Located in the Hautes Alpes and deeply in love with our mountains, we offer 10 chalets for rent in Vars and Montgenèvre, accommodating 12 to 24 people. In this listing, we proudly present our La Clautre Chalet, a 160 m² chalet for 16 people, west-facing, and located right on the ski slopes.

Open all year round, we offer weekend and weekly rentals for this chalet. Weekly rentals are available from late December to late March and from early July to late August.

We are a small and dedicated team, always available to assist our guests and ensure an unforgettable stay. We can connect you with service providers for meals or certified instructors for various sports activities, whether the resort is open or closed.

Welcome to La Clautre Chalet, where you can ski directly to and from the chalet. Thanks to the Chalmettes gondola, you can access the entire ski area. Ski schools, shops, and restaurants are all within a short 300m walk. You can park your car in the private chalet parking and leave it untouched throughout your stay.

GUIDED TOUR OF THE CHALET

La Clautre Chalet is spread over 3 levels. Upon entering the chalet, you will find the living room opening onto the dining area, the kitchen, access to the terrace overlooking the slopes, and 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. On the first floor, there are 4 bedrooms, each with its own private shower room.

In the basement, you'll find a complete leisure floor with a cinema room, a dance floor, and a foosball table, perfect for relaxation and enjoyable moments with friends or family.

No car is needed here; you can also arrive by plane or train (TGV) and take the shuttles that reach the resort.

This chalet is located on the ski front in the Montgenèvre resort. Established in 1907, Montgenèvre is the oldest French ski resort, situated near the Franco-Italian border at an altitude of 1860 meters. As part of the Franco-Italian Milky Way ski area, which includes Clavières, San Sicario, Césane, Sestrières, and Sauze d'Oulx (400 km of slopes and 91 ski lifts), the Montgenèvre ski area offers 100 km of slopes and 37 ski lifts.

The resort is located 20 km from the Oulx TGV station (Italy), 100 km from Turin Airport, and 10 km from Briançon.

- It's a cycling paradise! Take a family ride with electric mountain bikes or descend the slopes of the domain with downhill mountain bikes, where the trails are equipped with jumps and turns. More of a road cyclist? Dozens of mountain passes are accessible from the chalet.
- Montgenèvre is a central starting point for all your hikes (hundreds of kilometers!) in the Southern Alps.
- Explore mountain water in all its forms: from pedal boat rides on lakes to natural waterfalls along hiking paths, a hike to a high-altitude lake, or even rafting or inflatable canoeing down the Durance River (watch out, it's wet!)
- For children, here are a few ideas: treetop adventure courses accessible from 5 years old, climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, and don't forget the ping-pong table at the chalet.

SERVICES AT CHALETS HOSSZU:

- Fresh bread and pastries delivery in the morning (available in summer and winter when the bakery is open).
- Possibility of meal deliveries (half-board with caterer or private chef all year round).

- Connection with certified instructors who can accompany you in various sports activities throughout the year, suitable for both beginners and advanced athletes (ski touring, downhill skiing, races, mountaineering, climbing, fat bikes, and more).

During the winter and summer seasons, the chalet is rented from Sunday to Sunday. Weekend rentals are available depending on the period. We accept dogs but unfortunately cannot accommodate cats.
