This cottage holds a special history, originally serving as a working waterfront for a local lobsterman and later becoming a beloved family retreat after it was purchased by Beverly and Cecil Lilly in the 1970s. Named `The Lilly Pad` by Beverly due to her fondness for frogs, the cottage has been a cherished gathering spot for generations. Inside, you`ll find unique touches that tell the family`s story, including a bluefish painting by Daniel, the eldest grandson and current owner of the home, who helped his grandfather create it at just 3 years old. These personal touches add a heartfelt warmth to this seaside home.

Relax in the sunroom, savor the sea breeze from your private pier, or take a short drive to explore nearby attractions. Visit Hendricks Head Beach for a peaceful walk or swim (10 minutes away), or spend a day at the renowned Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (just 15 minutes away). For dining, shopping, and waterfront adventures, Boothbay Harbor is only a 10-minute drive from the cottage.
