First off, The Host, Tina, is the best! The condo was clean and comfortable Everything about our stay was fun. The view is Spectacular. If you are a bird watcher, there are plenty of birds to watch!!

Visiting for Renfest

Let me start off by saying that this condo offers a stunning view of Lake Conroe and the Lighthouse. The balcony right on the water was a highlight of the stay! However, there were several issues that made the experience less than ideal. First, the balcony furniture doesn’t match the photos in the listing. I booked this condo intending to stay close to the Texas RenFest, as the listing stated it was 18.61 miles away. In reality, it’s about 34 miles and a 45-minute drive. If I’d known the actual distance, I would have chosen a location closer to the festival to save driving time. The master bed was comfortable, but the pillows were way too firm for a good night’s sleep. Luckily, I had brought my own pillow for the trip from Louisiana. The refrigerator in the room made a loud humming noise, and I had to turn it off during the night because it was too distracting. Additionally, the blinds in the master bedroom were chewed up and broken—likely by a dog—and should have been replaced before renting out the unit. There was no bathroom soap supplied, as advertised, but fortunately, I brought my own. Extra bath towels were oddly stored in the kitchen closet alongside spare toilet paper instead of in the bathroom. The second bedroom wasn’t much better; the girls sleeping there reported the bed was uncomfortable and squeaky. Even the coffee pot was noisy, adding to the list of small inconveniences. Overall, the condo is okay for the price but needs updating!

Room for improvement

Pros: the place had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Communication with host was excellent. Cons: we chose this place because of the balcony with lake view. It was infested with mosquitoes, making it impossible to be outside. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Wonderful Start to Our Honeymoon

We got married nearby, and needed someplace to stay that night before leaving for the honeymoon. Although the extra bedroom was unnecessary, it still is a beautiful and romantic place for two people. Fantastic view of the lake, and it's a really nice apartment! Definitely would recommend.

This property was Excellent! My husband, daughter, son in law and 4 yr old grandson enjoyed our stay. Tina's place is awesome, it is very clean and had everything we needed! We will definitely stay again.

Pleasant condo

This lovely Condo is clean, fresh, bright and gives you a “pleasant” feeling. We were pleasantly surprised that this condo was much nicer than we expected and at a Great Price. And, extra nice that my little dogs were allowed to come. The boat slips are new and securely and safely held my husband’s 1947 Garwood boat while we were there. The beds are comfortable. The patio has a beautiful view of the lake and sunset. We were just steps away from the delicious Wave Restaurant. Everything on the menu is very good. The first night, Wave Restaurant delivered our order to our door. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely View of Lake Conroe

Our stay was perfect! Tina was easy to work with and very responsive. Condo was clean, comfortable, and roomy. My favorite part was enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony with a peaceful view of the lake. We will definitely stay at Tina’s place again.

Nice location

Condo was clean and nice and well maintained. Outside of building was not well maintained. Covered with hornets nests. Elevators broken for the entire stay. No lighting in stairwells. Difficult with small children.

Great place!

Tina's place was very clean and a great layout! The views were incredible. We had one issue while checking in, but Tina was very responsive and got it fixed right away. We would definitely come back!

Stay on Lake Conroe

Condo is a bit old, and shows its age, but it was clean and comfortable. The convenience of having the restaurant right next door was nice as was the access to the pier so we could bring jet skis. The only issue with having watercraft is that you need to take them out daily since there is not a dedicated / secure slip. The launch is very close, so launching daily is not a problem.

Nice weekend away on the lake, incredible sunsets

Beautiful sunset views! The condo building was a bit tired.aging, but the unit itself was exactly as advertised and immaculate. Spacious, comfortable, everything we needed. Prompt communications with the host, easy check-in/access. We enjoyed dining at The Wave and easy access to downtown Conroe. Great getaway.

Not quite as pictured

The condo inside was nice and the sunsets were beautiful. It could definitely use some updating and a little better housekeeping between bookings. Also, for most of our stay the balcony was unusable because of the amount of gnats and bugs. Additionally, it was very dirty and I wouldn’t recommend more than two people sit out on it at the same time. I do question its integrity as there are cracks on the floor and the balcony itself seems to be pulling away from the building. Additionally, the cushions were filthy and full of bugs. There was also a nest of wasps living in the crumbling stucco to the left and in a hole in the ceiling on the right. We finally bought some bug spray so we could at least go outside to watch the boats and wildlife a bit. Luckily we had a couple of camping chairs to sit on. The condos themselves were also pretty run down and not at all what we expected. The road to the property was horrible and in need of repair. I would be very careful driving it at night as there are HUGE dips. The elevator to our rental on the 3rd floor smelled horrible and was home to a few creatures including a fairly large cockroach. Since my son was in a wheelchair that was the only way we could get to our rental. My husband and other son did take the stairs, but highly recommended I stayed clear, especially at night. Apparently, the elevator roach had relatives living there. The amenities were also limited to just the pool and restaurant. The tennis courts and playground were actually located on a different property. I am not saying it’s 100% the cause, but both my husband and son came down with pink eye when we returned home. They used the pool almost daily. Neither my other son nor myself went near the pool and neither have it. Our doctor did say it could be a likely cause. At one time I imagine this property was a great getaway. But it has fallen into disrepair and I truly hope that hostess updates her listing to accurately describe the property in its current state. If you looking for a quick affordable getaway with a decent place to lay your head and not much more, go for it. Just stay clear of the balcony, roads, stairs, elevator and the pool.
