The Hayloft - A Country Chic Barn Loft

The Hayloft is a newly built & unique space for those who want to enjoy a peaceful work space or a relaxed stay in the country. We offer a fully-equipped 850 sq/ft Loft above our Barn, nestled on 11 quiet acres with a fishing pond, tree farm, fruit orchard and woodsy creek.

Guests will enjoy the open concept with a full-kitchen, comfortable couch with Cable TV, jetted-tub in the bathroom, a King poster bed, and plenty of storage. Best of all, you will love the private deck which overlooks a small horse farm with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.

Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the HayLoft is a rural, yet convenient, location with picturesque Lake Robinson only a mile away for additional fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and picnicking.

Wanting a place to stay close to the foothills, close to Greenville and that's peaceful. Well you've found it. The pictures don't do it justice. You can watch sunrise and sunset on the Farm. Sit out on the deck & listen to the birds and horses. The bed was comfortable and place was clean and comfortable. I arrived and had instructions on everything I needed. Coffee, select teas and condiments provided. A Guidebook of local eateries, attractions and more is provided in the Living Room. If you need to grab a picnic lunch or fuel up before your day’s adventures begin, there are two grocery stores/gas stations located just a couple of miles down the road. Ingles and Walmart are only 10-15 minutes away.

Whether here on business or vacation, you will enjoy what our area has to offer. Feel free to walk the property, fish the pond (catfish, brim, bass, perch) or enjoy the wildlife – turkey, deer, chipmunks, and hawks.

Anniversary stay at the Hayloft

Perfection❣️ This place was the best place we’ve ever stayed. It was perfectly located to Greenville and all the beautiful attractions surrounding it. The place was immaculate and the people who owned it were very kind and hospitable. I would definitely recommend it!

Clean, comfortable, and picturesque

The hosts are fascinating and friendly, also very accommodating. The hayloft was just as described and perfect for our stay. I enjoyed walking the property, sitting on the dock of the pond, fire in the fire pit by the horses, and watching basketball on the big screen tv. Perfect accommodations.

Beautiful country barn

I stayed at the hayloft when I came into town for a farrierry conference. Since I was by myself I wanted something close and secure. The hayloft was in a beautiful country home, clean and had everything you could need. I would love to visit again.

Wonderful! Peaceful and relaxing.

The barn loft is very clean and comfortable. The mattress is exceptionally comfortable. The property is beautiful, very serene and peaceful. I drank coffee on the porch deck in the mornings and watched the horses. Our host Dave was very accommodating during our stay. We'll definitely be back - this is our go to place now for biking on the swamp rabbit trail. One suggestion- not well stocked if you forget something like soap or shampoo. No kitchen spices, etc if you plan on cooking.

Respite at VRBO

My husband and I had just moved out of our house in TN that we have lived in for 30 years. Our new house was not ready and we needed a place to stay and de-stress from the move. This was exactly what we needed to return to a sense of normalcy. It was quiet and picturesque. After 2 days, we felt restored and ready to tackle the unpacking.

Literal perfection

We love finding little unique places to stay when we go out of town and this place did NOT disappoint. The drive there was beautiful. The property itself was beautiful. The loft was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfy. Dave & Kelly went above and beyond as hosts! The first night our TV wouldn’t work and Dave came over right away to try to help troubleshoot & he endured my husband talking about history for an hour! We couldn’t get the TV to work but when we got back the next afternoon the TV had been replaced. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer! We loved the area and will definitely be back and plan to stay here again! (Maybe when it’s cooler though! Lol)

The Hayloft is Perfect!!

We stayed in the Hayloft for 2 nights whilst working in the area. ‘hayloft’ is so misleading! The accommodation is new, clean and very comfortable. Totally modern facilities and so peaceful and quiet❤️. Surrounded by farmland and pastures, close to grocery and Lake Robinson, restaurants and hiking. Outside deck is in the treetops, perfect for sunsets and star gazing. Dave is a consulate host, he even gave us fresh veggies from his garden!

Best Anniversary Getaway

Such a neat place…so tranquil and peaceful. I love that I felt out in a rustic setting, but was still close to town. This rental was very clean and had what we needed. We will be back !

Red Barn Vacation

Four night stay in the Red Barn apartment was great. Lots of space and very nice kitchen and bath. The property was beautiful and we had horses along with wild turkeys outside our window. Close to Greenville, Taylor’s and Travelers Rest. Also had a nice deck to relax and enjoy. We will stay there again.

Great Escape

The HayLoft is a great place to escape to. It is a clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing place in the country. The property has wild life including turkeys and deer and horses on neighboring property. Scout the cat likes to visit and walk the property with you. His brother Tango will also stop by to say hello. The HayLoft is also conveniently located to downtown Greenville and to the NC Mountains to the North. Dave and Kellie were great hosts.

Our "go to" place to stay in the Greenville area

This was the second time we have stayed at this property. We enjoyed it every bit as much as we did the first go round. The owners are wonderful! They are super responsive with communication. We have a college-aged son in the area, and this is definitely our preferred spot to stay when we go to visit. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the back deck that has a view of the neighbor's horses. We also saw turkeys out early in the morning. The loft is super cute and very roomy. It has everything you need for a comfy stay! Thank you again Dave and Kelli for another great stay!!

Peaceful Country Setting

We loved The Hayloft! Pond, beautiful acres to walk around, and neighbor's horses to feed carrots & apples. What a quiet lovely setting! The loft was so clean and everything you need is there! We sure enjoyed our week hiking, biking and viewing waterfalls in the nearby areas of SC!!

House hunting trip

What an amazing serene place to come home to each evening after a frantic day of house hunting! and a lovely place to start the day with coffee on the porch watching the horses. Everything we needed - lovely kitchen and great setup. We could have stayed for another week!
