Wonderful Condo!

Great condo. Perfect size for 2 people or 4. Everything was provided - view was great - great beach feel - nice TVs. The Aircondition worked well and so did the washer / dryer. Couldn’t ask for a better condo for the size. Will plan to revisit!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love coming to the Aqua. This was our 5th time. Our accommodations were nice. The one thing that could use improvement was the floors were not vacuumed or swept properly and the windows and mirrors were quite messy, still had hand prints,and smears from prior guests. Other than that the room as a whole was pretty nice. They have changed the check in and out times for more cleaning time. But seems to me they aren't utilizing their time management for cleaning properly. Elevators were not running properly either.

Review of Aqua 1406

This unit was nicely decorated however it didn’t live up to expectations. The floor was dirty and we had to sweep the entire condo upon arrival! We have pictures. There was no curtains in the living room which was a big problem with people sleeping in there. (I never noticed in the picture there were no curtains considering there has always been curtains in all the units we stay in.) There was a collection of 6 pictures in the dining room and one was missing. The towel holder in the second bathroom came off the wall when someone used the towel. The shower in the master bathroom flooded and my husband cleaned the drain. Maintenance was called and more towels were brought because we had to use our towels to dry the floor. The guy who brought the towels did not knock and proceeded to come in with towels while we were there getting dressed. A chair in the master bedroom had a problem with the cushion. And the trash can in the kitchen is entirely too small. We have stayed at Aqua at least 10 years in a row and this experience was probably the worst one to date.

The Aqua - July 24-31

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The elevator issue is unacceptable. We were told by multiple employees ( housekeeping & security) & a condo owner that the elevators have not worked since March !! It took over 2 hours on Saturday to our luggage up to our condo. If you have an upcoming reservation at The Aqua I highly recommend you consider canceling it. The amount of time you will waist waiting on the elevator is incredible, not to mention every elevator is completely packed with people. We were not told of the elevator issue until we received a text message with the door & gate codes about 2 hours prior to arrival.

Nice Stay, Limited Parking

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was nice, clean & in a great location. However, we came with family as this was a family vacation. We had several units in this same resort, therefore, we rented a bus and there was ZERO parking for the bus. The resort front office closed at 5:pm (check in was 5pm-go figure) but we luckily ran into staff & We were given a name of a storage facility that closed @ 5pm also, which meant we spent over an hr driving around asking other hotels with outside parking if we could pay to park. We finally got parking and enjoyed the rest of our stay. In addition, check in was VERY convenient.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful unit! Very well decorated with comfortable furnishings. I usually feel cramped in beach condos, but this one was very spacious. The balcony was my favorite part! Most condos have chairs and a table on the balcony, but this one had loungers with side tables (and two chairs) and a fabulous rug, so we were able to lay out on the balcony and get sun one day when we didn't feel like hauling our beach gear downstairs. Check-in was very efficient and customer service response was very prompt and thorough. There is only one thing I would change about the entire experience - there were no clocks in the unit, so I was constantly having to search for my phone to tell the time. Besides that one thing, it was wonderful!

Great time at a great place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd year visiting PCB. 2nd stay at Aqua. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Check in was virtual this year which actually was very nice. Room was clean and we were happy and surprised to see our room came with small boogie boards and beach chairs in the room to use. A small extra like this is wonderful! We love how close this is to the pier so we can shop and have a few drinks. We drove into Destin one day for outlet shopping when it was double red flag day. Time on the beach, time by the pool, shopping, eating, hanging inside the condo and time with my family...all I need!
