Dieses prächtige, zweistöckige Haus überblickt den Pazifik von einer Klippe aus, von der aus Sie das ganze Jahr über eine atemberaubende Aussicht genießen können! Mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern können hier bis zu sechs Gäste bequem schlafen! Parken Sie das Auto in der Einfahrt, schnappen Sie sich Ihre Koffer und betreten Sie diese wunderschöne Unterkunft!

Wenn Sie das Otter Rock Hideaway betreten, befinden Sie sich im geräumigen Wohnzimmer mit atemberaubender Aussicht direkt aus dem Fenster! Große Erkerfenster bieten besonders im Sommer viel Tageslicht und die Aussicht ist unschlagbar! Eine große Plüschcouch und ein Sessel umgeben einen Flachbildfernseher mit DVD-Player, Kabel-TV und Satellitenfernsehen. Sie haben auch Zugang zu Wi-Fi. Nehmen Sie sich eine Schüssel Popcorn und entspannen Sie sich nach einem langen Tag in der Sonne am Fernseher für einen Filmabend mit Ihren Lieben! In der Ecke steht ein Holzofen, der Sie in den kühlen Nächten an der Küste von Oregon warm hält. Zwei zusätzliche Sessel stehen vor den Fenstern, von denen aus Sie einen erstklassigen Blick auf das Wasser haben! Holen Sie sich ein Buch oder einen Snack und genießen Sie die Sonne!

Der Esstisch und die Küche befinden sich direkt neben dem Wohnzimmer. Der Esstisch bietet Platz für vier Ihrer Gäste, während die Kücheninsel Platz für drei Personen bietet. Entspannen Sie am Tisch bei einem Kartenspiel oder genießen Sie gemeinsam Ihr hausgemachtes Lieblingsessen, während Sie den Ozean beobachten. Die Küche bietet alles, was Sie brauchen, um während Ihres Aufenthalts schnell und einfach Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten. Sie haben Zugang zu einem Kühlschrank, einem Backofen / Herd, einer Mikrowelle, einem Geschirrspüler, einem Toaster, einer Kaffeemaschine sowie viel Besteck und Geschirr für alle in Ihrer Gruppe.

Sie können auf das Achterdeck über den Küchenbereich zugreifen, wo Sie Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien und einen Propangrill finden, den Sie in den warmen Sommermonaten nutzen können! Grillen Sie ein paar Rippchen und Hühnchen für die ganze Familie, während Sie die frische, salzige Luft aus dem Pazifik einatmen!

Gehen Sie zurück ins Haus und Sie finden die ersten beiden Schlafzimmer und das Gemeinschaftsbad auf dieser Etage. Das erste Schlafzimmer bietet den Gästen ein Queensize-Bett mit einer Kommode für Ihre Kleidung. Das große Fenster lässt auch viel natürliches Licht herein oder lesen Sie einfach mit der Nachttischlampe, während Sie im Bett entspannen. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist perfekt für alle Kinder in Ihrer Gruppe mit zwei Einzelbetten. Das Gemeinschaftsbad auf dieser Etage verfügt über eine Kombination aus Dusche und Badewanne. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner befinden sich ebenfalls auf dieser Etage in der Garage. Packen Sie also Licht für Ihren Aufenthalt ein und waschen Sie die Kleidung nach Bedarf!

Gehen Sie nach oben in die Master Suite, einen offenen Loftbereich mit der besten Aussicht im gesamten Haus! Natürliches Licht strömt von Westen herein und bietet Ihnen den besten Blick auf das Wasser direkt von den gemütlichen Stühlen und Sofas an den Fenstern. Machen Sie ein Nickerchen in der Ecke oder genießen Sie in den frühen Morgenstunden eine heiße Tasse Kaffee. Amazing view, great place for 2 couples
The house was a perfect vacation getaway location for 2 couples. The two bedrooms have their own bathrooms and are like separate suites, with a beautiful shared living room, kitchen and deck. More information about the area would have been helpful, e.g., descriptions of nearby restaurants and beach access routes, but we figured it out and enjoyed the area and beach. Also, be aware that the garage is not available.

Great views, ocean sounds, quiet and private.
We truly enjoyed our stay. For future ideas though; we were there a week and only had 4 hotel bars of soap, a tiny bottle of dish soap and two rolls of toilet paper for the two bathrooms. More cleaning supplies would have come in handy. There were plenty of towels for everyone though. Overall, we had a great time.

We had a wonderful trip. The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We spent rainy days playing board games at the dining room table and sunny days at the beach. The beach access below the house was too muddy to use so we took the main road. The walk was a short 15 minutes. While taking this route, we also enjoyed walking to tide pools as well as The Devil’s Punchbowl. The house is perfectly comfortable. I would recommend bringing foil, baggies, and/or Tupperware if planning to eat meals at the house. Otherwise the kitchen is very well equipped! I would also note that the coffee maker is a Keurig. This house is an absolute treasure. We would love to return again and again.

I would suggest that additional directions leaving highway be provided. Would have liked some way to shade the great room area in late afternoon on sunny days. Nice house with excellent view. Need to improve and update furnishings such as couch and chairs in living room and twin beds. Couch was stained and dirty with a lot of dog hair. We put a blanket over the couch. One of the twin beds had a very hard mattress and was very noisy when turning over. Bought a foam pad to put on mattress and when we removed bedding sheets mattress was very stained snd dirty. Pretty gross. The adult sleeping in that bed went and slept on couch due to noisy bedframe. Only two of the recliners in living room were comfortable. Other ones not comfy. Again, nice house but need to invest in better quality furniture. Also, there were no coffee filters for coffee pot. When you spend several hundred dollars per night should have basic kitchen items stocked and comfortable furnishings.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views are magnificent! The outdoor deck is wonderful. The space accommodated four adults very comfortably. The upstairs master suite offers a private haven with an outstanding view and an excellent shower. The house was clean but not thoroughly cleaned. For example, the top surfaces were dusted but mostly not anything below that. There are plenty of pots and pans, but some could use to be replaced. Regarding the main floor bedrooms - the bed frame of the twin bed near the window needs to be checked. It makes loud creaking noises when you sit or lay on it. The double mattress in the other main floor bedroom is extremely soft and the bed frame is a bit squeaky. The window in this bedroom could use a screen. The main floor bathroom is in excellent condition but very small. Even with these issues, I would definitely return to this rental - a lovely, restful location!

Maintenance was always helpful, replacing batteries for a smoke detector that started going off at 4 AM, as well as switching the batteries for the bed's remote so we could attempt to make it more comfortable...unfortunately not. It didn't seem like the place was very well vacuumed before we arrived either, since we kept finding bits and pieces of debris...any time we called property management they were nice, but not entirely helpful. Especially when we called asking for more trash bags and toilet paper after being there for 2 weeks already...we were denied fresh amenities, but for a short stay they supply you with enough. Overall the location of this house made up for any issues we had.

This is an adorable beach house. The view was hypnotic from the living room and deck. We were worried we wouldn't leave and head to the beach it was so cozy and relaxing. Getting up in the morning with that view and a cup of coffee was just what we needed. Also they have a great property manager!

From watching the waves crash in the morning over a cup of coffee to a glass of wine next to the fire at night, we enjoyed every minute. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The master suite was gorgeous and totally separate from the other guestrooms. Our only complaint would have to be the bed in the master bedroom, it was awful. No matter how we tried to adjust the sleep number mattress we could not get it to become comfortable. By the third day we slept in the downstairs bedrooms with our kids. Aside from that though, everything was as advertised. Close to the beach and town, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only thing that was sub-optimal was that the Sleep Number mattress in the master suite wouldn't inflate! We enjoyed watching national history on the super large screen TV, as well as the terrific ocean view. Tons of cooking equipment, in a beautiful, quiet location with easy access to Newport for shopping, restaurants, etc.

Arrived to filthy home mid-pandemic
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented this home for a secluded pandemic get-away. We arrived to find that the home had not been cleaned since it was last used. Toilets had brown streaks and toilet paper in them. Beds were disheveled. Surfaces were dirty. This would be bad enough on any normal day, but mid-pandemic it was appalling. We had been promised that due to the pandemic everything was being *more intensely* cleaned and sanitized. That couldn't have been further from the truth. And we weren't notified before arrival. We walked into a dirty home. We ended up cleaning and sanitizing the house ourselves because we had nowhere else to go. Management did return our cleaning deposit and one night's rental fee. All that said, the view from this home was wonderful and the deck was a delight. The community is quiet and secluded.

Wonderful Escape
We stayed for 4 nights with just our immediate family of five. The house offered everything needed including amazing views and easy access to the beach/area. Very comfortable I’d say the only things lacking were a couple of the beds were not the most comfortable and we would have loved to have a hot tub available after hiking and biking in the area. Would definitely rent here again 😃

Nice Spot, but issues during our stay
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good: beautiful spot with wonderful views of the beach. Kitchen well appointed and home with nice spots for lazing with a beach view. Near the beach. The bad: beds are not good. The upstairs bed was hard as a rock and apparently has some kind of air powered mattress adjuster but it was broken. Bed downstairs was way too soft. I am generally someone who does not mind these things but those beds were bad. I had to sleep on the kids' single bed. Water is not hot for long. Clothes dryer does not work on two of the three settings. Driveway abuts a very steep cliff requiring an 8-point turn around for my Ford F-150. The ugly: there was no binder / information for the home. It took the whole family about 30 minutes to figure out how to play a DVD and we are not stupid people (DVD inputted through 'PC' setting). Also, we did not know how to get to the beach and had to ask a neighbor (go down Gladys past all the "no trespassing" signs).

Housekeeping/repairs needed
1) the bathroom sink on the first floor has a MAJOR drainage problem. 2) Please check the dishwasher. The dial sticks in “wash”and does not continue its cycle, just repeats the wash cycle continually. 3) guest bedroom on the first floor with the queen bed: needs a screen on the window. Also needs a blackout curtain. Street light shines in bedroom all night long. Other than those complaints, the house filled our needs. Lovely location. We will return to the Otter Rock area.
