kilometerlange Aussicht auf die Berge und die Städte Pigeon Forge und Gatlinburg. "Haus der untergehenden Sonne" wird Sie begeistern !! Von den "Haus" -Decks aus sehen Sie jeden Abend die herrliche untergehende Sonne beim Grillen oder Entspannen nach einem langen Wandertag im Nationalpark oder Skifahren in Ober Gatlinburg, nur wenige Minuten die Straße hinunter. Nach einem unterhaltsamen Ausflug nach Dollywood oder einem Einkaufsbummel in der Arts and Crafts Community auf der Glades Road können Sie sich in der Sauna aufwärmen oder im großen Whirlpool entspannen. In diesen kalten Winternächten können Sie es sich vor dem Holzkamin gemütlich machen, während Sie in den großen, überfüllten Ledersessel oder das Sofa sinken.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer im ersten Stock verfügt über eine prächtige King-Master-Suite mit komfortablem und gemütlichem Dekor und eigenem Bad. Der Master im 2. Stock ist sehr geräumig und hell mit offenem Grundriss, Whirlpool-Whirlpool mit eigenem Bad und Sauna. Es gibt auch eine sehr gemütliche Schlafnische mit einem Einzelbett.

Die helle und voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen neuen Geräten wird jedes Kochherz zum Schmelzen bringen! Kaffeeliebhaber haben die Wahl zwischen einer Filterkaffeemaschine oder einem Keurig. Die Schlafzimmer sind mit Flachbildfernsehern sowie dem Hauptwohnbereich ausgestattet. Mit Spectrum-Kabel können Sie Highspeed-Internet genießen. An diesen heißen Sommertagen können Sie ein paar Meter zum Gemeinschaftspool laufen, um sich abzukühlen.

Dieser Bereich ist so schön. Es liegt in einer Sackgasse mit sehr wenig Verkehr. Sie befinden sich auf der Spitze des Berges mit den spektakulärsten Aussichten! Höher geht es nicht! Sie werden vielleicht ziemlich oft von Bären besucht. Es ist ein Muss und ein Muss zu bleiben. Wir haben uns in diese Gegend verliebt und wussten, dass wir hier ein Zuhause haben wollen. Wir hoffen, Sie lieben es genauso wie wir. Wenn Sie eine größere Gruppe haben, aber dennoch Ihren Platz wünschen, können wir sie unterbringen, da wir ein anderes Anwesen auf der anderen Straßenseite haben, das Platz für 7 Personen bietet (Haus der aufgehenden Sonne, Evolve Vacation Rentals # 420828).

Great Stay

Great property and view! Picked it for the view and it did not disappoint. Lots of bear sightings! Takes about 15 min to get down or up the mountain. Ober upper parking lot is about 9 mins away.

Beautiful View and home

The home was beautifully appointed. The view is stunning. The jacuzzi was enjoyed by our two teens. Overall, the house was fantastic for our group of 4. The lower main bedroom has a bathroom and king bed. The entire upper level contains a king bed, shower/toilet room, separate garden tub with window, and a large oversized chair and ottoman. This room also has a single bed in a converted window nook.

Girls getaway

My bestie and I wanted to have a girls trip to get away. This was absolutely perfect! We wanted something beautiful and relaxing. After pooping my pants driving up the mountain the beautiful view made it all worth it! This trip is exactly what we needed! You could stay at the house all day and relax with a beautiful view or go for a ride in the smokies! Downtown gatlinburg is not far either. So mamy options of things to do. I definitely want to come back!

Great vaca spot

Perfect getaway in the mountains. Loved the drive up each night. We’d go down in the morning to all the great things around and come up when we were done for the day to enjoy the hot tub and relax with the best views! Accommodated a family Of 5 perfectly!

The views!

The views from the decks sold me on this location. Nobody has better views than this house. It was a nice and well maintained house. Sitting in the hot tub on a cool night overlooking the city lights was awesome. I will be back to this property.

Awesome views!

This is our second year at this property, the view from the deck (and in the hot tub) never gets old! The house is lovely, very clean and well appointed. While on the smaller side, it's still comfortable for a family of five. The drive up the mountain to get there is well worth it as the cul de sac is quiet and you are definitely away from the crowds in Gatlinburg. The pool across the street was an added bonus. Beautiful sun rises and sunsets from that deck and even rain storms going through the valley made for fascinating viewing. Well worth it.

Smokey Mountain visit

The views were spectacular. Especially the sunset on our first night. Also walked across the parking lot to see a beautiful sunrise one morning. The Chalet was sufficient for us, although the kitchen is small. We had to move the dining table around for 4 of us to dine. Small area there too. Beds were comfortable. Upstairs shower head was very difficult to turn the water on. The entrance to the Chalet is in need of maintenance and repairs. As well as other areas of the home. Weeds in the landscaping. Dead trees. We did not use the hot tub nor the jacuzzi tub. We spent the day away from the Chalet enjoying shows in Pigeon Forge and visiting The Islands.

Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the deck is incredible. The property is as represented and equipped with what you would expect. Our kids enjoyed having their own space in the loft. Very quick drive to Gatlinburg and the National Park but very nice to get away from the crowds.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay with one 9 year old, parents and one pair of grandparents. The views and the deck are fantastic. By far that was the best part. Obviously, to get to a mountain top view you have to drive up some steep and narrow mountain roads. If that makes you nervous this isn't your place. The second floor bed was in an open loft, and the sleeping nook for the single bed is actually the closet for the upstairs guests. For kids that are older it might not be enough. It's small as described, not a ton of space. We used the kitchen to cook and have dinner on the deck, but it is a one-cook space. Very clean, check in and check out were smooth and it served us well. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect House for Our Family's Spring Break

My husband, boys (18 and 4) and I went to Gatlinburg for our oldest son's last spring break before graduating high school and we could not have asked for a better place to stay! We loved the location and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. The view from the deck was AMAZING! An added bonus for us was that we woke up to snow our second morning there (being from Florida, this was a big deal for us)!! We spent a good amount of time at the house and it was very comfortable and cozy for us. The layout of the bedrooms was perfect for our family, also. We gave our older son the bedroom downstairs and my husband and I had the upstairs bedroom/loft, the little sleeping nook upstairs was a unique and great setup for our 4-year-old. Prior to our stay, the owner sent us all the information we would need for our stay. She also sent an email letting us know about the new parking permit requirement that had just started, which we did not know about and were very thankful for the information so we could buy/print our permit before leaving for our trip. We truly enjoyed every second of our stay and would rent this property again.

Spectacular!

This chalet was perfect for our Christmas vacation and exactly what we were looking for! The home was warm, cozy, comfortable and very welcoming. The setup was perfect for our family. We could all be together yet had our own space. The host was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful. And that view, WOW! We enjoyed sitting on the deck just taking in the scenery & sunsets. We were also able to watch all the NYE fireworks in Pigeon Forge from the deck. Close to PG & Gatlinburg yet secluded for escaping the hustle of the tourist scene. There is a little store for basic supplies and a pizza restaurant within a few miles. Can’t wait for our next vacation at this chalet!

Hilltop Hideaway

Property was just as advertised. Beautiful views and so close to many attractions, trails etc. We were greeted by two baby bears on the way up the mountain and NO we didn't stop to say hi. The house was fully furnished, clean and quite comfortable. We would definitely return.

Very clean and comfortable chalet with amazing views. Our friends that stayed nearby said we had the view they were looking for. Owners are always friendly and add special touches that are greatly appreciated. We will definitely return!

Our family has been visiting Gatlinburg for many years. It always felt very special to us, like we belonged here. We traveled here so many times on a very limited budget when our kids were growing up. I knew this is where I wanted a second home. The Smoky Mountains were our family's playground and still is. We were able to become part of this great community and purchased our first property in 2017. We love it so much that we wanted to share our experience with others. And the views from Haus of the Setting Sun are absolutely amazing!! Why would you want to come to Gatlinburg and not get a chalet at the tip top of the mountain with amazing views! To wake up and see God's beauty is awesome!

We chose this property because it sits in a quaint little cul-de-sac with no traffic, on top of a mountain and you can see for miles and miles and miles. One guest commented to us that "it looked like a little village on a movie set". You can't get any higher than this! We sit above Ober Gatlinburg which is only .5 miles away. It is a unique location. We love it so much that we own another property across the way. Also you may see lots of bears depending on the season.
