Comfortable and convenient

A comfortable, spotless and well equipped place to stay. Just a few minutes from north Nanaimo and a short walk from a lovely beach with great views to Maude Island and the mainland.

clean and modern

We enjoyed our stay at the Purple door. It was spacious, clean and convenient. The hosts were prompt in replying to our booking and our questions. It's quite modern -- lots of remote controls and modern decor. That suits many people looking for a cabin that has the mod cons.

Perfect couples getaway

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at the purple door. We stayed for 8 nights and the location was perfect for us to go to Nanaimo, Coombs, Parksville, etc…Tim and Wanda have a very nice, clean, and quiet place. This is a very nice place. Nothing could be better. It has a sky light which we enjoyed. Its just like the listing shows. We were there a month, so we know the place well. The hosts are great people also.

Modern and exceptionally clean

Beautifully modern and incredibly clean property. Great check in process with wonderful hosts. Property located in a wonderful area to easily access and explore many different beaches, towns and hiking trails. Best vrbo experience yet!

The purple door vrbo was the best vrbo experience yet for our many travels around Canada. The Cullen family were very welcoming and the unit was very very comfortable with all the latest home and tech features. We plan on booking it for visiting family and friends to the island, especially to take them to the close by Lantzville beach. A true winning location and home away from home!

Relaxing, Peaceful But Modern and Close to Everything

This modern little cottage was everything we needed for our stay. Husband was having hip surgery and it was the perfect recovery spot as we don’t live in Nanaimo. Tim and Wanda were very helpful and the surroundings were peaceful and quiet but easy to zip out for groceries etc. Would definitely recommend.
