Charming new construction cottage with all the upgrades nestled in the woods with lake access. Enjoy the privacy of the woods and the convenience of a 3 minute walk or 1 minute ride to the private, shared dock. Rental includes access to one covered boat slip, with electricity, on new dock with swim up bench. It is located in a bay that is perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Rental also includes access to an indoor bathroom just off the dock for convenience. Neighborhood roads are privately maintained and great for walks or golf cart rides to get closer to nature. Tugaloo State Park is less than 2 miles from our property and has numerous trails for serious hikers. Kayaks, paddle boards and a golf cart provided by owner. Pontoon boats available to rent at nearby marina.

Very nice house

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from Clemson. It was slightly further than we would have liked but we were late to booking so we knew that going into it. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The cable/wi-fi connection was a bit spotty but the owners were quick to respond on how to best remedy this. The house is somewhat remote so we assumed wi-fi might be an issue. Overall it was a lovely weekend. The lake and paddle board, kayak, were an added bonus that we enjoyed.

Fantastic House and stay!

This House is the Best! I Loved my stay. Everything was Fantastic! Only thing was I wish it was on the Lake but they do provide a golf cart to get to the dock which is not to far from house. Will stay here again if I get the chance.

Christmas Stay

The Cottage is beautiful..even more beautiful than the pictures. Large , spacious, cozy. The hosts responded to any questions. The kitchen was fully stocked,bathroom had plenty towels, wash clothes, etc. The lake was within walking distance.. overall a beautiful place to stay and hope to be back in the future. Thank you for having us. 💜

Cutest cleanest perfect sized house

So clean. Had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Love that they put up a Christmas tree it really added a lot to our stay. Check in was super easy. We plan to stay here whenever we go back home to visit our family!

Thanksgiving Fun times

Fantastic house. We had a great time with the family. The boat dock worked to be great. We were able to boat and fish. Had a great big turkey dinner and the kitchen was well stocked for it. We’ll be back in the summer and hopefully again next year!

Great stay for a long weekend

The house was extremely clean, exactly like the pictures, high ceilings, extremely open and spacious, great shower pressure, easy to use the tvs, nice yard for our pup (a small fenced in area might be a nice to have), house felt very private. Quite a windy road, but easy instructions from the owners, we had a bit of trouble with the auto lock during our stay but a key was readily available so we didn’t have an issue, really nice to have a golf cart included with the stay and be able to have lake access in their shared dock. Noteworthy about the location is the limited restaurants within a close distance, but we managed ok. Would certainly stay here again in the future.

Great stay at the lake

Home was well kept up and super clean. Nice location. Lake was just down the road from the house. Very easy to get to with supplied golf cart. We met the owners and they were super nice and attentive.

Perfect place for girls trip!

Ten girls stayed in this house for a long weekend & it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of beds and seating room, with a gorgeous kitchen! We didn’t have great phone signal (which was fine) & the wifi was a little slow with ten of us but we wouldn’t have changed a thing! The dock is in the owners back yard but it’s perfectly set up and very easily accessible. The owners set up a binder with with notes and cleanup instructions as well takeout menus and brochures with local places to eat! It was SO helpful. We loved it here and plan to come back next year. Thank you so much for being such great host!

This newly built home was just perfect!

Nestled in the woods and with nearby (walkable) lake access, our family of eight (plus two pups) immensely enjoyed our weeklong stay. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, boating, and more; if you love the water, this is a must-rent. The home was beautiful and had all the modern conveniences, including a stocked kitchen, gas grill, beverage fridge, laundry room, and golf cart. It was super clean and nicely decorated (but not cluttered with breakable items that so many rentals are). Visit Tugaloo State Park; it's around the corner. Grab a meal (and dessert) at 211 Main Street Restaurant & Bakery or Bella Bella Mozzarella. Rent a pontoon boat. We look forward to another visit; I bet the colorful autumn leaves at this location are amazing!

Beautiful home

Beautiful home tucked in the woods and across from the lake. House was just as pictured. Very quiet, super clean and stocked with just about everything you could need. We enjoyed watching for deer around the property, and even had a fox in the backyard one morning. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Clean and cozy, dock is across & down st though

The home was clean and cozy; it very comfortably slept 2 couples and 5 kids. Added bonus is related property next door for additional family. Boat dock is across street and down the road however golf cart was provided. Hosts very personable.

Amazing Lake Getaway

Our family really enjoyed a long weekend at this adorable, functional and well stocked cottage home. The owners called a few days in advance to welcome us to their rental and run through some logistics. The house has the perfect layout for a vacation home...open kitchen and family room and then 3 private rooms with accompanying bathroom for each. There was actually very helpful "extra" items upon arrival...hand soap throughout, plenty of paper products, trash bags, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, kitchen basics. The house isn't lakefront but don't let that deter you at all becasue they have made arrangements for across the street access at a large dock and even provide a golf cart if you prefer to ride to the dock area. The home was very clean, had an area for our daughter to play outside and the journal of local information was also helpful. We rented a pontoon boat from C&E and the pickup was about 1 mile away and super easy. There are lots of kayaks, paddle boards, floats and fun entertainment at the dock. We haven't ever submitted a review, but I was so pleased that I felt compelled to share a positive review after our stay. We hope other families enjoy as much as we did!

Great place. Love having a golf cart to use.then. The inside looks new.

No issues renting. Just follow instructions and get acquainted with the owners. Ask all the questions you want with them.

Quick long weekend getaway

Kids were heading off to college soon so we had a quick 4 day holiday. Paddle boards and kayaks were great to use. House setup for us was perfect. Had to leave quickly our last morning due to death in the family- let owner know and he was very understanding. We cleaned as best we could given the circumstances.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it is a great place. Brought our boat and kept it at the dock. Our dogs love the big yard. Just a all around enjoyable vacation.

Fantastic Home

Nicest VRBO we've stayed in. Didn't realize it was an interior lot, but the golf cart & the owner made that no problem. Enjoyed our time on the dock, in our boat and in the home.
