Farmstay near Evans Head and beach - entire house with fire pit and games room

Relax in this private farmstay in a magical forest setting only 7 mins drive to Broadwater Beach and close to the beach cafes of Evans Head.

You will feel truly at home here: 3 bedrooms, undercover outdoor living + dining, fire pit, bbq, games room, table tennis, laundry, great coffee machine.

Evans Head is close to Byron Bay and Lennox Head but more relaxed. Avoid the crowds, and enjoy equally beautiful beaches, fishing, walking trails, but with more space and privacy.

Longer term stays are discounted.

The house sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 kids comfortably. Bedroom 1 is queen with an ensuite. Bedroom 2 is a double. Bedroom 3 has two single sofa beds - ideally suited for children.

There's a well-equipped kitchen, laundry, and a wood-fired heater for winter evenings inside.

The house offers large undercover living and dining areas, giving all year round, all-weather outdoor comfort. Spend your evenings sitting around the fire pit. You can even cook over it on the cast iron grill, or use the large gas bbq on the patio.

Star gazing is gorgeous here on clear nights!

The property is 45 acres, surrounded by trees. You get the run of the place, including our separate games room. Lots of opportunities to play: table tennis, darts, table soccer. There is a large lawn, perfect for cricket and other games.

The beach at Broadwater National Park is down the road, with beautiful sand dunes and birdlife. The laid-back beachside town of Evans Head is only a few minutes further away, with its relaxed cafes and shops. Lennox Head and Byron Bay are both close by and an easy drive.

This much space and privacy close to the beach is very rare. A perfect back to nature experience, while remaining connected to gorgeous local towns.

Other things to note
This is our rural holiday home. The brick exterior isn’t the most chic (!), but the house is perfect for just chilling out, sitting on the outdoor leather sofas and watching the beautiful sunsets. The house has everything you need – including a great coffee machine! It’s comfortable and cosy, without being overly fancy. It has easy access – only 5 mins from the Pacific Highway.

Sorry no pets, as we have wallabies and wonderful birdlife on our property.

The property uses rainwater. A drinking water filter is provided. Because this is a rural property, be aware that you may encounter insects, frogs and small critters. The entrance to the house has a sensor light for evening arrivals, and we’ll leave a torch if you need. There is a septic system, so we ask that no wipes or pads/nappies be put in toilets.

Given we have a dam on the property, please supervise children at all times whilst outdoors and be respectful of our beautiful wildlife and environment as you wander along the forest trails.

We live locally, so we are available if you need us, but our aim is to respect your privacy so that you enjoy the space as your own. You cannot see any neighbours, but even with 45 acres, sound carries and you can be heard, so be conscious and keep music to a respectable level. This is not a party house.
