A gem in Vermont, and great location for skiing
I visited this home in Vermont to ski with my family (wife and two kids). This was our first time not staying in a hotel and we are very glad we stayed here. We had a great time at this home. The location is pretty remote (which we wanted), and about a 12-15 minute drive to Ludlow if you are skiing Okemo, which we did.The house from the outside is very charming, in a very serene setting on a hill. Despite lots of snow, the driveway was plowed and the walkway cleared. We got to meet the property manager, Carol, upon arrival. She is very friendly and offers her full assistance if needed. This house is perfect for a family stay. The kitchen is seriously beautiful and very functional. It is fully equipped and also stocked with the basics, which was a pleasant surprise (even organic coffee). The view from the kitchen is so relaxing and we really enjoyed our coffee from the table near the large windows which overlook the beautiful property. The family room is a great place to unwind at night, with a large, comfortable sectional, and blankets everywhere! The bedroom with twin beds is on the lower level, and the bedroom with the full size bed is upstairs along with the loft bedroom, which is nicely enclosed with glass. All beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. There are clean, functional bathrooms on both floors as well. The heat worked great, and we had no issues or complaints with any aspect of the home. This a perfect home for a family to stay in the area!
