Bayfront - North Mission Beach

Diese Bayfront-Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern ist der perfekte Ort, um den Mission Beach-Lifestyle in der wunderschönen Mission Bay zu leben. Der Pazifik ist weniger als eine Minute zu Fuß. Der geräumige Balkon im zweiten Stock bietet einen schönen Blick auf die Boote und das Wasser. Nutzen Sie den Grill, während Sie die Boote auf der Bucht segeln sehen, oder beobachten Sie den Sonnenaufgang über der Bucht mit Ihrem Morgenkaffee. Die Küche ist brandneu und viele andere Upgrades wurden erst im November 2011 abgeschlossen. Es gibt sowohl eine Treppe als auch einen Aufzug, so dass Sie Ihren Zugang zur Wohnung wählen können.

Mit einer Wohnfläche von fast 1.200 Quadratmetern ist genug Platz für ein oder zwei Familien, um den Urlaub zu genießen, den Sie verdienen. Der Belmont Park ist zehn Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und Sea World erreichen Sie in fünf Minuten mit dem Auto. Das angesagte Gaslamp District, die Innenstadt, der Petco Park und der Flughafen sind nur 10 bis 12 Autominuten entfernt, ebenso wie das luxuriöse La Jolla, in dem Filmstars, Künstler und eine große Familie von Robbenbabys leben.

Great location in Mission Beach

Convenient to the beach and restaurants, but facing the bay, which means much less wind. Second floor balcony is right over the walking/biking path, so lots of activity. Second bedroom has 3 separate beds, which is ideal for a larger family.

Wedding Weekend

The location was convenient to the venue and other family members staying in the area for the wedding. We did not spend a lot of time at the condo, but would note that there is road noise to the recreation center. The condo was clean, but as stated in other reviews - is in need of updates. There were broken/missing blinds, warped flooring, old shower heads and a musty smell throughout.

Amazing place and amenities

We were there for a wedding and multiple family events. It was the best vacation home we have ever stayed in. Clean and huge with so much space for all of us. The wedding venue was across the street and having a home base for all of us was perfect. I loved the added security of being on the second story with an elevator and code to access the condo. Also the parking was a lifesaver! David was great and when we arrived in town a few hours early he was so accommodating and we got to go right to the condo. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home, we look forward to visiting again soon!

Location, location, location!

This property is on the bay side of Mission Beach. Cross Mission Boulevard and you are at the beach in less than a 5 minutes walk. The aquatic center is just down the street. We enjoyed walking the boardwalk on both the bay and ocean sides of the boulevard. Plenty of places to eat, drink and shop are within walking distance. Super markets are a short car ride away. Easy to get to Sea World and the Zoo. The property was well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Our host David was very communicative and helpful. The beauty of this location is that you are in good proximity to enjoy the great outdoor activities San Diego Mission Bay has to offer.

Excellent location!

We loved the close proximity to the beach and bay, as well as restaurants and shopping. Parking was the only minor “issue” but we managed. The property size, location and amenities were exactly as advertised and we would definitely stay here again.

Summer Beach

My sons, nephew and I loved the location and everything about this beach apartment. The location was perfect. It was very accessible, and yet we felt completely safe and separate from the usual beach area mayhem. The place itself was roomy and had all the necessities. The owner provided clear and timely instructions and made himself available should we need to reach him. Everything went smoothly!. My parents (in their eighties) came over to visit us several times and were impressed with the comfort and size.

Very nice clean property. A little noisy with the aquatic center so close. And the traffice from the center was bad. Overall we would stay there again.

Loved Our Stay

Great location

Great location right on the bay and close to the beach. Everything in the home worked and it was clean. The master bedroom could use a new mattress and bigger bed. Other than that everything was great.

Great location, nice unit - needs interior painting

We enjoyed our stay. The pluses: The unit is laid out well, everything works correctly, the kitchen is nice, and the location is ideal for enjoying the bay, the ocean beach, or Mission Beach attractions. The cons: there's some road noise from being at the entrance to the Santa Clara point and associated parking, every painted surface for the unit (walls, trim, and doors) needs repainting.

Girls trip

Such a cute safe neighborhood. Cute condo with a great view. So close to the ocean and right on the bay. There is a funny smell when you walk in and it could use a deep clean. We didn’t spend a lot of time there with all the cute shops, water, and great food around so it worked great for us!!

Site was exactly as described. Had lots of things in the kitchen to cook. It was close to the site of the 3-day for Susan G. Komen. Lots to do and see and was very closevto the ocean!!

Just what I expected

I've rented in the Mission Bay area previously, so I was familiar with the area. This unit is in a great location on the bay side in the North Mission Beach area, walkable to many restaurants, bodegas, board/bike rental shops etc. It could use a little updating/TLC but overall, it looked like the pictures and it hit the mark for my 17YO son and me! Bottom line...I'd stay here again.

Comments and recommendations

The best thing about the property is that it is located in the middle of the action. Also halfway and walking distance to Belmont Park. Great people watching local and close to the public parking lot. Also the ocean breeze was uninterrupted. Abundance of cool ocean breeze. I thought that I was going to be uncomfortable because that is no air conditioning. But I was very comfortable. At time I was cold. Also great that there are two bathrooms. The kitchen was updated and well stocked. Great. However, the condo could benefit with a little TLC: fresh paint; new bed sheets: updating the bathrooms and maybe an electrical lock. I was always concerned that I would lose the keys. Finally, very roomy and good size.

North Mission Beach Vacation

This was the best location, overlooking a bay and being a block from the ocean. The kitchen is well supplied. We were short walks from nice eateries. Absolutely perfect!

Great condo on Mission Bay!

We’ve stayed at this condo a couple times, and love it! The location can’t be beat…right on the bay and near shops/restaurants! The condo is spacious and clean!

Not exactly how it’s pictured

While my family had a nice stay, this property leaves a bit to be desired. The view out of the balcony is of the Aquatic Center’s parking lot. The only way you can see the Bay is by stepping into the far north corner of the living room and looking south. Because of this, having the doors open just means you’ll be hearing parking lot sounds. Additionally, the fireworks are not visible from this unit. There is a tree just to the right side that blocks any view of Seaworld’s show as well as the Mission Bay show. The unit itself is spacious, but overall rundown. The walls in throughout have cracks, scrapes, and look dingy. The bathrooms have vanity doors hanging on their hinges, rust stains, and missing caulking/grout. The beds were not comfortable and the sofa was also broken down in several places. Getting the slider screen and door open or shut was practically impossible, which seems dangerous, as that is the way in and out of the stairway, if you choose not to use the elevator. The plus sides were the breeze that flowed thru the unit and the larger than normal parking space that our minivan fit in no problem! We did not spend much time inside the condo so our stay was adequate. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone in the future.
