Yoor Ocean View a luxury villa with spectacular views over Glass House Mountains
In our Persian dialect, ‘Yoor’ means ‘beyond and above’. And this is the location to have a deep connection with your loved ones to be able to go beyond and above.
The space
You will have the entire super luxury architecturally designed place to yourself with the most amazing facilities, views and privacy.
Guest access
No entry to PRIVATE and locked rooms.
Other things to note
Location and directions
Yoor is a luxurious and peaceful home in the Moreton Bay Hinterland, north of Brisbane. It’s about a one-hour drive from both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. You can pass through Dayboro to get to the area, but you can come from either Petrie or Samford Village.
Once you get to the house, you may see a distant view of the ocean on your right, with Bribie and Moreton Island about 90 degrees east, looking at the story of Glass House Mountains on the North.
Sustainable living
Yoor is a very well designed and highly sustainable four-bedroom home:
• Water comes from the generous roof collection of rainwater.
• Sewerage is turned into garden irrigation.
• The balcony roof is covered in solar panels.
• Compost nurtures fat worms for the veggie pots.
Sunrise at Yoor
On a clear winter morning, if you rise early, you will witness the sun rising on the eastern side of Sunrise Drive. That’s when the symphony starts in this wonderland. This is an ideal time to get in harmony with your world – the right time and place for a little self-awareness and mindfulness.
Sunset at Yoor
Sunrise is special, but sunset has its own glory. The golden valley is spectacular at dusk. Caboolture’s twinkle is charming in the late afternoon, while Maroochydore starts to wink a little later at 45 degrees north-east. A chorus of crickets fills the air, and light pink clouds go a shade deeper, and then orange, before giving way to evening. You will never tire of ending the day this way.
Full moon
For ‘Lunar lunatics’ who look forward to the ‘wolf howling’ nights, check the moon’s schedule and keep an eye on the horizon for her majestic illumination. Times vary throughout the year, but a full moon rising – an hour after sunset – is a phenomenon you won’t want to miss.
Rainy days and cockatoos
If you’re praying for rain, the unique whistle of the yellow-tailed black cockatoo is a promising sign. They usually fly as a couple, but sometimes you will see them in a group of three. This happens when only one chick survives from a few eggs, and it stays with its parents for about six months. Watching them fly over is always a glorious sight.
Enjoying the pause
Yoor is a pause in the busyness of life. It’s enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace. It’s snuggling with loved ones in the home cinema. It’s chilling next to the roaring fire. It’s watching the wallabies on a misty morning. It’s gazing at the stars in the jacuzzi. It’s practising ping-pong before your morning coffee.
Yoor is a journey to the other side and into the moment – the moment of just being. We are very happy to have you here, and hope this pause in your busyness gives you some rest and relaxation.
