Carolina Tides is a modern, two-bedroom, two-bath beach villa located on Oak Island NC. We have a well-supplied kitchen, cable TV, WiFi, washer / dryer, direct beach access, seasonal swimming pool & hot tub (seasonal, April 15 thru October 15), elevator, free parking and much more. This villa is an end-unit on the quiet side with lots of natural light. Our complex is in the perfect "vacation location", directly across from the new Yaupon Beach Fishing Pier, Koko Cabana bar and restaurant, and the Lazy Turtle Bar and Grille just a block away. Also, less than a mile to the East is Oak Island Golf Club and their new Duffer's Pub and Grille. Enjoy palm trees and beach views right from your porch. There is also a shared outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Oak Island Lighthouse is about a three mile walk along the beach to the East. Just off the island is the beautiful and historic town of Southport, NC.

*PLEASE NOTE:
1) Our HOA prohibits boats, trailers and golf carts on the property. We apologize if this is an issue but we are unable to accommodate any type of trailer.
2) We have a pull-out Queen-sized couch and can sleep up to 6 guests. However, our linen contract only provides for the two bedrooms and 4 guests. If your party has up to 6 guests, you can use the pull-out couch but you will need to bring your own queen sized linens, pillow cases and bath towels for the additional guests above 4. Please message me for details.
3) No pets.

Welcoming in 2025!

We have been coming to OKI for many years now but first time over New Years. We love Eric’s place! Exceptionally clean, easy check in, and a great location! The condo is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Eric is also an excellent host! He makes sure you have what you need! Before we came, I asked him if he had a crock pot and he was sure there was one but if there wasn’t he would have had one sent!! Thank you Eric for sharing your place and we will definitely be back!!

Family Together Time

The great condo and super location made our family get away terrific. The higher end condo has super nice appliances, a superb, furnished kitchen, and comfortable bathrooms. The bottom level with underneath parking made access easy. We enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the Oak Island Pier. It is a nice pier with good fishing, an attached shop and an attached restaurant - the Koko Cabana. We watched the waves and the beach while eating great food at the Koko Cabana! Also, Shagger Jacks restaurant, our favorite, is right around the corner from the complex. A number of other restaurants and other retail facilities are nearby. We look forward to returning soon!

Carolina Tides

Carolina Tides is a great place to stay. The accommodations are top notch and the owner is top notch as well. The location is the best part of staying at Carolina tides. You have the beach, restaurants, and the fishing pier just across the street. I for one will be coming back to Oak Island and Carolina Tides will be the 1st place I check for availability.i could go on and on, but I think you get the drift. Beautiful condo at oak island

Beautiful condo located in a great area of yupon dunes. The area is walking distance to the beach with easy access and a great area to take walks. The condo is exactly how the pictures and descriptions describe with anything you would need for the week to keep you comfortable. The host was extremely accommodating and even allowed us to check in earlier than the check in time since the cleaning was complete. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back!

Awesome location!

This condo is a very short walk from the ocean! The unit was very clean, well stocked, and nicely decorayed. Eric was a wonderful communicator and I appreciated the level of detail in his guest book. Great place for a couple or a small family visiting Oak Island!

Great experience!

This was the perfect rental for our family of 4! From before our stay until the day we left, communication with the owners was timely and thorough. The unit was spacious and in a great location on the island. Everything was in clean, working order, and there were a number of 'little things' that made our stay pleasant, such as playing cards/board games and charging ports on the nightstands. Having convenient parking and pool access were great. Instructions for everything in the unit and upon departure were simple to follow. We will definitely recommend to others and stay there again if we return to Oak Island!

Second time at Carolina Tides, great place with the Beach, pool, and places to eat just a few steps away! Eric is wonderful to work with! On this trip we were able tp play Pickleball at Middleton Park with the locals and 12 new courts! What a fun group!

Great beach condo!

I brought my 3 kids by myself for spring break and the proximity to the beach and pier made this trip doable! The condo is exactly as pictured and super clean. Communication was the best we’ve encountered and we were even offered early check-in without asking. We will totally stay here again!

Amazing Family Vacay

We LOVED our stay here! The condo was great for our family of 4 and perfectly located near the beach. Perfect vacation

We had an absolute wonderful time at this condo. The beach and the pier are just right across the street. My husband is a big fisherman and my daughter and I love the beach so it was perfect. He walked right across the street to the pier and we walked right across the street to the beach. Eric was so helpful and told us that we could call him or text him with any issues that we may have had. Of course we did not have any and everything was great. The condo was very clean and we will definitely be back. Thank you !!

Wonderful time in OKI

Very clean and comfortable. Across the street from the pier and beach. Spent our mornings walking the beach, and afternoons and evenings trying the many restaurants. Great Little Gem

This end unit two bedroom condo it's a nice little gem. It was clean, well stocked, sealed well (no bugs), quiet, ceiling fans, cold AC, front door next to stairs, and parking directly underneath. Big enough for my full size pickup. Although not right on the beach it was a short couple hundred feet walk with two entrances to the beach on either side of a clean & relatively new fishing Pier. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the pier and quiet evenings sitting on the pier watching the sunset. Pier is open till 10:00 p.m. and is free to walk on and sit on the benches. Coffee shop and restaurant at the pier. Note: Sand washing off hose at the entrance of the Pier. Employees & everyone were very very nice. There is an occupied unit over this condo but the residents were very quiet. From the corner of the outdoor porch you can actually see the ocean and Pier. The hot tub and pool were nice and few people were there. Overall we had a nice, calm stay. Eric the owner was very communicative and attentive to our needs. Thanks so much and we'll be back!

Holiday at Oak Island

My husband and I were very pleased with the property. The owner is very responsive both prior to our arrival and when we had any questions on site. Clean and modern unit. Loved the covered porch! Only downfall was the close proximity to the dumpsters. We would definitely rent this property again if we are in the area.

Hidden Gem of Oak Island, NC

We looked through multiple listings to find one that put us near a fishing pier and this listing hit all the requirements! A half a block from beach access and fishing pier made this a spectacular find. Oh and there is a coffee spot right next to the bait shop! Eric is a great host. He started communicating a few days prior to our travels to confirm arrival times and a few of the house rules. He stayed in touch throughout our visit to make sure we had everything we needed. This property comes with linen and cleaning service which all worked out very well. Our visit found this complex quiet and well maintained overall. We will definitely look to Eric in the future for our vacation needs!!
