A rare find, this new two bedroom, one bathroom apartment has for almost two centuries been the Victoria Tavern (Vic Tav to locals) - a popular and historical Hobart pub.
The 3rd floor apartment with elevator access retains its 1830’s old world charm, with original floorboards, sloped ceiling and stunning city views. Beautifully designed and styled, every detail of the light-filled space has been created for an effortless stay.

As a nod to its history, the front of the building still boasts the Victoria Tavern signage, reminding us it was one of Tasmania’s oldest and continuously licensed pubs. With rumours of hidden tunnels under the building there are plenty of tales to keep you interested!
You won’t find a better location than this – with Salamanca Place just five minutes walk, and cafes such as Yellow Barnard and Villini just a short stroll away.

Guests have full access and private use of the entire property.

Hobart is an eclectic mix of history and contemporary culture, with a bustling food and arts scene. The apartment is close to everything that Hobart has to offer – restaurants, retail and business district. Start your morning with a selection of incredible coffee and eateries Pigeon Hole Café, Yellow Barnard and Sunbear Coffee.
Treat yourself to the abundance of restaurants and bars along Salamanca Place, just five minutes walk. Travel easily to MONA by taking the ferry from the terminal located just five minutes away.
Getting Around:
Metro Tasmania bus stops are located all over the city to get you around town or nearby areas.
Taxis and Uber are also available, as well as Neuron and Beam scooters to hire via apps.
