Schönes Cottage im Key West-Stil am ruhigen Kanal in Steinhatchee, Florida. Das Cottage befindet sich an einem Gezeitenkanal (geeignet für bis zu 20 Fuß (20 Fuß)) Flats Boat W / No Top oder Half Windshield oder Jon Boat, Floating Dock mit Zugang zum Golf in 10 Minuten (No Wake Zone). Ich habe eine Vereinbarung mit einem Nachbarn, der direkt am Fluss liegt und nasse Ausrutscher für Boote jeder Größe hat. Meine Mieter würden sich direkt mit dem Nachbarn in Verbindung setzen, sobald Reservierungen vorgenommen wurden. AUSSERDEM KÖNNEN MEINE GÄSTE IHR FAHRZEUG ZUM HAUS FAHREN UND ES SICHER AUF IHREM EIGENTUM PARKEN LASSEN, WÄHREND SIE AUF DEM WASSER SIND. MEINE GÄSTE HABEN ÜBER DIESE AMENITÄT GEWUNDERT.
Nach einem Tag auf dem Wasser hüpfen Sie einfach in einer Minute vom Boot zum Fahrzeug und wieder zu Hause. Auf meinem Grundstück gibt es Platz zum Abstellen Ihres Bootsanhängers und einiger Fahrzeuge auf dem Grundstück. ICH HABE EINE FISCHREINIGUNGSSTATION IN MEINEM HAUS AM KANAL HINTER MEINEM HAUS MIT VIEL RAUM, UM SICH AUF DEM DOCK ZU ENTSPANNEN. SCHWINGEN. HÄNGEMATTE ODER HÄNGEMATTENSCHWINGE. EIN NEU GEBAUTES FIREPIT- UND AUSSEN-ESSTISCH-SND-HOLZKOHLE-GRILL.
Naturparadies für einige der besten Salz- und Süßwasserangeln, Kanufahren und Muscheln in Florida. Wunderschön dekoriert mit einer abgeschirmten Veranda, Balkon, Fernseher in allen Zimmern, voll ausgestattete Küche. Schlaf 6 in den Betten. Nur eine 10-minütige Bootsfahrt (keine Spur) zum Golf. .5 Meile und weniger von Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäft, Dollar General und Bootsrampe. ungefähr 1 Meile zu allem, was Steinhatchee zu bieten hat. Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr privaten Gegend von Steinhatchee.

Good Weekend

Quick weekend trip to Steinhatchee. The house was perfect. Nice, clean, and quiet. Everything needed was onsite. The location is great. Walking distance to Kathi's restaurant and 5 minute drive to the marinas. I hope to spend more time there in the future.

Love Steinhatchee

We had a great time and enjoyed the convenience of being on a canal with access to the Gulf. Scalloping was awesome as usual. This was a very comfy place to stay, had all the necessities, and the owner was very attentive during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. Wonderful experience!

As Advertised

A group of 5 of us stayed here the weekend and it was perfect. The AC got cold and water pressure was great after a day on the water. The ride through the canal is about 5 minutes but note that we were topped out with a 21 foot boat. Be cautious of the tides. The property was located behind Kathy’s and was very convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Hideaway

Michael did a great job communicating and answered all questions I had. The home is quiet and hidden so you don’t have to worry about tons of traffic coming back and forth. Definitely recommend and will stay again.

Nice spot!

6 of us stayed here to go scalloping. Overall this was a great place. But the pullout sofa mattress was very uncomfortable. Would recommend it for 4 adults. The beds were very comfy and the bedrooms were roomy. We would stay here again, but just if it were 4.

Bungalow Life

The bungalow was clean and ready for our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked and we had everything we needed for cooking. We also enjoyed local seafood at Kathi's Krab Shack located nearby. The screened porch was a great place to hang out after a day of fishing! We would love to return.

Really nice place

Had a Great time at the place. It was nice and private, the house was clean and well maintained. It had a little canal in the back yard that was great for a small boat like mine. We saw two giant Owls which was really cool on the property. Its about a 15 min ride out to the cut where you can get your fish on. The Host was friendly and nice and communicated well with us on everything. I would stay here again when I come back.

Relaxing and Quiet

The house was great. It was clean and furnished for comfort. We loved the front screen porch and spent most of our time there. The back was also nice and was able to do a little fishing from the dock. The owner is fantastic and is very quick to answer any questions you may have about anything in regards to the house. We will definitely be coming back to this house next year. We have rented a couple of different houses now in Steinhatchee and this one is by far our favorite.

A lot of money for a basic home and many many issues...

We came in for Father's Day and the owner was really great about responding to our questions and getting us information we requested about the area. We paid extra for a deep water dock for the rental boat we arranged. The dock belonged to a friend and when we drove by the night before there was a truck with a flat tire and party debris on the ground. We could not see the dock and felt really uncomfortable approaching some homeowner we did not know to figure out where to dock our rental.... The house was basic and the furniture in the living room was like from a college campus house. One recliner chair had duct tape in two places on the seat. The master bedroom had a TV and two remotes but no cable box - it took 20 minutes to discover there was no working TV. We inquired the next day with the owner and he said he would contact the cable company and get on that soon... The entire home had notes in sharpie marker to let you know what the light switches were attached to, what to do with the shower buttons, how the water heater was limited and would be depleted quickly if you chose to do laundry, how to use the toaster... the notes were endless. He locked up the main closets in the master bedroom and put a bar with a sheet covering to create a closet and had labels made for this area to indicate this was our closet. The washer/dryer in the guest bathroom were jammed behind the bathroom door so you could not get dryer items out unless you closed the bathroom door - you got to do a dance with the doors with every load... The mosquitos were pretty marked since we abutted a canal in the back yard. This was explained in the property description but we had to run to get into the car and the house to avoid the attacks all day - much worse than we anticipated. The towels had stains on them (looked like huge rust stains?). The shower had a teeny tiny head and gave limited hot water spray (about 20 minutes and there were four of us sharing the home!). It had a small living room for the four of us and the kitchen floor was uneven. All in all, it definitely was not one of our favorite properties and we have traveled extensively with VRBO nationwide. We loved Roy's restaurant and the local scallop shuckers we found on 2nd avenue. We loved having our golf cart available and enjoyed exploring the area again. We will definitely return to Steinhatchee but we will unfortunately not return to this property. Nice owner - bad rental home....

From Valdosta Ga. and purchased as a second home to go offshore fishing. Also enjoy fishing the river and inshore fishing along with scalloping. The home makes a great get away to relax and enjoy the many water and non water activities or simply spend time relaxing. Community does not have one stop light. I find many of the same renters coming back each year along with new ones as well. They tell me the house is always immaculate and kept freshly decorated and the location is the best. Give us a try and see how you like it.

One of the best areas in Steinhatchee and property is located only 10 minutes via boat to the Gulf (no wake ride). Yard is partially fenced in offering landscaping, private dock and floating dock to use Kayaks or Jon Boats. Private yard large enough to park your boat trailer. Dock is excellent area to relax and cook out or enjoy the firepit. There is a fish cleaning station on the dock. Home offers a large screened in porch and the master bedroom has a King size bed and a comfortable couch to relax while watching TV. Master Bedroom has a private balcony overlooking the canal with outside patio set to enjoy a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage. House is fully equipped with all amenities. High speed fiber internet with large Smart TV's in both bedrooms and living room with Firesticks and Youtube TV. Very clean, immaculate and furnished/decorated nicely.

Nature fully exposed with river, wildlife, Gulf and beautiful sunsets! Several state parks are only a few miles drive to spend the day. The small community is blessed to have a Grocery store, several convenience stores and a Dollar General. If you need a charter for any water activity, they are always available and at great rates. Also you will find many locals who are ready to clean your catch of the day, from inshore, offshore fish and scallops. There are several great landmark restaurants located within a mile of our house. Several full service marinas to launch your boat or get fuel and bait/ice. Also available are rentals for boats, Kayaks and Golf carts so you can fully enjoy your vacation. Night time is always an adventure with a couple of local hot spots usually offering live bands and/or karaoke and the location is close or on the water with outside Tiki style bars. My property is surrounded by nature that encompasses large Oak trees, Cypress trees and many other natural elements great for exploring or photography.
