Embrace simplicity and the spirit of the Mediterranean in this quiet & secluded stucco cottage next to a sun drenched classical outdoor pool. Both are hidden in our lush, tranquil backyard garden in Bridgehampton. A perfect getaway for relaxing weekends. 10 min walk to town with lots of restaurants and shops to explore. The Atlantic ocean beaches with wide stretches of beautiful white sand are just a 10 min drive away. Guests are invited to share our garden and non-heated salt water pool with us. Accommodation up to 2 people and we have a strict No-pet policy.

The space
A separate small guest cottage 50 meters from the main house, with a separate private entry if you wish to use a side door, but we encourage you to use our main backyard fence gate. The property is gated, quiet & beautifully kept. The cottage is located next to our large pool, with plenty of separation from the main house. The stained glass window facing the garden, French doors to the pool, and high ceilings all combine to create beautiful mornings no matter what the weather. The cottage main room has a queen size bed, with lounge chairs and a table next to the windows. The attached modern bathroom is fitted with a rain shower head, and beautiful fixtures. There’s no kitchen but you will have a microwave, small fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and electric kettle. Bathroom is equipped with hair dryer and an iron in the closet. There is free on-site parking in the driveway nook. All windows have curtains for your privacy and good sleep.

Guest access
Guests have full access to everything in their suite, as well as the backyard, the gardens, the pool with lounge chairs. And guest privacy is absolutely respected at all times. We work from home with no kids or pets. We are available to answer any questions in person. Regarding pets and service animals, your hosts love them, but they are not allowed due to allergies. This is our home and you will feel welcomed.

We came for a trip to New York City and while there, we wanted to treat ourselves with a little getaway to the Hamptons.We are very lucky, that we got to spend this time in Eunyoung and Mark's beautiful garden cottage in Bridgehampton. There is something absolutely magical about this place and every little detail is designed with a lot of love, taste and a sense of art. We felt very comfortable there, had everything we could wish for and just had the best time. We spent a whole day just by the pool because it is so beautiful and the atmosphere so relaxing. There are many cool restaurants and delis in Bridgehampton with delicious food, so you won't stay hungry for long, too. Also, the beach is not far away and is absolutely stunning. There were even dophins to watch. Eunyoung and Mark are super cool and incredibly kind people, who are fun to be around. We are glad, that we got to meet them and we became friends easily. They of course know a lot about the area and helped us with everything. The only sad thing was, that we eventually had to leave … but we would happily come back any time. Thank you so much for this amazing and memorable hiatus! Lots of love from Germany, Geraldine and Dirk.

Great location and fantastic hosts

We had a lovely sisters weekend in Bridgehampton with Mark and Eun Young. Their space was clean, thoughtful and sweet. The property is outstanding and Mark and Eun Young couldn't have been more kind with their help and recommendations. The bed and pillows are comfortable, the towels thick and cozy and the shower great. We will be back!

Bridgehampton Secret Garden

Magical from the moment we walked into the backyard and saw the perfect landscaping and pool. The cottage and surroundings could not have been more welcoming. The location was close to both town and beach. An easy bike ride to the beach and a fast walk into town. We had a relaxing and fun long weekend thanks to our stay in the magical cottage in the secret garden and pool!

This place was a real find. Went with a close friend for a mini road trip to the Hamptons. The cottage was perfect for two people with all the amenities. We had a quiet, serene 2 night stay. We had access to a beautiful pool right outside our door. The property was beautiful, the cottage was fully renovated and immaculate. Perfect weekend getaway

Me and my friend had a lovely stay at the fairytale guest cottages for a girls weekend getaway. The property is stunning, the hosts were very warm, welcoming and great communication. My husband and I booked Mark and Eunyoung’s guest cottage for our first stay in the Hamptons and we’re so glad we did! The property was stunning and the pool was fabulous! The guest cottage was cozy and the bed very comfortable. Mark and Eunyoung were wonderful hosts- helpful with tips about the area and great restaurant suggestions. They were also very respectful of our privacy and we felt we had our own space. Mark is a very talented artist, and was kind enough to show us some of his work. Would highly recommend this spot. We are a travel-loving couple, living in our beautiful home, an 1895 stucco farmhouse which we turned into our dream home. We love food, art, books, kickboxing, and music. We are looking to let go of our day jobs and concentrate on reaching for our dreams. Mark is a painter, photographer, and musician who loves working on his creative process, and I am a homemaker who loves food, books, and gardening.

We are not fond of cookie cutter places and I hope you will see that our place reflects that experience. We want our home to bring our guests joy, tranquility, and a sense of distance from their ordinary lives; a chance to experience the invigoration of ocean air and the magic of our fairy tale cottage and secret garden.

Access to our private sun-drenched pool steps from the cottage. Our home is located near several ocean beaches in Bridgehampton and bay beaches in Sag Harbor. The closest is Ocean Road Beach only 10 min away by car. We are also walking distance from the Bridgehampton town area with shopping, restaurants, and galleries. A 10 minute drive to Sag Harbor, takes you to an old very charming whaling village, full of shopping, restaurants, and a beautiful bay filled with yachts and beautiful people in season. You might spot a celebrity here and there.
