Great stay

Location is great, everything is within walking distance and it was quiet in the apartment as it was cooler so the windows were closed. It is a few floors up, and quite a few stairs but they are mostly wide and bright. Apartment itself is well thought through and has all things necessary for a comfy few days stay.

Hello! We loved the apartment! The location is perfect, the place was clean and comfortable -- everything we needed was supplied. Our one and only complaint has to do with the door lock. While having a combination lock is fine, we did wonder how we would get out of the mechanism failed. There should be a back-up key in case of emergency.

STAY HERE!

There were 4 adults and a busy baby in our group. It was so nice to have the baby bed and high chair. And plenty of space for us adults to spread out. We loved the location, too! Great restaurants and dessert shops in the street below, quick walk to beautiful views (and many parks for the baby to play), and a short distance from the city center. If we were to visit Annecy again, we would absolutely stay here!!

Brilliant location and lovely apartment

Absolutely superb place with all you need for a stay. Apartment was clean and spacious, with good facilities for self catering and greatly situated for Annecy town and the lake. The only negative would be (our fault for not checking) we would have preferred Air Conditioning as it’s summer - especially as there is some noise from the streets at weekends if you leave the windows open for air! Would love to come and stay again - can’t give a higher recommendation than this.

Great location and ambience. It was well outfitted and well taken care of. A good hike up the 4 flights of stairs for some and the rooms were pretty hot until late in the night/early in the morning during our stay in August. Parking at arrival was challenging to find, but once we found the car park that offered passes about 1 1/2 blocks from the apartment, it was not too bad after that.

Spacious apartment in great location

Lovely central location in the old town. Bonlieu car park only a couple of minutes’ walk away. Nice spacious place, well appointed with high quality equipment, very handy to have washing and ironing facilities also. We visited in mid August in hot weather and the apartment was hot inside, although fans were provided for all areas which really helped.

Wonderful stay!

The apartment was beautiful and perfectly equipped. The location was excellent with a lovely buzz from the restaurants below; but if you’re wanting somewhere especially quiet this won’t be for you. Given the time of year, we were grateful for the provision of fans to generate a bit of air flow. All the beds were comfortable and there was nothing we needed that wasn’t already provided. We loved staying and would definitely return. Communication with Stephanie and Jean-Pierre was clear and straightforward at all stages.

Great Place to Visit Annecy

We had a great stay! There was a parking garage nearby, and everything was in walking distance. We loved returning to the apartment after a day of biking around the lake. We didn't mind the 4 flights up, because the apartment and location are very unique, and in the old town. We were also very happy with the cleanliness of the apartment. I am particular about that. Charming and Great Location

Much care has been spent by the owners on the apt. Great location in old town close to shops, restaurants and the lake. Very clean. Note: 4 flights of stairs. Highly recommend. Great place. It was nice to have both washer and dryer, and toilet is separate from shower and sink which was convenient with 4 people sharing.

Everything was perfect

Paper towels. We ve been renting from Vrbo for over 10 years and have never checked into a European trip where there were paper towels. That’s the attention to detail to insure renters are happy. When I first received the contract and 27 page, what you need to know, book, I sighed. But printed it off and it was appreciated for its thoroughness. The unit was modern, clean and well supplied. We couldn’t have been happier.

Everything was just wonderful and clean! Wish the listing while have mentioned that it was on the 5th floor with no elevator. With no AC, an extra fan or 2 in the living room/kitchen area would have been great. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. I recently stayed at an apartment in Lake Annecy, which had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic—very central, with easy access to the lake, shops, and restaurants. This made it convenient to explore the area and enjoy the local amenities. The apartment was extremely hot, especially at night. Although it was disclosed that there was no air conditioning, the heat made it almost impossible to sleep. Additionally, there was a lot of street noise throughout the night from the restaurants down below and early morning trash pick-up was very loud, further disrupting our sleep. While the central location was a big plus, the lack of air conditioning and the noise levels were bothersome.

Great for families

Annecy is an incredible location for active families (teens aged 12,14,14) who love great food, the our doors, history, scenery and an authentic experience. As most of the reviews say the climb with luggage is a bit challenging but once settled in it’s an incredible, easy to use, modern apartment with everything a teenage family needs. We stayed for three nights over a weekend - parked the car 200m away and used the local website to pay for street parking - free in Sundays. We found the 27 pages of instructions a little daunting but helpful and everything has been thought of to help with family logistics. Cooking, laundry, drying etc generous body products and very comfy beds. We cycled the lake twice. Visited the incredible Sunday markets. Walked the streets and soaked up the atmosphere on the lake front. Great value and extremely central.

The best place on earth!

Our time in Annecy was spectacular and it is now my favorite place on earth. Jean-Pierre was so helpful and the apartment is spectacular; our favorite in a month in Europe across five countries. It is four difficult flights of stairs, but as long as you’re able-bodied, you will love it and it has everything you need for a great stay. We stayed during a very hot week, and our only complaint was that there isnt’ AC and we had three fans, but they weren’t quite keeping the place cool enough. So perhaps a few additional fans would have helped. Outside of this, I cooked several meals and everything was so well laid out. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is pristine! We had a wonderful time biking around the lake and hired bikes at Cyclable Annecy. We highly recommend the Faux Filet house speciality at L’Etage for dinner just below the apartment, and the Mussels Mariners across the street at L’Abbaye.

Tolle Wohnung im Zentrum von Annecy - Nähe See

Eine tolle Wohnung im Zentrum von Annecy - die Wohnung liegt in einer zentralen Fussgängerzone (rue de Paquier) und befindet sich im obersten Stockwerk, und ist aussergewöhnlich ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig und modern, Betten sehr bequem. Die Kommunikation mit Jean-Pierre und Stephanie war unkompliziert und sie waren sehr reaktiv und ausgesprochen sympatisch. Das Auto kann auf einem nahegelegenen, öffentlichen Parkplatz geparkt werden (4 Tage Abo ca. 45), der Parkplatz hat Ladestationen für E- Autos. Wir können diese Wohnung zu 100% empfehlen und kommen bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Annecy auf jeden Fall wieder in die Wohnung von Jean Pierre und Stephanie.
