From the street, Beach Plum Cottage looks small and cozy, but step inside and you will be pleasantly surprised by all the room the house provides all on one floor. Our home is perfect for large families, multi-generational groups, as well as several couples. With four bedrooms (two en-suite masters) and three full bathrooms, this home provides space and comfort while being steps away from the beaches of the Delaware Bay. The back screened-in porch gives a quiet retreat after spending a day on the beach. The home is supplied with paper products, linens, beach gear, and a cleaning service.

Great house and location!

A few of my family’s highlights: Large screened in porch Walkable to the bay Short drive to the ocean Several different bed configurations/sizes in the bedrooms Large dining room table so we could all eat at one table Responsive home owner Linens were included Our ONLY bit of feedback/possible (mild) improvement would have been if there was a clothesline somewhere to hang suits and towels after a day at the beach and an enclosed outdoor shower. Two things we could and did absolutely live without, that said. Thank you for a fantastic week at the beach!

Wonderful holiday stay

The house was terrific for my husband and I, daughter and son-in-law, his mom and our pup. Close to beautiful sunsets at the bay, great restaurants, lighthouse, downtown Cape May and beaches. Absolutely loved the back porch - listening to birds, rain, and relaxing. Lots of amenities and great communications with the host. A wonderful place to start the summer!

On the Way to Cape May - Getaway

The house was perfect for my two sisters, my husband, and I. Well equipped kitchen, lovely screened in porches, comfortable beds and furniture. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs, coolers, and sand toys. The hostess was kind to reach out and let us know that there was no rush to leave at the scheduled check out time. We had a great time exploring the area that our parents spoke about and loved so much!!! Still hearing their favorite song…”On the Way to Cape May” over, and over. They would be happy that we took the time to visit! Great stay! Highly recommend!

Another wonderful stay

My family and I had another wonderful stay at this Cape May property! We’ve booked this home several times over the years and we’ve always had a great experience. The house itself is warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our host, Elizabeth, was incredibly communicative as always throughout our stay, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. Coast Guard Boot Camp Graduation

My family and I stayed for our son's BC graduation. We also had 1 family member with a walker and one with a scooter, this worked out perfectly for us! Communication was also wonderful. If we ever had to visit again, we would definitely stay here. Also, so roomy!

Wonderful & Relaxing!

A lovely and cozy home, perfect for relaxing with family. Walks around the neighborhood and along the beach were beautiful and tranquil. We practically had the entire beach to ourselves...although, that's to be expected when visiting the shore in November :)

Fall Retreat

It was the perfect house for our family. My FIL fell in April and broke his hip. He is doing very well but needed no stairs to climb. The house was spacious and also allowed our dog to come. We fell in love with the neighborhood and area. Enjoyed evening sunsets and got to watch the Ferry depart too. We loved it so much we are coming back.

Another great vacation in the Villas

This was the 3rd year of staying in the Villas. As in years past, it was a delightful, comfortable and clean stay. A true "home away from home" with all the amenities of a complete house. Great First Experience

This was my first ever stay at a VRBO, and forever now, the bar is set high! Elizabeth,our host, was extremely communicative and accommodating throughout the process, never taking more than 24 hours to respond. The house was exactly as described, two bedroom suites (complete with bathrooms), an additional bedroom and bath and a room with a pullout couch /pocket doors that doubled as the fourth bedroom. Anything and everything needed was furnished, and the house was well stocked with essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies,laundry detergent, etc. The real attraction however, was the bay beach literally three minutes away. I was so taken by the cleanliness and proximity, that this was the first year I didn't go to the ocean beach ( though Ophelia took care of that too!). I can't say enough about how easy everything was! Oh, yes, and I brought my dog too! She also had a great time as there are many more squirrels in Villas than at home! Thank you Elizabeth for a great time! I hope to be back soon!

Lovely Beach Vacation

Great house with lots of room for our group of 4. The kitchen is large and well stocked, there are many beach chairs and umbrellas to use, and lots of room to hang out, visit, eat. The back screened-in porch is lovely. The bay beach is so close! We really enjoyed our stay.

we love Beachplum

This is our second year and we absolutely love it. we love the location, the bay, the back screened in porch and the fact we can bring our dog. Elizabeth provides everything and went the extra mile to be sure a certain float was there so my 77 yo mom could go in the bay. This is our forever vacation spot.

Family vacation

Great house for a family vacation. Plenty of rooms and spacious layout. Screened porches were great for hanging out. House was stocked with everything we needed. Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage. The garage was also great for extra space to store our bikes and stroller for the week. Close to the beach where we brought our dog everyday. Easy to communicate with the host. Would definitely stay again!

Great house, awesome location!

Lovely home located super close to the bay entrance. My family and I had a wonderful time here. I loved walking my dog along the bay...which we did twice a day whenever we could. The house is clean, well equipped and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Close to everything. Loved spending time on the porches. Great communication with the owner. Perfect!!!!

Birding weekend

A group of 4 senior adults stayed the weekend to do a bit of birding. The house was perfect! Two master bedrooms for the two couples. We didn't need the other 2 bedrooms but the house fit within all our search parameters so we took it. The proximity to the beach was fantastic and we loved the quiet neighborhood. "Town" was just a short drive away. That porch was idyllic--so quiet and peaceful! And it was so convenient that linens were furnished; but not excited about having to make our own beds. Would most definitely rent this house again!
