My partner and I stayed here for a month. We were the first renters to stay here and there were no reviews, but we decided to book anyway which felt a little risky at the time. Oh, how thankful we are that we booked it!
The Area-
Castle valley is stunning. The place is a post card. There are countless breathtaking hikes within a 10 minute drive, and it’s right next to the Colorado river where we swam almost every day. There’s an organic farm in castle valley where we got fresh veggies and befriended a baby horses. It’s a little slice of heaven and we didnt want to leave.
The House-
The house is incredible. You can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. It’s clean, modern, and homey. There is an awesome record collection and some nice books, too. The kitchen is well stocked and ahoy to cook in. There are panoramic views of mountains all around. The pictures do NOT do it justice.
The internet is fast and easily supported two people on zoom calls at the same time.
The Host-
Lisa was incredibly kind and accommodating. Before our stay we asked about bedroom blinds because we didnt see any in the listing pictures. Lisa went ahead and purchased and installed blinds before we got there!
In Summary-
M partner and I have stayed in lots of airbnb’s in the past year and this is our favorite spot so far. We tried to extend our stay but there wasn’t any more availability. This is without a doubt the best airbnb/vrbo Ive ever been in, and is one of the best travel experiences I’m had!
