Great Lakehouse

Our family had a wonderful time over spring break. Teresa is an amazing host and easy to work with. She brought us kayaks and paddle boards which the kids loved. The water was low due to TVA, but we were able kayak out to the main river and catch some fish each day. Teresa made sure we had plenty of firewood which we used to grill our catch and make s’mores for the kids. The house was well stocked and had plenty of entertainment for the family. We can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderful!

Very communicative and accommodating, the owner even left the basement unlocked in case we needed to seek shelter with potential weather threats. Would love to go back for longer and enjoy the outdoors!

Family fishing getaway

Wonderful house. Great location on the water for fishing! Internet and TV worked great! We had a wonderful time and the host was very supportive and quick to help in any way!

Cozy, Comfortable Stay!

We had a lovely stay at this property. Teresa was very responsive to any questions (not that we had many). The set up was easy to use and met our expectations. The property is somewhat distant from restaurants/stores, but there is a Dollar General and several convenience stores closer to the property with a numerous stores/restaurants available at a little further distance. We would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you!

Perfect little getaway

Sweet Lake House

We had a wonderful time kyaking on the river. The home is super cute and perfect for a family with 4 adults. Host provided sweet extras like ingredients for smores, use of their 2 adult kyaks, and was wonderful at communicating with us during our stay. She also left a nice binder full of restaurants with menus in the area, and activities too. We will certainly stay again !!

River view!

This was a very nice place to stay! We were in town for a wedding and it was so relaxing to come back and sit on the deck and watch the beautiful sunset over the river and mountain. Will stay here again if we’re in the area!

Anniversary trip

This house is amazing! Adorably decorated with a perfect view of the lake. Tucked away in a quiet area complete with a firepit, wood and complimentary s’mores fixin’s. The owner was responsive with any questions and a guest book at the house had great restaurant recommendations and things to do in the area. We will certainly return.

Great for wedding guests

We stayed at this location because it is close to several wedding venues. We attended one party in Georgetown and one in Birchwood, and both were convenient to get to. The home is very comfortable inside, and the deck and view were quite pleasant. The only thing I would add is some additional mirrors for makeup application and checking your outfit. Overall, it is a great little getaway.

Thoughtful Layout and Decor

The house was a little gem. While small, the decor and layout is very comfortable and inviting. Host was 'on it' with questions and you can feel that she really cares about this home. The riverfront location was relaxing and rejuvenating and our hostess made certain our experience, inside or out, was just what the doctor ordered! We had a great stay!

Cozy quiet lake house

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, it was so quiet in a nice rural setting. The house is well provisioned with everything you would need for your stay and CLEAN! Owner is responsive and easy to deal with and makes checkin and out easy. Will book again for our bext stay in the area.

January stay during Sandhill Crane Festival

The home was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the family room/den with the lovely view out the windows and the fireplace keeping us warm. There isn’t a dining table, but since there were just four of us that was easy to manage. There is bar seating for two and a coffee table for the others. Fold-up trays are available. The location was excellent for the festival and we enjoyed hearing the cranes in the distance from the house.
