Originally built in 1895, Granny's Farmhouse is a Queen Anne Victorian beautifully restored and decorated. The house features stained glass windows, period architecture, push button light switches, and is furnished with antiques. There are ten foot ceilings, an updated modern kitchen, skylights, fireplace, and it is located on a working farm with beautiful vistas and 360 degree mountain views. This listing is for the entire main floor of the house which includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The upstairs is available to rent for an additional cost and has 3 more bedrooms which can sleep a total of 6 more people. There is no bathroom upstairs at this time but we plan to add one in the future. Note: the upstairs is not a separate space but is an add-on to the main floor listing to accommodate more guests if needed. Please message me for information on renting the upstairs.

Relaxed, roomy and homey

We stayed for four nights while we accessed Eastern Oregon recreation and found this home base to be very comfy and homey. Our kids enjoyed the yard swing and friendly neighbor dog while also appreciating the architecture and old farmhouse details. The gas fireplace attracted us every evening and we appreciated all of the updated modern amenities in an old Victorian home. The downstairs main bed was extremely comfortable. Looking forwarded to coming back with additional family to share this fun spot.

Thanksgiving getaway

Very nice, comfortable, and great environment. Stayed here to visit my sister’s family that lives in Imbler. Very quiet and quaint. Loved the old decors but has a modern kitchen.

Family Celebration

Love this beautiful farmhouse. We have stayed twice now and will continue to stay here whenever we can. The keeping room is my favorite spot to relax, visit with family and watch all the grands gather around the table.

Beautiful home and a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was conveniently located and was well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for our brief stay and the HVAC system worked well. I would highly recommend this property and plan to stay here again when we are in the area.

Loved it!!

We LOVED staying here. It is beautiful, the history is fantastic, the kitchen has been remodeled. Everything was great. We only stayed for one night to break up our two travel days. It was the perfect stopover and I would book it again. It’s close to a park where my toddler could play and he loved seeing the tractors around. It is definitely not childproofed so we ran around watching him all evening, but the decorations are beautiful. Just a little tricky with toddler hands in such a beautiful antique setting.

Relaxing peaceful and private

Our stay at the Victorian Farmhouse was absolutely delightful. We were warmly greeted by the neighborhood ambassador, a sweet golden doodle, upon arrival. The house was well equipped and was central to the wedding venue and the city of LaGrande. I highly recommend staying here rather than a hotel in LaGrande!

Family event

We were in the area for our Grandson's football game and this was a great place for us to gather afterwards. The setup was perfect for family dinner and games ..plus a little bit of playing with the cute Jenny dog that stopped by for a visit in the yard. A definite winner and will book this again 👍.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was so warm and inviting and my wife loved the history with the farmhouse. We liked being out of town but close enough to get where needed to. One of the best things that helped us out practically was checking out a bit later as we had a later appointment and we got to leave straight for the appointment checking out of the house. I grew up out here on the farm. Then, after 18 years away for college, marriage, and five children, I was able to move back with my family. For a while we had four generations living on the farm, but Granny passed away in 2011 at age 100. Then it was a question of what to do with the old farmhouse. My husband and I offered to take on the project of remodeling and sprucing up the old house so that we could share it with others. It is our hope you will enjoy the beauty of the setting here on the farm and the charm of Granny's lovely home as much as we do!
