The main living space is on the upper level, so you'll have the chance to enjoy gorgeous mountain and ski views from your windows and balcony. The gas stove in the living room will keep everyone nice and warm–cold, winter nights won't stand a chance here! Snuggle in one of the many sofas available and watch your favorite shows on the smart flatscreen TV (sign in to your Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, or Amazon Prime account) before heading out to explore the area or shred some powder at the slopes. Treat your family and friends to memorable meals thanks to the fully-equipped kitchen or grill on the shared outdoor BBQs. Relax your tired muscles in the shared hot tub and sauna or head over to the shared heated pool! Tennis court, basketball (half-court), beach volleyball court, and horseshoes are available in the summer for additional fun!

Skiback and mountain bike Downtown/Uptown trails pass by right behind the complex for easy access.

Welcome to one of central California's top year-round destinations for mountain sports, Mammoth Lakes! Half a mile away from your getaway are Canyon Lodge, Chair 7, Canyon Express, Village Gondola, and Chair 8 gondolas. The apt-for-beginners slope School Yard is within walking distance too. Cloverleaf is an intermediate slope you can find right beside School Yard. Four miles away is Main Lodge at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area where snowboarders and skiers will have the time of their lives! Hikers will have their fair share of fun when they take the walking trail around Convict Lake; golfers will be able to practice their swing at the Snowcreek Golf Course three miles away. However, if you happen to visit during warm months, you will also have endless things to try such as hiking, mountain biking, or rock climbing. If you're in town for the annual jazz festival, be sure to check it out, and when you need to get to the nearby supermarket, hop on the shuttle, available year-round. The almighty Yosemite National Park is 40.6 miles away and it's totally worth the trip!

Comfortably Stay

Comfortable accommodations for 8 adults. Unit had a fully stocked kitchen but is otherwise pretty bare bones/clearly a rental property. Ski in trail was easy to use for ski - in access and the walk to the base of canyon was a rather easy 10 min walk. Easy parking, did need chains for my FWD vehicle to get up the hill of the mountain.

Furniture is not comfortable in this property. It was difficult to relax at this property. In addition the property was dusty, there was cereal underneath the sofa, hair underneath the bunk beds, and a dirty sock was found in the downstairs bathroom cabinet. Pictures look nice, but we would not stay here again.

Vacasa's ski-in/ski-out unit offered the ultimate convenience for our family getaway. The cleanliness and well-stocked essentials made settling in a breeze. One standout feature was the impressive sound system in the living room, perfect for cozy evenings after a day on the slopes. However, while the ski-in/ski-out option was convenient, it's worth noting that during the spring season, it might not be the most snowboard-friendly experience. The trail tended to be flat and sticky, which could pose a challenge for snowboarders. Overall, though, it was a fantastic stay, ideal for families looking for both comfort and convenience.

Cozy Condo with Slopeside Convenience and Mountain Views

Our recent stay at this Mammoth condo was fantastic! The location was ideal, situated right off a ski back trail, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes and returning home easily. The condo has a well-thought-out floor plan that allows for natural light and peek mountain views from almost every room. It was clear the condo had modern touches with nice showers, good heat and a well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay. Having dedicated garage parking was a huge plus, especially during snowy weather, and the additional parking available for larger vehicles at the end of the building was another convenient feature. One minor point to be aware of is the driveway leading up to the condo. Due to its steepness and partial shade throughout the day, we did need to put on chains after it snowed. Overall we loved the location and condo.

Great place for our family

Our family enjoyed our stay here along with our dog during the summer. House was clean and had everything that we need. This home was on the first floor so didn't have to worry about walking up a bunch of stairs.

Wonderful condo for summer visit to Mammoth

Visited with family and small dog for 4 nights. Had a wonderful time and found the rental to be clean, modern, well-equipped and convenient. We especially liked the reverse layout with the downstairs bedrooms, which made them cooler during the summer. Check-in was smooth and interactions with Vacasa were timely and professional.

Condo was over-cleaned with heavy-duty chemicals which choked us for hours. (Literally could feel in throat as breathed.) Had to open all windows from check-in at 4:00pm until too cold at night (meanwhile wasting energy on heater). Otherwise, condo very bare bones, not even a convenience pen; no scrap of décor/picture on wall so felt a bit too sterile. Request hot tub door code before Office closes.

Weekend Getaway

We LOVED this condo. It was perfect for a weekend getaway but we wish we could've stayed longer. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more!) - can opener, wine opener, large pots, strainers, cutting boards, etc. The dining room table was perfect for just us to play board games but would've worked for a large group too. The bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean and well organized with plenty of extra pillows, towels, etc. We really enjoyed spending the weekend there and the location was perfect. It was close enough to everything where we could take a longer walk or a short drive but far enough away from the crowds where it was quiet. Everyone in the other condos were super nice and friendly. The owner was great - very responsive and also provided really great suggestions for local restaurants and places to find snow. Can't wait to go back and will absolutely stay here again!

Perfect location easy access to the garage which was nice.!

Perfect place to stay you can walk to the slopes. Nice remodel. Definitely would stay again. Love that it has a garage and the access to the unit to the garage is very close.. we had a hard time controlling the heat upstairs but other than that it’s a perfect place to get away.
