Dieses Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend - 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, zum Zentrum / Hafen von Oak Bluffs, zu Restaurants, zum Kunstviertel und zu Geschäften. Es ist ein sehr schönes (Queen) Schlafzimmer Haus (neue Twin-Klappbett auch für Haus oder Schuppen verfügbar). Große private Terrasse mit Ess- und Wohnbereich im Freien, Gartenmöbeln sowie Bar, Außenspüle, Gasgrill. Die Küche verfügt über einen Edelstahl-Kühlschrank, einen neuen Mikrowellen- / Konvektionsofen aus Edelstahl sowie eine neue Edelstahl-Geschirrspülmaschine. Krups Panini Maker, riesiger Hummertopf. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über einen 40-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher und die Hotel Collection-Bettwäsche. Wohnzimmer hat 42 'Flachbildfernseher, DVD-Player. Neu eingerichtetes (kleines) Badezimmer mit obenstehendem Design-Keramikspülbecken und kombinierter Waschmaschine und Trockner.
Spiele, Sonnenschirm und 2 Sandstühle sind im Schuppen.

Fantastic vacation

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation. Our host was very friendly and stocked the house with extras in case we forgot something. The house is located near town so we parked our car and walked to town when we needed something. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect vacation

This is our 3rd summer staying at Donna’s cottage. My family and I love it. The location is perfect as it’s walking distance to Oak Bluffs. Donna is wonderful. My family and I look forward to returning next summer and staying at Donna’s lovely cottage.

Charming cottage

Spent one week in this adorable cottage in Oak Bluffs. The house is well equipped with washer/dryer, two tv’s, kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal including big lobster pots. There is also air conditioning in the bedroom and living area.The patio and back yard are beautifully maintained and perfect for sitting or outdoor dining. There is a big gas grill also. Donna, the owner responds right away to texts and provided us with beach chairs which I forgot to bring. I will not hesitate to rebook this perfect spot!

Very good location but mixed experience

We have to give this rental overall a mixed review. On the positive side, the cottage is in a very good location for Oak Bluffs and the Town Beach, it has comfortable and attractive interior space, and a beautiful yard and garden. However, although there is an air conditioner installed in the bedroom behind louvers above the bed, there was so much dust on and around it that we did not turn it on. The living room air conditioner is mounted very high up in the room so we didn’t turn that on either because of the possibility of dust there too. That combined with the hard mattress made for very uncomfortable nights. There were also ants and millipedes in the kitchen. And, three days before our arrival we were informed of additional dog rules, which were not mentioned in the VRBO listing. Had we known of them or the other issues we would have rented elsewhere.

MV Retreat

We biked all over the island. Wonderful to come back to this adorable house. Gardens were great. Loved opening the curtains and enjoying the breeze going through the trees. Owner was great. Location excellent.

Lovely cottage in Oak Bluffs

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay - the space is perfect for staying in & chilling out or a quick drive to 'downtown' Oak Bluffs. And even though we were experiencing remnants of hurricane Ian, we had a great trip exploring the island and going out for different meals throughout the day. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect fall getaway

Donna’s property was wonderful with a location very convenient to Oak Bluffs and beyond. But the outdoor space is what really impressed us-a lovely gazebo to get some shade, and pretty gardens.

My Happy Place!

I feel so lucky that Donna has shared her amazing home with us the last two years. Martha's Vineyard is a magical place and this cottage is in a great location. A perfect backyard oasis in Oak Bluffs

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage with our dog. The backyard is exceptional, beautiful cottage gardens, comfortable patio furniture under a lovely gazebo, such a comfortable and quiet space. The interior space was comfortable and cozy, the perfect place relax in the evening and watch a movie. The location is perfect for walking into town, over to Tony's for a sub and light grocery shopping, or walking over to one of the nearby trails. Donna is lovely and the communication was excellent. We loved it so much, we have already booked for next year! It is truly a hidden treasure.

Beautiful Vineyard Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cottage is so close to everything! We could bike to downtown and enjoy the shops and restaurants, or the ocean by the beautiful park. We enjoyed paddle boarding, biking, gingerbread cottages, stunning sunsets, hiking, restaurants, and shopping. The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us and was well stocked with everything you’d need. Donna was always helpful with any questions we had! The flowers and gardens around the cottage are beautiful with a very nice large private patio and backyard. We would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back again!

Perfect Vacation

Donna's property is wonderful. It had everything we needed - clean, neat, privacy, a fantastic backyard, and the location could not be beaten. Her cottage is less than 1/2 mile from Oak Bluffs. We never used our car when we went into town. We loved her place so much we booked it again for next summer. Highly recommend Donna's property.

Perfect Getaway!

If you are coming to the Vineyard and Donna’s home is available, rent it! The location is perfect for walking, biking, or driving into town. Only minutes away from one of the many beautiful beaches (Joseph Sylvia Beach, Inkwell Beach, Etc.) Plus minutes away from all the shops and restaurants in town. The home and property is beautiful, large back yard with very well maintained gardens, gazebo, dining tables, gas grill, and a bar. We can’t say enough about Donna and her hospitality. Donna was very flexible and Immediately responsive to our questions. Don’t miss out on this beautiful home on Martha’s Vineyard!

Perfect location

This was the perfect cottage for my husband and I and our dog Ally. The house was just the right size for us, had everything you needed to be vacation comfortable. It was near a couple of parks and an easy walk to Circuit Ave. It also had an amazing backyard where my husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee and where Ally could run around and explore . Donna was was great host and available and easy to reach when we had any questions.

All the reviews I had read about this cottage were true! Donna’s special cottage had charm, beauty, and privacy. All this within walking distance of the beach and downtown Oak Bluffs. Delightfully appointed with a gorgeous backyard set for entertaining or a nap on the shaded glider.

Enjoyed our stay very much

My wife, our dog and I arrived for our 2 week stay in July 2016. We enjoyed the home very much, it is quiet and private. The home is very nice, it is comfortable and plenty of house for the 3 of us. We did bring our car over on the ferry (book it far ahead in the summer) and we liked having it on the island. The house was stocked with everything you need to get started (spices, etc...) but of course you will want to pick up what you want for yourself and likely leave things for others. I particularly enjoyed the panini maker and used it 4x in our 2 weeks. The back yard is great, we spent a lot of time here in the evenings. Really, it is a place to relax. Our little guy loved it, he was maybe more happy here than at home which is really something. You can walk to Oak Bluffs in 10-12 minutes. We rode our bikes several times to Edgartown (about a 15 mile round trip). We would definitely return to this home if we were planning on being back on the island which will depend on our dog's health. So to answer the main questions: Was the listing accurate: Absolutely Was the property clean and maintained: Absolutely Did the owner provide good customer service: Yes, we really like Donna, she is knowledgable about the island and just a great person overall. I can't say enough good things about her. Would you recommend the property to a friend or relative: Absolutely What activities/restaurants did we enjoy: L'Etoile - Edgartown, John's Fish Market - Vineyard Haven, Scottish Bakehouse - Vineyard Haven, Chilmark Chocolates - Chilmark, MV Wine & Spirits - Edgartown and Animal Health Care - Dr. Atwood - Edgartown... The list goes on, there is a lot to do or you can do nothing... the choice is yours... but we love riding our bikes on the island. Thanks again Donna!

Lovely One-Bedroom Cottage Has Comfort and Warmth of Home

We have rented this house since 2014; my husband and I love it and call it "our home away from home." Not only clean and comfortable; the house has a very unique history which was published in a local editorial. Walk to town, or Ocean Park to board bus transit for other sites on MV. Donna, the owner, could not be more pleasant to work with - she is gracious and wants you to enjoy your stay. We arrive pumped up for our visit and leave sadly longing for more days. I would recommend this to a couple, it has special ambience for two.

GREAT!! GREAT !! STAYCATION !!!!

This was the best two week vacation on the vineyard ever!! I have stayed in many houses over many years but this home was just perfect you are close to town (Walking ) yet in a quiet community, . Donna the owner was a joy , She made sure that every thing was at your fingertips that you could possibly need on a vacation. My family also rented the front house so that we were able to have a family vacation together what more can I say . Thanks Donna See you next year Ramona B

Wonderful space!

My boyfriend and I rented this place for the first time this summer and we couldn't be happier with it! The indoor spaces are big enough that you don't feel cramped and the outdoor area was great for meals or just lounging. Lots of amenities too. We borrowed the beach chairs a few times and even rode the cruiser bikes down to State Beach to watch the fireworks. We wouldn't hesitate to rent again!

The only time you see neighbors is walking into house from your car. There is ample parking. The patio and gardens in backyard are very private Oak Bluffs center, the Tabernacle and300 beautifully painted cottages are on the route (10-15 minute walk through it all to center of O.B.)
