Lagoon views Kaiteriteri House

Our property is an original Kaiteriteri bach which has been fully restored maintaining a number of original features. The house is perfectly sited to all day sun and boasts wonderful views of the ever-changing Kaiteriteri estuary from the large north facing deck. The main beach is an easy 300 metre walk from the property. Off street parking for cars and trailers – park your car and leave it there for the duration of your holiday!

The property features 3 bedrooms (2 have queen beds, the other a set of bunks, double on the bottom and single on top). There is one bathroom with toilet, shower and showerdome, laundry, fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, induction hobs, oven) and a comfortable dining/living area. Heating or cooling is controlled by a Daikin heat pump.

There is a Weber BBQ which guests are welcome to use but we ask that it is left in a clean condition for subsequent occupants. Towards the back of the sloping section is a flat area with table and chairs under a large kanuka tree which provides excellent shade – a very relaxing area for morning coffees or late afternoon drinks.

The Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park is a fantastic asset to the area. Good for all the family and provides a lovely alternative walk through native forest when the days are too hot to be in the sun. The Great Taste Cycle Trail is now completed from Motueka to Kaiteriteri, it's a fabulous all weather trail - perfect for getting out and about for a beginner through to advanced cyclist. No need to look for a public carpark if you are keen cyclist heading to the track. Entrance to the track is right at the bottom of our driveway.

Taste local cuisine - The Beached Whale Restaurant & Bar (+ Takeaways), Waterfront Restaurant or Gone Burgers (Takeaways) - open daily in summer. The Kaiteriteri Store offers great shopping for last minute needs as well as petrol. For a full on shop it is recommended to head into Motueka (20 mins drive) to either Countdown or New World, both located off the main street.
