Lovely Ludlow
We really enjoyed our stay in Ludlow. We stayed for the month of September. The place was great. There are three levels. The master bed and bath are on the upper level. Along with the loft. It had a queen bed. The main level has two bedrooms – one a queen, the other had a double and bunk beds. The lower level also has two bedrooms – one a king and the other had two twins. The master bath is quite large and looks like it has been renovated. It has a separate shower and bathtub. The bathroom on the main level is in the hallway and is not directly attached to either bedroom. It has a shower. The bathroom on the lower level has an entry from one of the bedrooms and an entry from the hallway. It has a shower. The house was well-equipped, and the appliances worked well. It has a huge living room table and several stools at the peninsula in the kitchen. This was a working vacation for my husband, so he set up his work area in the balcony located outside the master bedroom. From there he had a nice view of the front yard area. The view from the front windows was of the front yard. Unfortunately, we could not see the mountains from the house because the view was obscured by the trees. I set up my computer on one corner of the big kitchen table and enjoyed the view of the front yard. The internet was good, and the speed of the connection was adequate for our purposes. The main level had a wonderful deck and chairs to sit and enjoy the front yard. The deck also had a gas fire pit that we enjoyed several times. The view of the stars at night was wonderful. The living room on the main level had a wood burning fireplace that we made use of several times. The TV in the living room worked well and the sofas were comfortable. The master bedroom also had a TV, but we did not use it. The place does not have a garage but has room to park several cars in the driveway. The laundry room was located on the lower level. The lower level also had a pool table and air hockey table. We did not use these so I cannot comment further. The location of the house was great. It was close to Ludlow. We explored all around southern and middle Vermont. The Ludlow area is beautiful clean, and safe. We had the place to ourselves. No visitors because of Covid and other circumstances. We would recommend this rental especially for larger groups.
