Glen Choga Lodge is a historic log lodge in the serene mountains near Lake Nantahala, North Carolina. Initially constructed in 1935, the lodge has a rich history as a gathering place for travelers and nature lovers seeking a peaceful retreat in the Smoky Mountains. Over the years, it has maintained its rustic charm while undergoing careful restoration to preserve its historical integrity and provide modern comforts for guests. In 2019, Doug and Terri Matern purchased Glen Choga Lodge to restore it to its former glory while making it a welcoming bed and breakfast for visitors. Today, Glen Choga Lodge offers a unique blend of history, comfort, and natural beauty.
