Das CASA TUCAN ist eine von elf Suiten in der charakteristischen Wohnanlage Villa Blanca, die vom mexikanischen Architekten Diego Mendez De La Penas für ihr organisches Design bekannt ist. Die Villa Blanca, die auch als "Piano Building" oder "Vallartas Hochzeitstorte" bekannt ist, ist eines der architektonisch markantesten Gebäude in Puerto Vallarta.

Jede Einheit in der Villa Blanca befindet sich in Privatbesitz und das Gebäude wird von einem freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Manager betreut, der fließend Englisch spricht. Der Reinigungsservice ist im Preis inbegriffen und von Montag bis Samstag verfügbar. Ein Wachmann ist nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit anwesend.

CASA TUCAN ist ein luxuriöses geräumiges (mehr als 850 qm!) TRUE 1-BR, 2-Bath Suite, perfekt für Kurz- oder Langzeitmieten! Ruhig gelegen, abseits der öffentlichen Bereiche.

Das Gerät verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche (ohne Backofen), einen Essbereich, LR mit 2 großen Sofas (jeweils für 1 Erwachsenen), ein privates BR mit Kingsize-Bett und 2 Vollbäder mit großen gefliesten Duschen. Das CASA TUCAN ist ein lichtdurchfluteter privater Rückzugsort und verfügt über eine eigene PRIVATE TERRASSE / LANAI, die unter 1-BR und Studios in diesem Gebäude einzigartig ist.

Zu den weiteren Annehmlichkeiten gehört der schöne Kühlpool auf der Eingangsterrasse des Gebäudes, der eine willkommene Abwechslung vom herrlichen Sonnenschein der Vallartaner bietet. Die Dachterrasse ist ein Paradies für ruhige Sonnenuntergänge oder abendliche Zusammenkünfte und bietet einen spektakulären Panoramablick auf die Banderas Bay von Los Arcos bis in die Innenstadt von Puerto Vallarta. Auf der Dachterrasse erwarten Sie ein traditioneller mexikanischer Grill und eine Bar / Küchenbereich im Freien.

Für einen der schönsten Strände Vallartas überqueren Sie die kopfsteingepflasterte Amapas-Straße und Sie gelangen nach weniger als 100 Schritten zum wunderschönen Playa Los Muertos mit Sand, Brandung, Menschenbeobachtung und einer Vielzahl von Strandcafés, einschließlich der berühmten Blue Chairs Strand.

Das CASA TUCAN liegt zentral in der Zona Romantica und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von allem entfernt, was die Altstadt und Olas Altas zu bieten haben, von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten über Clubs bis hin zu gehobenen Restaurants. Nur wenige Minuten südlich von Casa Tucan liegen zahlreiche kleine, abgelegene Strände. Die Gegend ist reich an reizvollen Ausflugszielen, die von lokaler Farbe und Kultur geprägt sind. Great Value In Prime Location!

Stayed 10 days for a solo getaway at Casa Tucan. A small condo building with lots of character. Daniel's place was comfortable and fully stocked with everything needed to be self sufficient. AC was good when needed. The staff were super friendly and helpful whenever needed. Noise was a bit of an issue 9-5 weekdays due to a couple construction projects not far away. Nothing the owner can do and should resolve soon. The price reflects a good value for a good place to stay. 5 stars based on value, staff, and location!

Great Visit Again

This was our third visit at Villa Blanca and it is just as lovely this time as it was the first time. What is fantastic is the green tropical foliage outside the balcony that attracts all sorts of birds and their songs as well as a cheeky squirrel that uses the power line as his personal highway! Thanks Rob and Dan for yet another great visit.

what a great place

What a great place , who ever decorated it has great taste. The building is gorgeous I just could not put my finger on who designed it but very art deco. close enough to the beach and far enough away the noise from the festivities dont keep you awake. The only drawback was the air-conditioned did not work but I found out I did not really need it so I did not bother . I just left the windows open while I was there and enjoyed the breeze. The balcony a great place to sit and enjoy music and drink my coffee in the mornings. The people were so nice its definatly on my go back to visit list.

Perfect location (literally) steps from the beach!

This is a charming condo with two good-sized rooms: one a living/dining room with kitchen and the other is a large bedroom with a sitting area and a desk. It overlooks a jungle Greenbelt/pathway area outside of the opening woodframe windows. It has all the amenities: fully stocked kitchen, Air conditioning, a couple ceiling fans, plenty of towels, and comes with daily maid service. Check in was super easy and efficient. The owners were extremely communicative and helpful. The stairs are a one minute straight shot to the beach, but if you don’t want to walk up them you can walk a block to the north and just walk on the streets, with a slighter incline. Strongly recommend Casa Tucan!

I had a great experience renting casa Tucan the condo is in a great location and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to stay in the romantics zone to stay at this location.

Artsy Condo with Rural Feel in City....many steps!

Our little unit in Villa Blanca was very comfortable with easy access to activities in Zona Romantica....if you are healthy and fine with steps and hills. The beach is across the road and about 100 steps down between buildings. We loved being able to leave windows open or sit on out little deck, with the greenery providing privacy. ( PS We were not aware that the last week of January is a crazy festival for gay men. Not a concern for us but might be for some folks). Appreciated all the local info provided.

No Bad Days

I very much enjoyed my stay and will return. The condo is exactly as advertised (except it may be better). If you can negotiate steps this condo is perfect - If steps are a problem this unit is not for you. (I'm 70 and had no problem.) Three flights of steps are required to get to the unit The unit is approximately 100 feet from the beach - but this requires 97 steps or you can walk 4 blocks and then arrive at the beach. In my opinion this is the area to stay, as it is quiet, a relatively easy walk to shops, restaurants the Mecado, Bus Stops etc.

Great stay in vallarta

Condo had everything we needed. Did not like that the curtains did not go all the way across in bedroom but we rigged something up. Also AC kept leaking told property several times for maintenance. Also bed is really really hard compared to other properties I have stayed at in old town. For the property price should have a better sleeping bed. Overall I love Vallarta and this property was perfect location one more thing when buying groceries be prepared to haul them up 45 steps. If Jose or Chuy around you can have them help and tip them. Again just suggestions for property I did love the building condo and location ..also the owners were quick to respond when I messaged them. I would stay here again.

This was a lovely apartment, very clean and with extremely friendly staff/neighbours. 3 minutes to the beach, shops... everything you would want. You will not be disappointed.

Second Visit Just as Charming

We had another wonderful stay at Casa Tucan. The property manager, Jose Luis, and the house keeping staff were very friendly and welcoming. This trip we ended up eating at home more. There is a great little store in town called Mikey’s that have a great selection of cooked foods and cold salads which made for a lovely meal in. We also were able to enjoy the Saturday Market where there is a woman who sells her home-made tamales. Amazing!! With all the changes that are happening to Puerto Vallarta, it’s nice that there are still some familiar spots and we look forward to staying at Casa Tucan again next year. Thank you Rob and Daniel!

Unique architectural charmer on Amapas

Comfortable 1 bedroom apartment with 2 full bathrooms, functional kitchen with all amenities and a small balcony suitable for dining. Staff are very kind and helpful. Like everywhere in PV, music and construction are prevalent; must be able to climb stairs. Views of lush greenery and ocean view from the roof deck. If you are a late sleeper, you may want to bring a mask. Enjoy.

Perfect Old Town Accomodation

If you want an accomodation that gives you convenience of beach, restaurants, and shopping all within walking distance, this is where you are looking for. Take in mind there are hills in the said walking distance, but consider that to be a free work out. This is a charming older building that has really interesting architecture and amazing foliage outside the little patio. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen has all the amenities that you could want. The apartment is perfect. The negative reviews below are more than likely some one else’s over expectation of what Mexico should be like. You’re wanting to stay in old town, not an all-inclusive in Nuevo. Take all the reviews in mind like we did and you will have an awesome time in the Zona Romantica at Casa Tucan. Many thanks to our hosts, Rob and Daniel, we hope to stay with you again.

PV classic

This is a great little unit in a classic Vallarta building. Photos are very accurate of the unit. While not high-tech and polished, perfectly functional and everything worked, VERY comfortable for two people. You can tell the owners have actually spent time in the unit because of the niceties you don't always get in a rental -- collection of books and cds; in addition to basic dishware things like a pitcher, cheese grater, lime squeezer in kitchen; hangers in closet; bedside reading lamps (on BOTH sides of bed). I believe this is the only one-bedroom side unit that has a balcony which was really nice. The bed was comfortable, very firm but that is WAY better than a saggy worn out mattress. As has been said, Jose Luis and the housekeeper Angelina do a great job taking care of the building and renters. There is noise from nearby construction projects, but this is the current case anywhere in Romantica, Amapas, and much of Conchas Chinas, there is really no way around it. The only thing I would have liked was better curtain coverage of the bedroom window -- not for privacy, as people cannot really see in, but to darken the room to sleep late if you wanted. Overall, we would return in a heartbeat.
