This beautiful Gulf-front vacation rental unit includes floor to ceiling patio doors in the living room that leads to a large balcony that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. This attractive and appealing vacation rental unit’s other features include granite countertops, a full-size refrigerator, cook top stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. It also has all of the dishes, pots, pans, and utensils necessary to make any meal, snack or dessert that you wish. The master bath has a garden tub with shower. The living room and bedroom have TVs. Other entertainment features in the living room are a DVD player and VCR. All towels and linens for the condo are provided. Please be advised that Waters Edge is not a pet-friendly property.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great place to vacation

Issue with dryer

Don't use the dryer as it is a lot of internal rust and it will ruin your clothes as it did ours with multiple long deep rust stains. The unit also has a musty odor.

The condo was excellent, very clean and looked great. The large sliding doors to the patio were amazing for letting in light and opening up to the best part, the view of the gulf. Would definitely rent there again, convenient to everything.

View from 6th floor great! Setup of the room is good. Nice furniture and appliances. However, room showed not well maintained. Closet door fell out of tracks, lots of drywall damage, ceiling drywall has long crack, A/C quit working (Vacasa very responsive to that), patio door tracks last cleaned/greased probably never, outside patio outlet cover missing and not working, some of the dishes had to be washed again, limited racks to move your belonging in so be prepared to wait 30 min or better or make mulitple trips up/down a busy elevator and finally, no broom to sweep floor or patio, after-hours answering service is non-existent. Some of these may seem picky but at this price, there are expectations to be upheld.

Furniture is out dated throughout the whole unit. TV in bedroom would only work for a few minutes and then go blank and only caption statements would be seen. There’s no keurig…. I did leave some coffee and filters for the next person so they wouldn’t have to worry. Lights in kitchen were not all functional (2). The facility is great! Location is great! Pool and easy access to beach is great! Facility staff is great and maintenance is great! Just the unit itself if outdated and not worth the money we paid.

No second stay

Disappointed

The view was beautiful. BUT upon entering the bedroom I realized right away that I would not be walking barefoot. The carpet was very dirty. Went to get towel matt out of the master bathroom shower and noticed it was very damp and smelled of urine. Notified office of towel and nothing was done. I put it in the extra bathroom but it was never removed. The couch was very worn and sunken to the center. One of the chairs on the balcony was broken and the other 2 were very uncomfortable. The condo needed an update. Our last night there the air conditioning went out. One last thing, the bed was extra firm and the sheets did not fit! The fitted sheet kept coming off.

Nice quick trip

First the positives….The room was very clean and nice upon arrival, and had everything we needed, and everything was working great. The view from the 6th floor balcony is unbeatable. Some older reviewers complained about the mattress in the bedroom, the mattress is firm, but comfortable. Either it’s a newer mattress or some people just don’t like a firm mattress. I sleep on a softer mattress at home, but I though the mattress was nice and comfortable for a firm mattress, it’s sturdy, and you can’t feel any springs or lumps or anything at all. The bunk beds were fine for my 2 younger kids. Some negatives….. the bedroom is small, and has no ceiling fan (glad we brought a small fan with us). We have 2 older kids that were going to sleep on the sofa bed. That’s the worst sofa mattress I’ve ever laid on in my life…I wouldn’t subject anybody to sleep on that thing, it’s like 3” thick and all you feel is springs and metal, it is really really bad. I’ve slept on many sofa beds, sure sofa beds aren’t great, but this one is unbelievably bad, so we got a 20” Queen air mattress with a built in pump from Walmart for pretty cheap, and they slept great on it. Our two main issues were easily resolved for pretty cheap, obviously nothing can be done about the small room size, but the owners should be embarrassed by the lack of a bedroom ceiling fan and the horrible sofa mattress. Overall I would stay here again for a short trip because it is a very nice property in an amazing location with one of the biggest pools on the island and an amazing direct beach view.

Perfect spot to rest and relax

Perfect for my family of four. The view was absolutely ideal and the balcony was a great place to relax after a hard day of travel. Loved that it was steps from the beach. Kids really enjoyed the pool as well. Only drawbacks were that the couch bed was super uncomfortable and one of the chairs on the balcony was broken. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our short trip

I was a little nervous after reading some of the other reviews about the unit being so outdated, but we were coming last minute on a short trip and we care more about location on the beach. The interior is a bit outdated, but we enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. The pool is wonderful, the beach is prestine! We flew and did not rent a car and used uber the entire time, so it was nice to have tom thumb within walking distance. I also loved that beach service was included. Just be aware that they do not reserve the chairs with the unit number or anything. There were a lot of owners in when we stayed and I had to find out that they are the only ones that get their chairs reserved. You will get a chair but may not be front row. Not a huge problem for me because I wake early and have young kids so I was able to get first row, but you have to get out while they are getting chairs out. If you like to sleep in this could get very annoying. More information about this in the description would have been very helpful. Many renters were confused and trying to get information from each other on how it all works. My other negatives is the bed in the master is to small and not very comfortable. Could use a larger bed and better mattress, my husband and I did not sleep well. The kitchen does lack some things as well. Just compared to my other units we have stayed in Ft. Walton. Everything is very basic but we did not need much. We really liked the Waters edge and would definately stay in this complex again. Thank you for the wonderful trip.

Fantastic place!

Wonderful place, great pool. Ceiling fan needed in bedroom, Only saw one roach, and he was near the door, so I think he checked in around the same time as we did! (They are unavoidable in the south) Very clean place. Appreciated the modern fridge with ice maker. Could use bigger TV's. Definitely everything we were looking for!

All good except floors

The view is gorgeous. The pool is clean and lovely. The communication with condo managers was great. The surfaces and linens were clean. The only 2 issues we had were: 1) the floors were vacuumed but desperately needed to be mopped. We had to wear our flip-flops inside the condo because the bottoms of our socks or feet were getting black because the floors were so dirty. 2) the cabinet under the bar that is used to store cleaning supplies had a lock but was unlocked. We have a toddler and we had to push a bar stool up against the door so that our toddler would not get in the cabinet with cleaning chemicals.

Beach family trip

Great View

Loved the property, would be great for small group or family with two children. Slightly disappointed with cleanliness of property. I dropped my sunglasses and when I went to pick them up there was candy under the furniture and sand all over the floor, but other than that this was a wonderful property to stay at. Also I received a text message upon arrival saying to contact Vacasa with any questions or concerns and it gave Vacasa's phone number however when I reached out to Vacasa they told me I needed to call VRBO. So lack of communication with property managment but didn't need them for much.

Texas For Florida

Loved the condo. We had a great view of the ocean and the beautiful pool. Loved having our Chairs and umbrella waiting for us everyday which is included. Bring your salt & pepper, foil, coffee filters and coffee as this is not provided. Would like to see updated patio furniture with cushions too. So nice to sit on the patio and listen to waves.
