The Space:
Located in a court setting, within walking distance of the general store, patrolled surf beach (during summer months) and Ned Neale’s spectacular dog-friendly beach, Allgood House is the perfect getaway for family, friends and well-behaved pets, any time of year. This newly built, bright and airy home has stunning polished concrete floors, and features open plan living/kitchen/dining so nobody misses out on the holiday fun.
Set on a north facing block with a large deck for dining and entertaining, you can look forward to firing up the BBQ and chilling-out on the outdoor couches after a fun-filled day at the beach. A large sliding door across the deck drenches the living area in natural light and ocean breeze, a perfect combination of indoor, outdoor living.
The main living space, includes two comfortable 3-seater lounges, a fireplace, and a large Smart TV. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with large fridge/freezer, premium appliances, pantry staples, and a Nespresso pod machine. The dining table can easily accommodate up to 10 guests, with additional space to dine on the deck. A split-system heating and cooling and ceiling fan provide extra comfort whatever the season.
There is a second living space featuring further seating, heating and cooling, Smart TV and a desk set up to work remotely should you need to and enough books, games and puzzles to meet all your entertainment needs. The house is serviced by a great NBN connection with WIFI provided.
Four carpeted bedrooms comfortably sleep a total of 10 guests (11 including trundle) with premium mattresses, block out blinds and portable fans and heaters. The master suite has a king bed, ensuite and WIR. Bedroom 2 - King bed. Bedroom 3 - Treble bunk (queen bottom, king single top). Bedroom 4 - King single bunk and king single bed plus additional single mattress. These bedrooms are serviced by a central bathroom and additional third toilet.
All linen and bedding is provided but please bring your own bath and beach towels.
The garage is kitted out with a selection of bikes for teens/adults, darts, cornhole, boogie boards, and various other outdoor games. There is a well-equipped laundry with washer, dryer, ironing board, and clothes rack.
Be at ease with the fully enclosed, generously sized yard for your pets to roam and kids to play in. Pets are welcome indoors and out, but we ask owners to please be respectful of furniture.
Additionally, Sandy Point has some wonderful Australian native wildlife (including our local koalas who you might spy in the back tree) so we ask that you please help keep them safe by controlling your pets if needed.

- No smoking in the house and please no tents as the lawn has shallow irrigation which may be punctured (10cm below surface of lawn).
- NO SCHOOLIES or BUCKS/HENS NIGHTS
PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area
and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the
premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of
guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking.
PLEASE NOTE: A 2% surcharge applies for all credit card transactions. This charge is NON REFUNDABLE. There will be an additional charge (Service Fee) of $80.00 added on top of your total invoice balance due that may not appear within your original invoice. This charge is also NON REFUNDABLE.
Guest Access:
You have use of the entire house and yard.
Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.
The Neighborhood:
Sandy Point beach (patrolled through the warmer months) and the general store are a pleasant 10-minute walk away.
Ned Neale's all year round off leash dog beach is a 15 minute walk. Other Sandy Point recreation facilities suitable for children and families include the mini golf on the foreshore, the Surf Life Saving Club, childrens playgrounds, tennis courts and a half basketball court.
During summer months the Surf Life Saving Cub opens its doors for afternoon drinks on their deck and meals.
Shallow Inlet, famous for wind surfing and fishing is a short 5-minute drive.
Getting Around:
Sandy Point is a lovely Village to stroll around, however getting beyond this you will need your own car.
If you require electric vehicle charging, there are locations at Sandy Point Mens Shed, Fish Creek + more.
Townships of Fish Creek, Meeniyan, Foster and Toora are all 15-30 minute drives away with great shopping, art galleries, restaurants, pubs and wineries. Accessible to both Wilson's Promontory and South Gippsland beaches, the location makes it an easy drive to the popular Squeaky Beach, Waratah Bay, Walkerville, Inverloch and Port Franklin.
Other Things to Note:
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
Clean water irrigates the lawn of this property, with pipes laid just 10cm below the surface. For this reason, there is to be NO: pitching of tents or portable firepits used.
Please note: there will be a call out fee if we are called out after hours. eg: losing/breaking keys.
