Sleeps 4 adults and 2 children. We are in a family neighborhood so we would like to host only four adults maximum, but please feel free to tell us about your group and we will be happy to discuss! Please also take the time to read the Good Neighbor Policy below before booking and don't hesitate to inquire with any questions.
We live 10 minutes away and are available anytime you need us, but we plan to leave you be to enjoy yourselves. We have contactless check-in with our keyless entry system.
The Highlands House is located in a quiet, family neighbored located in the heart of La Quinta:
- Walking to distance to Adams Park with playground and sand volleyball courts
- Less than a mile to Indian Wells Tennis Gardens
- 15 minutes to Empire Polo Grounds (Coachella & Stagecoach Festivals)
- Plenty of restaurants and grocery store options less than 2 miles away (including Sprouts, Target, Trader Joe's, and Vons)
- 3 Golf Courses within 2 mile radius, and over 40 more public golf courses in the surrounding areas
- Hiking trails: 15 minute drive
- Old Town La Quinta: 10 minutes
- Living Desert Zoo and El Paseo Shopping District: 15 minutes
- Palm Springs International Airport, Downtown Palm Springs, and Palm Springs Ariel Tramway: 30-35 minutes
- Joshua Tree National Park: 40 minutes
Please take note of Good Neighbor Policy/Noise Ordinance listed in the house rules. The neighbors on all three sides of the Highlands House live there full-time and some have small children.
You will have access to all parts of the home except the garage. There is plenty of parking on the driveway and immediately in front of the home.
Walking distance to Indian Wells Tennis Gardens (BNP Paribas Tennis Masters) and 15 minutes to Empire Polo Grounds (Coachella & Stagecoach)!
We are excited to share The Highlands House located in the heart of La Quinta, CA. The Highlands features a pool and heated spa, outdoor firepit, propane BBQ island, a six-seater patio dining set with an umbrella as well as an outdoor seating set with a three-person couch, two swivel club chairs, and a coffee table all shaded under a gazebo.
Inside, you will find three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, five flat-screen televisions, a billiards table with ping pong table topper, cornhole, an old school gamer console, and Pop-A-Shot indoor basketball game. All three bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the second level of the home. Each bedroom features a 50" flat-screen ROKU TV and the master bedroom has a private en-suite.
The kitchen is newly remodeled with state-of-the-art appliances including a new stainless-steel refrigerator with filtered water/ice, stainless-steel propane oven and stovetop, granite countertops, and a large single basin stainless steel kitchen sink with a spring pull-down faucet. The kitchen is well-equipped and well-stocked with all your cooking necessities: pots, pans, cooking utensils, basic oils, an array of spices, a roasting pan, waffle maker, and more. All you need to bring is food and yourselves! We also have a traditional coffee maker with coffee beans provided and a bean grinder. Right off of the kitchen is the laundry nook equipped with brand new, large-capacity washer and dryer and laundry soap provided to you.
The Highlands is a 1/2 Mile walk to Sunline Public Transit, and both Uber and Lyft are available in our area.
𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑵𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒃𝒐𝒓 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒚
We want you to have fun and enjoy, but this home is located in a quiet, family neighborhood and is best suited for small groups of friends or families. This is not the right choice for a party home. La Quinta Good Neighbor policies will be strictly enforced.
- 𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒄 is only allowed if kept to 𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒔 at all times. Please be very mindful of music levels at all times, especially outside, so as to not disturb our neighbors.
- Low levels mean the ability to speak over the music at normal volume without raising your voice, and no music should be heard by anyone (aka neighbors) beyond our property lines.
- Music must be turned off within quiet hours.
- 𝑵𝒐 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑵𝒐𝒊𝒔𝒆 at any time (music, yelling, pets barking, etc).
- Only 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒔 are allowed on the property at any given time. A limited number of additional visitors can come during the day with prior permission.
We have a 𝑵𝒐𝒊𝒔𝒆𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒍 𝑴𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓 that will alert us if high noise levels are sustained for a long period of time. NoiseAware does not record any noise, it only measures decibels so your privacy is maintained. We will add your phone number to the text message alerts of the decibel meter so that you can self-monitor noise levels. By booking with us, you are allowing us to add your phone number to our NoiseAware decibel meter alerts.
𝑵𝒐𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 can result in eviction from the property and $1,000-$5,000 fines. Guests will pay any and all fines for violations and refunds will not be issued for issues relating to noise violations. We trust that you will treat our home and neighborhood as if it were your own, but need to make these rules very clear so that your stay with us will be the relaxing vacation that it should be :)
Additional Fees:
- "Spoiled dog" Pet Fee (our cute way of saying please bring well-behaved pups) - $50 per dog
- Extra person charge (over 4) - $25 per person/day.
- Four adults maximum allowed. While the property can sleep six people, only four can be adults. Exceptions can made on case-by-case basis, please inquire.
- Spa heat is included at no additional charge, please use responsibly. Pool heat can be added for a $100 first day and $50 for the remaining days. Discount for pool heat fee may be available for your dates, please inquire. If booking during the summer months, the pool is naturally heated by our warm temperature so you will have "free" pool heat by the sunshine!
