The Cass House is a 3BR/2BA house with full kitchen, dining & living areas. The house sits on 10 acres of land & is surrounded by the Ozark National Forest. You can access the Mulberry River from the property, a short 100-yard walk from the house.

We are centrally located to a variety of outdoor attractions & entertainment. It is located on Hwy 215 and is about 4 mi to Byrd’s Adventure Center, 3 mi to Turner Bend, 3 mi to Mulberry Mountain, and 2 mi to Redding Recreation Area.

The space
The house is 110+ years old and has been renovated throughout the years. The kitchen has been newly updated and is equipped for any cooking/dining needs. The master bathroom has also been updated and includes a whirlpool tub. There is a lot of space for living and dining. The living room includes a fireplace and entertainment center. The Cass House is ideal for families and small groups. Overall, the house is very charming and inviting space with lots of natural light to enjoy with friends and family.

The exterior of the house is surrounded by 2 covered patios and one deck to provide 360 views of the gorgeous natural Ozark National Forest landscape. There is an outdoor grill available as well as an outdoor fire pit. As we are in the Mulberry River Valley, our visitors have been known to catch beautiful sunsets from the back porch. It is a very peaceful and serene setting and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or nightcap when the weather is amicable.

The Cass House is a historic staple in the area and has been home to our family for decades. We invite you to stay here and share in the warmth and natural beauty of the property with your family and friends.

Check in was easy place was clean. Two air conditioners didn’t work, when I reached out to the owner they responded promptly and professionally. Would stay again.

wonderful family trip

we stayed here as a base for exploring the surrounding national parks and countryside and it was amazing. the home is well appointed to be used (we made all our meals without issue) and in a wonderful little valley all to itself. it's right on the river which is beautiful. it's very close to some great hikes though most of the trails are ATV trails so keep your eyes open if you're not riding. there are 2 porches and a deck so you can sip a tea and watch the land any time of day you'd like! would recommend and would stay again. definately would stay again!

30th Anniversary Trip

We had a wonderful time! House was just as described! We took advantage of the shuttle service just down the road and kayaked, rode many miles on OHV trails, and hiked to some waterfalls in the area. This house was centrally located to everything we chose to do. We are already planning a fall trip.

Beautiful house on the Mulberry River

This house and property was everything it advertised! It was a beautiful location with access to the river just beyond the back yard. There were beautiful hiking trails within a few miles and a kayak/canoe rental just down the road. The house easily accommodated our family of five adults with everything we needed in the kitchen for meal prep and serving. It has a lovely fire pit and deck for relaxing evenings. We made the most of it and enjoyed every bit of our time there. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place.

Charming cozy historic home

The kitchen and dining area in this home was perfect for our group of six! It was well stocked for any kind of cooking including a Weber Grill. We enjoyed the side by side trails and appreciated the tip to find the twin falls.

Stay at Mulberry River

The property was in a great location, we rode the trails on our side by side for 3 days. The only issue was the TV, wanted to watch a ball game and the listing said satellite TV which would have been great, but I did not really know how to work the internet TV. Overall stay was good.

Close to all the trails!

We stayed out while the rest of our crew was in campers at mulberry. The place was great and had everything we needed. We had an issue with the fireplace and the owner was quick to help us figure it out. Lots of room to stretch out! Mulberry river buts up to the back of the property.

Good Location !

We ( two couples) enjoyed our stay at Cass House. The home had plenty of room and was clean as well. We did notice a lot of insects in the home, but I’ve noticed that a lot in Arkansas. Don’t let that deter you though, because the area is pure heaven ! The parking was more than adequate with our trailers and side x sides. The home has a really nice deck off the kitchen and a gas grill that worked great. There’s a great fire pit area that we would have liked to use, but we were too tired by evening from all the great riding in the area ! We also enjoyed the side porch in the morning for coffee. I will mention if you’re older and have bad knees the stairs could be quite an issue. Very steep and narrow and this forced us to use the one downstairs bedroom. It has a full size bed and we made the best of it with a sense of humor, but boy was I happy to see our king bed when we got home. The room is also not private with French doors. You can see right through the shades at night if a light is on. The river is a short walk from the house and would be great in the summer. We enjoyed the walk and the views, but it was the wrong time of the year to swim. The kitchen has everything you could ever want, even 3 crockpots which aren’t listed in the amenities. We did miss a baking sheet badly but made due with some 9x13 dishes. All in all I would recommend the house and appreciated the owners great communication.
