Property is full of mold
We arrived at the property on Saturday evening and immediately noticed a musty/mildewy smell. Upon further investigation we found significant mold growth in the window frames of the windows in two of the bedrooms and also later noticed it on the frame of the sliding glass door to the patio. We also found that the shower handle in the master bath shower was not working and we could not adjust the temperature of the shower water. We mentioned that my husband and I have severe mold allergies and requested an alternate property to stay in, but nothing was available.We contacted the property management company and someone came out to "tighten" the handle, but it loosened again immediately. They sent someone else out on Monday to take care of the mold and the handle. The person who came out on Monday of our stay simply covered the mold with Rustoleum white enamel spray paint. The mold was not treated before painting and continued to grow through the paint. The shower handle was proven to be broken and new one was supposedly being looked for, but the shower handle remained broken for the duration of our stay.We contacted the property management company again and no one else was sent out. They are refusing even a partial refund for the inconvenience of having to continue to deal with the mold in the property. By the end of our stay my husband was miserable because of his allergies and I was dealing with sinus issues also due to my mold allergies. I cannot recommend this rental.
