Casa Luna - Lake Huron Beachfront Vacation Rental - (3 beds/2 bath)

Welcome to Casa Luna Beach House! This property is located on the "Gold Coast" of Lake Huron with 50 feet of sugar sand beach for guests to enjoy (a 1 acre partially wooded lot as well).

The entire beach house has been completely updated and renovated, including new granite counter-tops in the kitchen and master bathroom, new plumbing, electrical, insulation, flooring, painting, drywall, new windows, doors, lighting, city water, new septic system, new furnace and central A/C. Further, all the furnishings are BRAND NEW – new beds (mattresses and box springs), new linens, new couches, and new table and chairs.

The newly updated kitchen is fully stocked with all new kitchen items, glasses, dishes, pots, pans, and accessories. The lake side deck has a new table and chairs.

The lot is deep allowing a quiet peaceful area to enjoy Lake Huron. Ample towels are provided. The utility room has a full size washer and dryer. High speed WIFI and cable is provided on a brand new smart TV.

The sugar sand beach is absolutely breathtaking, especially with the woods, fire pit, and beach house in the back drop. The lake gently pitches down so children have plenty of area to play before it gets too deep. It also has amazing frozen lake views in the winter.

The beach house is located in between tourist hotspots of East Tawas and Oscoda (just off US 23). The area is filled with restaurants and fun activities.

This is OUR home away from home and we would be delighted for you to stay (and treat it) like YOUR beach house. And why do we call it Casa Luna Beach House? Neither words nor pictures can truly explain it. Just wait until night time when the moon hits the water…

Casa Luna Dream

Thank you Ivonne and Bernie for wonderful hospitality at Casa Luna. Very, very clean and well kept! Beautifully decorated. Comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked, laundry room was well stocked and bathrooms had plenty of towels. Lots of beach towels too! Awesome view. Communication was great. 10/10 overall experience and would love to come back some day.

The cottage was clean with pleasant transitional decor and thoughtful touches (fresh coffee, laundry soap) for guests. The weather was much to be desired during our stay but was the perfect place to relax.

Perfect Family beach getaway

Great little beach getaway for our family! Loved the beach chairs and sand toys. Plenty of towels and every slept great! We made almost all our meals, the only thing that would suggest that would of made our stay easier would be a crockpot! We loved the recommendation of the Hilltop bar for dinner! Great priced, yummy hidden gem on the rainy day. Would recommend a trip to Sturgon Point Light House while you visit too!

Gorgeous everything

Everything about this house is incredible. The views are amazing, the beds are comfortable, the house is so clean, the owners are easy to communicate with and clearly care about their guests and property. We have already discussed coming back next year. I cannot believe how clean and clear the lake is at this beach. We have gone to different Michigan beach houses for 5 years and this is definitely the best beach & best house we have stayed at.

Loved our short stay at Casa Luna . Wonderful beach and water views . The home is very comfortable and nicely decorated. My husband and I stay in vacation rentals a lot , this one is by far the most stocked rental I have ever been in . We always bring supplies with us but this home had everything you will need and then some . We appreciated all the information of where to eat and things to do .if you stay here you will love everything about this home . Beautiful Sandy beach , great water views , nice fire pit . Excellent location.

Better than a hotel by far

Here on business but couldn’t find a decent hotel. Book the property and was very pleasantly surprised. Very clean and updated. View of the lack was amazing even in winter. It was nice to cook in the kitchen. Plenty of space in the house.

Lovely location

House was just as pictured. Beach access was unbeatable and walks along it any time of day were incomparable. Owner was extremely, quickly, responsive and helpful. Beds, pillows, furnishings all lovely. Only advice to give would be an actual property sign. We arrived in the dark and missed the driveway twice despite very specific directions. Would stay again.

Friends Getaway

This property was amazing! The home was clean and nicely decorated with a great view of Lake Huron. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied with all our needs. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, having bonfires and walking by the water. Great sunrises and relaxing sounds of the waves. We even spotted an eagle in a tree near the fire pit. Ivonne was wonderful to work with before and during our stay. She gave suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. Whenever we had a question during our stay, she answered immediately and helped with our requests. We definitely will be returning to this home for future vacations! Beautiful home, lovely view, nice owners, only a couple little changes .

I would give this a 4.5 if it were available. I Would certainly return To this wonderful cabin If it were disability friendly . Specifically, Support handles by Step to doors, or strong railing. Also new higher sitting commode. In the master bedroom. The current one was very short and loose. Since 4.5 available, giving 5 because it was a 5 in every other way including being well stocked. Inside Perfect coma there was an issue with Path to the beach having many little Mini Picky tumbleweeds. Other than that the outdoors was fine too. S

Hola everyone! My name is Ivonne. Our family recently purchased this beach house to enjoy with our family and friends for years to come. The lake views and sugar sand closed the deal for us. I am originally from Puerto Rico and the sugar sand beach and views in the summer reminds me of the hidden beaches in Puerto Rico...but in Michigan! We are so excited to share our dream beach house with you and hope to build a small family of repeat visitors who love it just as much as we do!
