The apartment is beautiful, clean, and has gorgeous views. However, 2 bulbs are out above the dining table so it's pretty dark. Also, it's strange that there is a TV with remote in the bedroom because it doesn't work. Why have it? The pool is great and the location is fantastic. My biggest complaints were 1) Very difficult communicating with hosts. On arrival day I circled around searching for lockbox to enter parking garage. Finally called the contact person and he told me the lockbox had been removed and I would have to wait for him to open the gate. I also decided to pay for late check-out. I paid the fee and made every attempt to confirm. Sent texts, emails, mssged on vrbo - no response. Of course - someone walked in on me on my last day because she wasn't aware I had paid for late check out. 2) The hallway on 12th floor had a terrible odor and one day someone's dog pooped on the carpet. Despite these issues, the apartment is really lovely and walking distance of beach, marina, and lots of nightlife. But the poor communication would prevent me from booking again.

Manager switch apartments. We had photo proof of location at booking on platform. Location was different building, old, dirty. We also have GPS screen shot of switched location. VRBO should reimburse us for more than rental. We missed spending time we wanted with grandkids.

Terrific View

The view from this high floor is great, you can see up the coast to the Santa Monica pier and Point Dume in Malibu. We loved the location, a quick walk over to Venice Beach and restaurants. The apartment was clean and sparsely furnished. One note, the photos for this property appear to have been mixed up with those for another, similar apartment, so the furnishings are different, most notably in the living room. This didn't make much of a difference to our experience, but it was disconcerting when we first arrived. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great location and view - but poorly maintained

Comfy bed and great view but there were a few issues. Two lights out above vanity, one out above dining room table. Bare bulb in closet even though the glass shade was sitting on the shelf. Outlet in bathroom not functioning properly - had to dry my hair in the kitchen. Nice glass cocktail table and dining table but no coasters or placemats available to protect them. Opened the living room window and it nearly fell on the floor. Top hinge is broken. Renters should be made aware of this as it is dangerous. The location is great and I'd like to return but would hope the owner and property manager would take care of these issues.

A comfortable apartment but some shortcomings

The apartment is quite spacious but with a very tiny bathroom and WC. It is rather sparsely furnished- chairs in the bedroom would be an improvement. Generally though a good apartment in a good position. The check in process was what let our stay down. For some reason they do not give you the address and car park details until you arrive. Having given me a meeting point and a number to call to arrange to be taken to the flat all that was abandoned and I found myself at Hertz in LAX trying to get access to detailed complicated instructions which I couldn’t download to my phone. Why they didn’t send the instructions days before is beyond me. I ended up lost in a dark car park, frustrated, tired and very angry. A very bad start to our holiday.

Large well equipped apartment

Amazing views and well located in marina del Rey. Because it is so large, the furniture did not fill it up but not a problem. Except for the fact that only one of two elevators was working for 12 floors of apartments, it was a comfortable functional place and I would recommend it
