Best Location

Beach wasnt crowded at all and you can have your sun shades/canopy unlike Destin beaches. The location of the condo is on an easy to find street and isn't crowded with traffic. Easy drive to shopping and restaurants. Condo was the perfect size for our group of adults with 5 kids under 12. Laundry in unit so you don't have to head home with laundry to do after vacation. Bedrooms and linens were comfy and clean. Definitely will be coming back again and would highly recommend this location to stay.

Awesome spot!

We really enjoyed out stay here in Destin! The condo was exactly as pictured, and the communication with the property managers was great. We had one issue with the slider lock breaking, but we contacted them and they were out the next day to fix it! Cannot wait to come back!

Great stay!

We enjoyed this beautiful condo! It was clean for the most part but certain areas did not get the attention it needed. The bathtub had black residue in the tub and there was food crumbs on the counter. Other than that it was all great.

Great location and beautiful ocean views. Could use some updating, bathrooms and carpeting. Kitchen was nice and well stocked with necessities. The ice maker was not working though. Even with these minors issues we had a wonderful stay.

Excellent!

My family was more than pleased with the property! It was perfect for our family of 5! The beds were comfortable, the layout was great and we had plenty of room! It was easy to access with a Publix grocery store just a few minutes away! The condo was in excellent condition and had everything we needed! It was a little cool when we were there and it was nice that the pool was heated so the kids could swim. I would highly recommend this condo! We will be back!

Lovely rental

Our stay was great! The condo is as described online. Great view, the pool was fantastic. We also loved that the owners provided beach and sand toys. The beach chairs and umbrella set up on the beach was wonderful. We did have some minor things happen that we did have to call about. We had 3 bulbs burnt out and there was a very big stain the comforter. The issues were taken care of within a few hours. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable a d we would stay again if we are back in this area.

Nice place

Nice but cute lace to stay. Great location, right down the road for shops and restaurants! Pool was nice. Beach was easy to get to. They do provide wagon, chairs and toys, which was left on patio all Sandy. So didn’t get to use Half the patio. The shower curtain hook need to be updated, they will not stay one. I would suggest you take house shoes cause the carpet in the master bedroom will turn you feet black.

Great location, but condo needs some touch up.

Great location, great views of and access to the beach. The condo was a bit unmaintained. There was paint pealing off the ceiling/wall, there were light fixtures missing bulbs or with burnt out bulbs. There are easy fixes and would have improved the appearance of the condo greatly. I don't know if this is typical for Florida, but there were no condiments, starter coffee etc...including salt and pepper. It wasn't a big deal, just inconvenient. The management company was great to deal with!

Noise and garbage

The condo above us was extremely noisy regardless of the noise complaints made. They threw garbage over the balcony. Also renting a beach chair and umbrella was said to be complimentary but wasn’t. 300.00 to rent 4 for 5 days. This was all communicated and said to be working on, but never was.

Good location, but updates needed.

Check in was super easy with a digital code that was sent to us ahead of time. However, checkout was a little frustrating as our code stopped working (was turned off or expired) a whole hour before checkout time (10am), so while loading our vehicle, we were locked out of our unit. Then, the cleaning lady arrived at 930am and stood by our front door for 30 mins while we were carrying items out to our vehicle. Again, check out was 10am, not 930. :( The unit itself was nice & spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with all necessary small appliances, silverware, etc, which was nice/helpful. We used the crockpot a few times and coffee pot of course. Parking can be tricky as most all the spots are on a very steep incline, but that is unavoidable. :) The unit itself could definitely use some updates. Cracked floor tiles in master bath, old towels bars missing, but brackets still there, doorknob on master bedroom is falling off. Hallway bathroom has HOT water ran to the toilet instead of cold so it condensated all the time. Lock on hallway bath also doesn’t work/sticks. Bathtub drain in back bedroom bathroom does not drain. The grout on kitchen floor tiles was really dirty/gross. Drawer in fridge is broken with sharp plastic sticking out. I liked that the bedrooms were carpeted, but they could've used a cleaning. The unit had a ton of sand toys & wagon which we enjoyed! Washer & dryer was huge plus also as we were there for softball so we did utilize it frequently.

The condo, weather, location was as good as it gets. We seemed to have a perfect combination. It was a great time for our mothers 80th birthday. The management was super, they kept in contact to make sure we were satisfied and had settled in comfortably.

Our Stay: The Good & the Bad

July 16, 2021 We stayed at Emerald Towers West unit #1005 -Ft Walton Beach, FL The Good: This condo was Very clean.!! The kitchen, dining & living room areas were excellent.. The stainless steel appliances & living room & dining room were on point, very impressive.. The balcony ocean view was superb and the location was great!! The Bad:: Even though the condo was very clean, there were some disappoints that cleaning cannot fix………. The outside of the door entrance was mot a good look.. The door to enter the condo along with the area around the door needs to be painted & cleaned up. The bathroom fixtures are old & need to be replaced.. The shower curtains are literally tearing & falling apart & the rod for the shower curtains are rusted.. I could hardly believe my eyes.. As for the bedrooms, the bed covers are all old & needs new comforter sets or bed covers on all beds and two of the bedrooms have televisions that are entirely too small.. As for the beach chairs, umbrella & cooler, these items were all rusted & filthy & should be thrown out & replaced…. This condo is too costly per night for any guest to encounter the list of disappointments that I have shared with you and what’s worst, it doesn’t cost much to take care of these things which means my family and I should not have had to deal with these issues… I’m sorry that we did…
