Charmantes Steinhaus aus den 1940er Jahren im Herzen von Nord-Virginia. Gemütlich und warm und nur 20 Minuten von der Hauptstadt unserer Nation entfernt. Großer Garten für Kinder und draußen unterhaltsam. Zu den Annehmlichkeiten im Freien zählen zwei Sitzbereiche auf der Terrasse, eine Feuerstelle, ein Gasgrill und ein Whirlpool. Great house with plenty of supplies. Perfect for any out of state visitors.

We loved the house and the location. The property manager was really nice. Great communication. I have to say this house is great for big families. The property manager makes sure everything is stocked and has plenty of supplies. Highly recommend this house for anyone traveling to Virginia.

Amazing Location!!

This house is located so close to everything and the price is unbeatable! The house is very well stocked and has meaningful upgrades! This house would be perfect for pets. 10/10 We will be staying again!

Nicest rental we’ve ever stayed in!

This house was like a home away from home, especially traveling with 3 kids (4.5, 2.5 and 3mo) and 3 dogs! This house had everything and was not even just comfortable but luxurious! The master suite was perfection. Bed like a cloudy and adjustable. The kitchen actually had everything you could need and want. Great appliances and just a really nice set up. Even had nice thick toilet paper! This place is a hidden gem. The house was so open and bright. The backyard was such a nice tough especially for the dogs the enjoy not being leashed up all weekend! Being that my sister lives in DC, this will now be the place we stay each time. What a great time!

Great place to stay outside the city

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Easy access to metro station to get around the city. We came for the Marine Corp Marathon. This cottage made our stay easy and comfortable! We would definitely recommend.

Great Location - Close to Everything

We had a lovely stay in Andrew’s home. Andrew was very responsive to my questions. The home was extremely clean with very nice towels and linens. The kitchen had everything we needed as we ate all of our breakfasts there and some of our dinners. My service dog, Stellar, really enjoyed the fenced yard as he doesn’t have one at home. I would 100% recommend this home especially if you are planning on visiting places outside of the National Mall area. Having a close metro station is also a plus. The exit instructions were minimal which we appreciated after a busy week. Thank you Andrew for letting us stay at your house. Leigh Ann

Washington Fall Trip

This home is by far the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in anywhere and well situated to travel via any type of transportation to DC for any and all sightseeing. Quiet area, comfortable and great kitchen. Also very comfortable beds. We would most definitely stay here again and recommend this home to friends. The owner communicates well Thank you Drew!

Perfect place for what we needed

My wife and a small group of friends stayed here over a weekend. I can’t say enough good things about this property. The house is beautiful and is in a good neighborhood. The patio and backyard area take it over the top. The host was very communicative. We made a great decision to stay here.

Great Place to Stay While Visiting DC

This home is a great place to stay! It’s a great neighborhood. Not only is the house spacious and the backyard is too! The kitchen has lots of room if you like to cook. The master bedroom and bathroom are great if you don’t travel light, like me. The bed will n the master is soft and comfy! Overall, this place gets 5 stars from me!

Our stay here was amazing. The master bath is to die for and the beds were very comfortable. Great location with just a short drive to the metro or downtown. Highly recommend!

Special family get together

The house is beautiful and on a really big lot with excellent backyard potential We were only there for two nights and they may have been the hottest of the entire year being in the high 90s and reaching 100° one day So we were not able to enjoy a whole lot of outdoor activities The cushions that go on the patio furniture were very stinky There was an ongoing issue with the AC Nest system. Was in contact with host a few times to request adjustment of thermostat Temperature in house finally cooled in the early morning hours of the day we left Host had two small fans delivered to the house, a very thoughtful gesture but size of the fans were just so small they didn't quite make the difference we needed Overall rating is 4 out of 5 stars because of how pretty the house is and stocked very well with everything you would need Three things to consider: possible AC difficulty, the bed in the master is like sleeping in a hammock, sunken in the center, and the outdoor cushions are quite stinky... But if it's almost 100° who's hanging outside anyway! Lol We enjoyed our time there and would rent again in the future providing AC and bed were fixed ❤️

Awesome location!

Weekend trip to visit family in the area and were so excited to be able to stay in this wondeful home! The description was great but it actually exceeded our expectations. Very clean, beds were super comfortable, and the prime location made this cottage a total win for us.

Fantastic family location

Traveling the east coast with my family of 5 and wanted to visit DC for a few days but commute from a safe neighborhood outside the city. This perfectly fit our needs. It was only about 20-25 minutes to the National Mall using non toll roads. There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The yard space was much larger than I would have thought from the pictures. Made for a great space for the children to chase firefly’s in the evening when we were back at the house. The home was very well stocked with everything you need for cooking, showering and plenty of toilet paper and paper towels which in my experiences is above and beyond the average. Beds were very comfortable, house was clean and we have no complaints at all. The host immediately responded when I did have one question. Made me aware when the landscapers were coming. Definitely would utilize this house again in a few years when we visit the area again.

Nice, well-located, slightly quirky house with a wood smoke issue

This is a well-located house, not too far from the Metro and highways. It has a large fenced yard. The master bedroom suite is newer and very nice with a large closet; the other two bedrooms are a little quirky in how they are connected to their shared bathroom and each other. The kitchen is well-stocked and nice. Major issue is that the large fireplace in the living room (which we did not use) has been used in a way that has left the whole house smelling of wood smoke, which we did not find pleasant. (The owner left instructions for those who use the fireplace to ensure that the flue was open; but either they did not follow those instructions, or the wood-burning fireplace just continues to vent enough to discolor the paint above it and create a lasting odor.)

Quaint House Great patio

Super stay at a lovely cottage in Annandale. Clean house with ample room. Primary bath is fantastic as is the patio. We had great weather and spent each evening winding down the day in the serene backyard setting. House is close to everything with any needed amenity within minutes.
