Bluhaus is a modern retreat in the quiet Crown Point neighborhood of Pacific Beach, with quick beach access. It was completely gutted, re-designed and featured on the 2019 San Diego Modern Home Tour.

The designer interior has an open floor plan with a European style kitchen, state-of-the-art fixtures, and lots of natural light. Two balconies offer plenty of outdoor space. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms provide comfortable accommodations for up to 4 guests.

ADDITIONAL RULES
The following serves as an addendum to the reservation and rental agreement entered between the parties via VRBO.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE ANY RESERVATION AT ANY TIME IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING RULES ARE VIOLATED.

RESERVATION AND OCCUPANCY
- Within 24 hours of booking, primary guests must submit a picture of their photo ID via VRBO app.
- Maximum occupancy: 4 guests, including all adults, children and infants.
- Only guests who are specified on the reservation are permitted on the property without prior approval.
- NO VISITORS without prior approval.
- Charge of $300 per guest per day/night after 4 guests.
- Reservation may not be resold or sublet.

CHECK-IN
- Check-in starts at 4:00 PM.
- Guest receives detailed check-in information via VRBO app on the day of the scheduled check-in.
- Check-in information will not be released until the primary guests have provided their photo ID via VRBO app.

HOUSE RULES
- Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- ZERO tolerance for disturbing the neighbors.
- NO PARTIES, NO EVENTS, NO GATHERINGS.
- NO PETS: $500 fine.
- NO SMOKING, VAPING or E-CIGARETTES in the condo, on the balconies, or anywhere else on the property: $500 fine.
- The only place to dispose of trash is the bins behind the building. Lock codes are provided inside the unit: $250 fine for leaving trash anywhere else on the property.
- Do not use any of the white towels provided to wipe off make-up: $50 replacement fee.
- Do not tamper with our security cameras, sensors, or the internet: $200 fine per incident per device.
- Misplaced KEYS or GARAGE remote: $250/each.
- If you lock yourself out, or don't follow our instructions for operating the locks, you will be responsible for the cost of any 3rd party services provided.

CARE AND CLEANING SERVICES
- We expect the home to be kept up during your stay (i.e. spills wiped up, garbage and recycling taken out and put in the proper bins behind the building).
- Biohazard material is NOT covered under the cleaning fee.
- Stays of 3 weeks or more require professional cleaning every 2 weeks. There is an additional $175 charge per cleaning.
- In the event our housekeepers indicate that the home has been neglected or damage is occurring from lack of care, we will require weekly cleanings at the guest’s expense. If such is discovered upon checkout, additional fees will apply.

CHECK-OUT
- Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM.
- Late Check Out Fee $50 for every half hour.

Great condo

We loved this condo. The only drawback to the property itself was the guest bath. The tub is deep and actually can be dangerous for an older person to get into. We couldn't use it. Also could use washer/dryer in unit, especially since they provided two washcloths each for a 5 day stay. The coin laundry downstairs was $1.75 per load. I asked manager for extra linen but never received. We had to purchase some.

WORST VACATION EVER- DUE TO HOST!

ZERO STARS!!! Upon arrival we had to call as chk-in instructions were incorrect. Elevators were down 3 out of the 4 days we were there, and we were on the 2nd floor with luggage of course. The host threatened to have us removed from the property within first couple hrs of vacation, due to my family stopping by (1 time for 30 minutes max) and then again numerous threats throughout the entirety of our trip, as she wasn't liking what she was hearing as far as our opinions about her at this point, on her many cameras. Thanksgiving day, due to the elevators being still down, we were literally locked out of the garage where our rental car was, due to the hosts lack of preparation, (dead batteries in garage door opener) having to wait for a fellow tenant to come outside so we could ask them to open it for us, ultimately causing us to be extremely late to our family holiday function. The property was great! It was clean and cozy and a nice location. However, if you are visiting family in the area and expect to have them over, or want to not have your phone calls or personal conversations listened in on, I HIGHLY recommend staying elsewhere. Overall the WORST experience with VRBO

Fantastic property

My wife and I loved our stay here. Exquisitely clean, gorgeous, well stocked condo (especially the kitchen). Snacks were a nice touch. Reserved/secure parking really appreciated. Only a two minute walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean property right next to the beach!

I have been to a few rentals through the years and this one is so well thought out. Attention to details are noted everywhere like chopsticks, to go boxes, well labeled cabinets, etc…. Even snacks they selected are great! Inside is very clean and well maintained. Location is great, just cross the street and walk about 2 minutes, the beach is right there and of course they have chairs and other beach accessories at the place. Communication with the owner has been super easy. Will definitely recommend this and my family will definitely go back. Thank you!!!

Comfortable, modern renovations and very spacious rooms and closet space. Like having garage parking. Only downside (coin) washer/ dryer not in the unit. But! Ensuring else awesome and the host was very responsive.

Great Location

Overall this place was beautiful, fun, and in a great location. They made the check-in process very easy. I greatly appreciated having an underground dedicated parking space. It's very hard to find street parking throughout San Diego so having a dedicated space made a world of difference. Having public beach access directly across the street made it very easy to enjoy the beach. The only cons I have about this space are the lack of A/C and the very hard beds. The description doesn't state the site does not have A/C. I do realize being located right by the beach the temperature is typically cooler making A/C not a high priority. The weekend we went was very warm in the high 80's. When we arrived the space was very hot. It was very hard to cool it down even with the fans on. It never really cooled down making it difficult to sleep at night. The beds were very hard making it difficult to sleep. We all woke up with aching backs. If you like a hard bed this is the space for you. Even with the two cons we would stay here again. We will just stay when it's cooler in weather. The place is perfectly laid out and really fun to be in.

Perfection

Watch the YouTube video they give you, it makes check in so simple. The place was perfect, the tea and snacks were much appreciated after a long flight. The area was quiet. The balcony was perfect even without a view. Plenty of towels. The only complaints I have is that the pillows were too soft and the couch was slightly uncomfy, but if you plan to be out and about then it’s not a deal breaker by any means. I almost didn’t want to write a review simply because I hope to be back soon and hope my time frame is available!
