Riverside Villa - In the City by the River!

Riverside Villa occupies one of Nelson's most sought after locations - So close to everything yet secluded and peaceful!

Located right on the banks of the Maitai River just 150m from the Nelson i-Site, Nelson's main shopping street, supermarkets and a number of great cafes and restaurants, Trafalgar Park, Queens Gardens and the Centre of NZ! Leave the car behind and head out on foot to enjoy the best of the city or the surrounding riding and walking trails!

With four bedrooms and two bathrooms Riverside Villa is perfect for families, traveling friends or couples wishing for space, comfort and incredible convenience.

Gas radiator central heating system makes this a perfect choice for the colder months of the year!

**Special conditions & notes**:

- Strictly no party, gatherings or venue use. No Smoking. Generally, pets are not permitted, but you are welcome to contact us with details of your pet along with your assurances for the care of the home.

- Car parking - Off-street parking is provided for up to 3 vehicles. The garage is a storage area for the property owner and cannot be used for parking cars. You are however welcome to park bicycles etc inside.

- Max. guest numbers - While sleeping capacity is for up to 9 guests, dining & other amenities are best suited for up to 7 guests.

**Cancellation Policy**:

- Please disregard the "Bookings at this property are non-refundable" information presented on this listing site.

- Cancel anytime up until 3 weeks before arrival for any reason and you'll pay no more than 20% of the booking total + VRBO/affiliate site fees.

a perfect location

Nelson City Centre on the River is a splendid bach accommodation. There's lots of room for a large family or two families on holiday together. The bach is very comfortable, with all the amenities one would want to have in a holiday home. And the location is fabulous. The river walk is just outside the front door, and the city centre is a short walk away. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Great location, plenty of space

This was a lovely clean, tidy and spacious property. Well heated and very well equipped. Wanted for nothing expect a bit more water pressure in the showers and a heater (or underfloor heating) in the ensuite (which was also on the tiny side but fine for a short stay). Lots of space for everyone and the kitchen was really well equipped. Location wise, could not have asked for better! Would love to come back and explore more in summer time.

Amazing location

The house is in a wonderful location. So close to everything yet on a quiet street right by the river. It has everything you could need for a relaxing break. Very well set up with 4 bedrooms and plenty of space for a group. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful house in the best location in Nelson.

We are three women in our sixties who spent a wonderful week at the Riverside Villa in March, 2019. We did a tour of the wineries in Marlborough Sound, we spent a day at Abel Tasman National Park, we rented bikes, we walked, we visited parks, gardens, the markets, the provincial museum, and we ate many wonderful meals at the excellent local restaurants. The location of the house couldn’t be better. It’s in the middle of everything; a couple of minutes walk to coffee shops, restaurants, the visitors’ center, bike rentals, the movie theater. The house is comfortable, well-equipped, safe and quiet, even though it’s centrally located. When we had a small problem with the front door key, the staff were there within minutes to solve the problem. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was superb, and the location could NOT have been better.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was superb, and the location could NOT have been better.. Right in the centre of town, so we didn?t use our cars all weekend.! ..we could go to the East St vegetarian restaurant on both nights, no-one having to worry about who?s going to drive, and stroll back home.. BUT!! also, right on the riverbank, peaceful and wonderful view of the river, walks and strolls or just going across the road to check out the ducks and whitebaiters there. Fabulous!!!
