. Would stay here again but will be better prepared.

We Love Fripp

Overall, we had a wonderful time. Had an issue getting through the front gate but it did get worked out within about an hour. Condo has recently been remodeled and looks great. It's furnished nicely, up to date appliances etc.. Master bed was nice and comfy. The ac vent in the master bed however, rattles something crazy while running. Had to just turn it off. Master shower, best one so far out of the places we have stayed. Beautiful oceanfront view. Easy access to the beach. Enjoyed eating out on the balcony. Loved seeing all the deer. Renting a golf cart is a must. We will definitely be back!

Our 2nd./3rd. Floor unit had a gorgeous view of the ocean & was spotlessly clean. Brand new appliances were also immaculately clean & the kitchen had every necessity. The owner was very accommodating & available to answer questions & concerns. Apparently this unit is going to be remodeled & made even better. I could tell the owner loves this wonderful property. We had a lovely, relaxing, quiet Thanksgiving and we’re thrilled with our 1st. “ Frippin it” experience. Oh my how beautiful the sunsets are at the south end of the island & we thoroughly enjoyed tooling around on the golf cart that we rented.

This was our first time here. It will not be our last. This villa was very clean. Beautiful oceanfront view. Very close to the ocean. Loved seeing all the deer. Quiet and peaceful. Owner was great to work with. Can not wait to come back!

Peaceful retreat

Wonderful Stay

We have rented this unit several times and always had an amazing Fripp getaway here. It is comfortable, clean, and has all amenities that we need. We will miss renting from the current owner but hope the new owner will rent.
