Welcome to Harrington Point on Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio - one of the best-kept secrets in the very Northeastern corner of the state. The coastline along the lake in this part of the state is situated perfectly for stunning sunsets over the water!
66 Harrington Point is a clean, nicely-decorated, fully furnished 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that sleeps up to six people. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary dishes, pots, pans and utensils for preparing meals. Other spaces include the comfortably-sized living room, quiet sitting area, and fun recreation room. The back yard has a grill and picnic table. The living room and recreation room are equipped with flat screen streaming HD TVs. Guest WiFi is also provided. The most important feature, however, is access to Harrington Point’s private beach and picnic area a short walk from the cottage, or if you prefer, you can drive down the hill and park, making it easier to transport blankets, chairs, towels, picnic baskets, etc to the water’s edge. The beach area features a short pier, swing set, picnic table, and grassy area under the shade of a grand willow tree. (PLEASE NOTE - Driving access to the beach is restricted from November through March every year.)
Locally, Conneaut boasts a variety of restaurants and taverns. Conneaut Creek and the Port of Conneaut draw fishermen and boaters from all around. Conneaut Township Park features a vast public beach with boardwalks, pavilions, concessions, a playground, basketball courts, and picnic areas. Township Park also hosts one of the nations largest D-Day re-enactments every August drawing tens of thousands from all over the country. A short drive outside of Conneaut, the rest of Ashtabula County offers scenic covered bridge tours, fantastic wineries, the historic Ashtabula Harbor, and popular family destination Geneva-On-The-Lake.
