Make your Cooperstown visit unforgettable by staying at this beautiful, recently-updated single family home!

The Smith House is perfect for multiple-families who are visiting for the Cooperstown Dreams Park, for extended-family gatherings, or for large groups who are here to enjoy the beautiful scenery and everything else that Cooperstown has to offer.

This beautiful 5 bedroom, 4,500 square-foot home has something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Gather as a whole group in the Great Room or Basement Entertainment space, or enjoy a quieter experience in our Billiard Room, Keeping Room, or out on our spacious Deck.

This secluded property offers 17 acres for nature lovers to explore, as well as a fire pit and pasture that provides ample space to get outside and enjoy Upstate New York.

Upstate Winter Relaxation

We had a lovely time staying at the Smith House for a week during a brutally cold stretch in January. The multiple fireplaces/wood stoves kept the place toasty and oh so comfy while we worked (great WiFi), ate and relaxed - in between visiting upstate family. Cooperstown is quiet this time of year, but that suited us fine for this trip. The home is really lovely, exactly as described, and the whole process was simple. Highly recommend!

Beautiful House and Location!

Our stay at the Smith House was absolutely amazing. This is by far the best VRBO our family has stayed in. The house was perfect for our family to gather for our daughters wedding which was held at the Farmers Museum. The layout, rooms, and property, exceeded our expectations. Loved this house!

Great house for more than one family!

We had five different family groups staying here on the one house as our boys and a few husbands were staying at Cooperstown Dream Park. Two of the Dads enjoyed cooking in the spacious, open kitchen while the Mom’s and kids played outside, went for walks, played games or lounged around the house. The pool table was a huge hit as we experienced a lot of rain while we were there, but when it wasn’t raining we were outside on the wiffle ball field or on the deck enjoying our time together. There were plenty of toys and games provided so you don’t need to bring your own. Our only hiccups were quickly resolved and made right by the owner who was easy to reach when needed. We appreciated the extra chairs in the garage as some of our group flew to NY (from MO) and needed chairs to watch our boys. This house has everything to offer a large family or multiple family’s. We just wish we could have stayed longer than the week we were there.

Excellent location and beautiful home

The Smith house was the perfect choice for our group during our week at dreams park. The location was so close to the fields and in a beautiful, quiet setting. The house is spacious inside and the game areas were perfect for keeping the kids busy during downtime. The owner was very helpful as well and easy to work with. Would highly recommend this property!

This house is amazing. Great location for games at Cooperstown. Beds were so comfy we bought some for our own home. Only complaint is I’m glad I bring a blanket with me when I travel because there aren’t extras in the house. This house was worth it!

Our group had an amazing stay at the Smith house. The house was absolutely perfect and had so much character. The fire swing and wiffle ball field were definitely a highlight after long days at the baseball fields. We would recommend the Smith house in a heartbeat!

Great stay at the Smith house

We had a group of 14 with age ranges 6-72. There was plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was very well equipped. Beds were comfortable including the air mattress. The house was very clean. The hot tub was clean and xl which was nice. We did have trouble with the breaker a couple of times but we got it to work. Only a 10 minute drive to Cooperstown. We definitely recommend this house!

Christmas New Year’s family gathering

Our stay had a bit of a rocky start. We originally rented from the 29th to the 1st, and then I added an additional day into the 2nd. Our plan was to celebrate Christmas and bring in the New Year together. On our way to the property (10 adults and three toddlers), I pulled up the email that contained our check-in information. I noticed that the check-in date was changed to the 30th!!! Panic came over me. I immediately called the owner Tim, of which was very apologetic and accommodating. He immediately got a crew over (Michelle and her daughter) to get the house prepared for us. Tim offered to buy us dinner to compensate. Overall, even with the bumpy start, we had a wonderful time at the Smith House and enjoyed every minute of time together in what the property had to offer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

A Thanksgiving to Remember

We’ve been renting properties for years for Thanksgiving. The 12 of us agree, this was our favorite! The home was immaculate. We have never stayed anywhere cleaner. The home had everything we needed to cook a beautiful Thanksgiving feast and the long table was a welcome addition! The house had something for everyone. The kids and teens enjoyed plenty of time in the basement playing ping pong and Wii and the adults took advantage of the billiard room and the hot tub. Although it was rainy during our stay, we checked out the whiffle ball field and got in a few innings. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience all around. We’ll be back!

Relaxing Retreat

Amazing

Everything from start to finish was amazing with our stay. We were there as a group for Cooperstown Dreams Park. 3 families rented the house and it was specious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. Our husbands were coaches and came back on occasion to enjoy a nice hot shower, the hot tub and to relax. We hosted our team dinner one night and the kids loved the wiffle ball field. We plan on returning and without a doubt we will contact Time.

Baseball trip

Perfect Stay for Cooperstown Dreams Park

While the boys and coaches stayed in the Cooperstown Dreams bunkhouse, we enjoyed the spaciousness, amenities, and convenience of the Smith property. Minutes from the fields, it couldn’t have been better located. We hosted a team pizza party with the boys and adults making full use of the wiffle ball field, fire pit, and ample outdoor space. With lights on the wiffle ball field, the only way we got the team to leave was to meet curfew at the bunkhouse. Being able to bring our fur-kid made the vacation complete. Would 100% stay here again and fully recommend to any group visiting Cooperstown Dreams Park.

This house has it all!

This was our second stay at the Smith house and it continues to delight us. It is spacious and has a very comfortable layout, which is well suited for rental by large (or multiple) families. The house is clean, well-stocked and in a terrific location just outside of Cooperstown. I was especially delighted to see a new addition to the house -- a grand piano in the living room. The piano shows its age, but was surprisingly in tune and provides another bit of entertainment in a house already filled with amenities (including a hot tub, billiards table, ping pong table and small ballfield out back, complete with scoreboard). If you're looking for a clean, well-kept house that provides so much to do, this should be at the top of your list.

Great spot for HOF trip!

This property was perfect for our extended families baseball hall of fame trip - which was an easy 10 minute drive from the house. There was more than enough room for the 10 of us (ages 9-72) and we were greeted with coffee and doughnuts from a local bakery. The property is quiet, wooded and secluded with a lighted wiffleball field to use - which the kids and adults all loved. We enjoyed the wrap around deck, hot tub and fire pit outside for s'mores and an evening fire. Inside the kids loved the basement with plenty of games including ping pong and foosball. It was al little cool in May, but the wood burning stoves worked excellent - and the wood was provided. I would recommend to this to any kind of larger group looking to stay near Cooperstown, and I will hopefully return as well!

Wonderful Stay!

A really great home and space for a large group of friends or families. The bedrooms were all large with very comfortable beds. The communal areas were wonderful to hang out in and the kitchen was great to cook in! Close to all that Cooperstown has to offer. We checked out some local restaurants and breweries that were all less than 10 minutes away. We cannot wait to return!

The house was very much as advertised. Very spacious, awesome game room for kids and teens and a nice billiard room also. Very close to the HoF. Owner was very responsive. Will definitely re-book!

This is my childhood home, which we built in 1992, moved away from in 2004, and we purchased again in 2020. Having this home back in the family is the fulfillment of a long-held dream. I grew up here, I love it here, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share it with all who may visit.
