Located on the 4th floor (no elevator) of a stone building built in 1894, the apartment comprises a living room, separate kitchen, two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a 10 m² balcony. The apartment is composed as follows:
- A large, light-filled living room with sofa, flat-screen TV and dining table
- A separate, fully-equipped kitchen: fridge, gas stove, microwave oven and conventional oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and numerous kitchen utensils
- Two large bedrooms with double beds (140)
- Each bedroom has its own bathroom with Italian shower or bathtub and separate toilet.
The apartment is ideally located in the heart of Bordeaux, between the St Pierre and St Michel districts, with shops and restaurants nearby.
Transportation:
If you choose to come by car, you can park in the public pay parking lot “le Victor Hugo” 300m from the accommodation.

A little history!
The Porte de Bourgogne is located at the end of the former Salinières moat, now the Cours Victor-Hugo (formerly Rue des Fossés), on the site of the former medieval Porte des Salinières. It marks the city's official entrance on the ancient road leading to Paris. Tourny wanted it to accompany the Place Royale (now Place de la Bourse), and consecrated it to Prince Monseigneur le Duc de Bourgogne on January 24, 1757.
For a time, it was the Porte Napoléon to celebrate the Emperor's arrival in Bordeaux in 1808.
