Hyggeligt Hus

"Hyggeligt Hus" is Danish and roughly translates to "Cozy House" is a 800sq ft/ 74 sq m cabin with many of the amenities you have come to expect at home. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, laundry, screen in porch with hot tub, tv with internet access in both bedrooms and in the living room. Wood stove, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, fully equipped kitchen to make a variety of meals.
Master bedroom has a king size bed that can be split to make 2 twin extra long. The guest bedroom has a king size bed that can be split to make 2 twin extra long plus a trundle bed for a third individual.
The cabin is ground level for accessibility by wheel chair, no steps. All doors are 36 inch wide and the bathrooms are wheel chair friendly, including roll in showers. Bathrooms are fitted out with accessibility in mind. The hot tub is accessible using a Hoyer lift.
Searchmont Resort, a downhill ski resort with the highest vertical run in Ontario, is 5 km away. Ontario Snow mobile trails go through Searchmont. Plus many other local area attractions like show shoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing are with in easy access. With the highest average snow fall in Ontario, Searchmont is the place to be for your winter sports.
